Ice cream is great if they have what you want in the store. This is my family's 3rd trip to this particular Cold Stone since moving to the west valley. All 3 visits there have been no bananas. 2 of the visits there were no lids. How does that even happen when a lot of people take theirs with no lid? Tonight, we were told no bananas and then also no nilla wafers only for the one gentleman working to have found some at the last moment. Idk who does the ordering and scheduling for this store but you need to pay better attention to your sales numbers. There were 4 teens (?) busting their humps to get orders completed. It was busy. Clearly, you need better coverage for all weekend nights. My husband and i stood in front of the actual ice cream for nearly 5 minutes before even being acknowledged. Acknowledgement of your customers, is a minimum during a rush. At this point, I will gladly drive back to Gilbert to the Cold Stone off Power and Germann just to get the service and product that I've come to expect from Cold Stone.

We stopped for some ice cream, not to busy at the time we went. Service was good, nice and friendly. Ice cream was made to order, and good portion. Place needed some TLC, tables need a wipe down, floors needed sweeping.

Every time you offer some kind of seasonal flavor, this location NEVER has all of the ingredients! Ordered the banana pudding and no vanilla wafers, so they stuck Graham crackers in there!! Don't offer something you don't have all of the ingredients for!Also the kids working here need to be taught common courtesy and how to do their jobs. One teen stood there for 5 minutes because she did not know how to make one of the ice creams. Up until someone came out ans asked her I'd she was ok. This location has really gone downhill!!

Friday, Jan 26 747 pm I came into this location in Avondale which I've been coming to for years. The two staff in there (two Hispanic girls) number one did not great me or my husband when we came in. They couldn't even be bothered and barely looked up. They clearly saw us and couldnt even say theyd be right with us. We stood there for about two minutes. Another Hispanic couple came in after us and were promptly greeted. We said well I'm not spending my money here and left. That is completely unacceptable. Check your staff Cold Stone. Thus location has gone downhill and I'm upset I even stopped here. Should have gone to the location closer to home. Terrible service.

I’ve never had an issue with my ice cream, but the service here? My goodness. There is a total of TWO people at this location with common decency. This place is overran by KIDS, and is usually a disaster. There’s been times that I have gone in and have been completely ignored for minutes while they two girls are having a gossip conversation behind the counter. My man and I were the only ones there. A few weeks ago, I called and asked for the manager and the girl rudely goes “why..? What’s up..?” And I express that it’s about employment and she goes “oh… well, we don’t have a manager.” So I asked who does their scheduling and food order then, and she goes “the supervisor.” So just when I think I’m getting through to her I go, “perfect! That’s who I’m looking to talk to. Do you know when she’ll be in?” And she goes “no.” So I thanked and hung up. I go in a few days later and find out that that was incorrect and they DO in fact have a manager. I called today and asked to speak with her by name, as I was told to call this morning at open. I’m told that she’s not available, and that she’s very busy. I say that that’s not a problem and am curious when I can reach back out. She then proceeds to tell me that “she’s too busy and they’re not hiring anyways.” At this point I believe I’m dealing with the same teenager I dealt with the first time. So I ask her, “okay, I actually have something else I’d like to talk to her about as well. Do you have any idea when I’ll be able to do that?” And she goes “like I said she’s too busy. Is it like a tax question? I’m the team lead (greeeeat) so I might be able to answer. Also, she isn’t our manager she’s the owner. We don’t have a manager.” (That makes her the manager if she’s writing your schedules and overseeing, as well as doing the scheduling, but okay..) so I tell her “I’d really rather talk to her about the matter” and she goes “well she’s real busy but if you want I can give her your name and have her call you back, but it could be a week or longer.” And I was like yeah give her my name please.I know my name is never going to get passed over. At this point, I don’t really care as these aren’t people I’d like to work with.I have years of management experience, and the way that this place looks, which is usually messy with these literal children running ramped, I could have turned it around for this location. Or at least had given them a decent ADULT manager presence since the one girl claims they “don’t have one.” I hope the manager, owner, whatever her title truly is sees this, and can have a constructional conversation with her team. Every interaction I’ve had with this “lead” on the phone has been rude and unprofessional. And with so many good workers out there looking for employment with stellar customer service, it might be time for an upgrade.

I love coldstone but this location was the sloppiest location I have ever been to. A bunch of young kids talking instead of working. Start to finish about 12 min to get my order into my hands and I was the only one in line. Ice cream all over the glass, just plain sloppy.Need better managment and guidance.

I will no longer go to this place. My group and I need it to use the bathroom, the lady said is only for employees, but while we were eating our icecream someone else asked and went to the bathroom it wasn't fair for us, we were customers too.

This place is horrid man. Just wanted to treat my kiddos to ice cream. My youngest is potty training and they wouldn't even let him use the bathroom. The women helping us was just rude the whole time to multiple customers. Never again I'm sure there's better places

Now I usually don't like leaving reviews like these but this was some horrible service the workers were nowhere to be found for like 10 minutes, while we were waiting to place an order. And once we got the shakes they gave us the wrong ones I would not recommend coming here. Horrible!

I wish I took pictures of the inside before I left. But it was disgusting, there was an open table. I asked the worker after he was ringing me up. Do you have a rag or something I can wipe the dirty table with because it's disgusting? and he tells me you can use the napkins. I thought it was the workers responsibilities to clean off tables? I guess I was wrong. Won't be back to this location

My parents and I got ice cream after watching a movie. One of the employees happened to help both my mom and dad and gave them a poor amount of ice cream for what they order (Gotta Have it each). The employee dropped half of my mom's ice cream and when my dad politely mentioned that the ice cream amount was that of a love it, they proceeded to pour in more toppings instead of providing the right amount of ice cream he paid for. Not to mention that the cheesecake ice cream tasted like frozen milk rather than actual cheesecake flavoring, according to my mom, who always orders cheesecake at previous Cold Stone locations. No hate to the employee since it seemed like they were a newbie, but definitely wish the manager was there to help them out instead of having to see them struggle with my parents order like they did, unfortunately. It sucked having to see my parents – who were excited about getting cold stone – to be disappointed in what they got. (My ice cream was well made, personally, then again a different employee helped). PLEASE BE POLITE WITH EMPLOYEES EVEN IF THEY MESS UP, AND PLEASE PROVIDE ASSISTANCES TO THOSE WHO MAY BE NEWLY EMPLOYED.❤️
