Unfortunately not the typical decent experience dining in today, plates you can tell where washwd but still had oils pn them feom the food, the utensils had dried onion on them, apple juice was watered down and on the wifes shore bird had a biiig piece of plastic inside that she bit into, waitress was great nothing wrong on her part, more of a quality thing

Food was decent, burger was amazing! The onion rings were over cooked. The floor was a bit slippery with grease. The restaurant was a bit on the cold side, like I wish I would have brought a jacket.

So our minds were absolutely blown. About two months ago, we stopped into Islands in Avondale for a quick bite and some drinks, and we were helped by Maddie. She was fantastic — great conversation, everything spot‑on, just an all‑around awesome experience.

Today we decided to go back, and we specifically asked for her because she made such an impression. And this is where things got wild in the best way. She remembered us. Not just...
