Hadn't eaten here in several years, I remembered it as being ok, nothing special. Tonight didn't change my mind. The food is ok, nothing special. Prices are very reasonable. Hot sauce very hot but not a lot of flavor. Ok if you're close, hungry and in the mood for Mexican but not a drive out of your way place.
Have been coming here for some time now, it is hit or miss with this place. The family that owns it, also is wait staff, They are tired of there day to day, and it shows in there nonchalant additude, and the tired and worn out look of the resturants. I think if I was to look inside the kitchen that I would probably not go back. I support local mom and pops places over chains. The food is reasonably priced and taste ok. The quality of the service has certainly declined in the last year. Tonight included: fajitas (that were not sizzling), no lemons (i.e. bland water), no limes (so forget the Corona) and they were out of our other favorite beer option. There's definitely no rush to get your food out and it may very well be that the people who come in after you get their food first. Very disappointed...not sure we'll make the drive any longer...
