Our waitstaff, Laurel, was exceptional. She was knowledgeable about the menu and appropriately attentive. We started with the appetizer sampler — stuffed peppers, stuffed dates and prosciutto-wrapped artichoke hearts. Each had a distinct, yet subtle flavor. Absolutely excellent. The duck breast in a sour cherry reduction with mashed potatoes and vegetables was beyond description. The duck was tender and succulent. The Chilean sea bass was the only disappointment. The fish was overcooked. The other components of the dish (shrimp and a lobster cake) were very good. Overall, an outstanding restaurant.

This is an excellent restaurant. You need to make a reservation far in advance or you won’t get in. My husband and I have eaten here 3-4 times while visiting Bisbee. The food is high quality and the service is fine. When we made our reservation we requested downstairs seating. My sister-in-law would not have wanted to walk up the stairs to the mezzanine. When you sit downstairs you get to enjoy a high ceiling. I had lamb. My husband had the flank steak special. My sister-in-law had short ribs. We shared dessert. Everything was excellent. They have a full bar. I don’t think there is any seating at the bar. We always plan on having dinner here when we visit Bisbee. The restaurant is open only a few days a week, and only for dinner.

Excellent experience. Visiting a friend in Bisbee who knows the limited dates and reservations needed to dine here. Thoughtful service from the chef in timing our meals and friendly service that was attentive, without distractions to our conversation. The food portions are generous and flavorful. We loved the piquio peppers, the seafood was fresh and the zin reduction was umami.

Cafe Roka cannot be outdone in terms of drinks, food and overall care they put in making their guests feel special. Angela is one of the warmest, kindest people we have met and truly took care of us for our celebration dinner. For an up-scale dinner in Bisbee, Roka is the stand-out.
