Stood there waiting to be seated for 10 minutes no employee even looked as us
Stopped to try the pies mostly, but enjoyed a nice meal too. Generous portions and prices fair and reasonable. Pleasant restaurant and store. Also some stores very close by along with some art on display and for sale. Worth the stop. Is it the best pie ever. Well no. But, very good and the service was excellent - friendly and just attentive enough to keep drinks full and make sure we had anything we needed.
This was a pleasant surprise on the way from Phoenix to Sedona/Flagstaff. Our waitress Julie was so kind and helpful, and the food was delicious. She even gave us extra water for the ride through the desert. The food is homemade and the pies are worth the extra calories.
Great iconic AZ location 😀
Promptly greeted and seated. Service was delivered with kindness and smiles.
This is a marvelous place that should be known as The Pie Palace!!!! Lunch first, then shop for the right pie to take home! Just beware of the cost of the CANDY you'll f8nd in their big marketing room! I didn't, and I paid $5 for Cherry Bings!
We hadn't visited here for years after poor prior experiences with slow service and crazy crowds. We tried it again recently for breakfast and had good food and lots of it with very prompt service. It appears that they have reorganized the layout which probably helps with the pie crowds. Not sure what effect the new RV park will have on things.
Great little gift shop and they have excellent fudge!!!
Easy parking great service nice scenery awesome food and they also have some unique pies and chocolates and barbecue sauce and stuff like that definitely recommend to go there and they've been around for almost 100 years or a little bit over
Have never had any issues with this place in the past. But we were driving back from Cottonwood yesterday and looking forward to our pie shakes, we follow the instructions plastered all over the building - to buy our slice of pie at the pie shack. We even tell the person at the Pie Shack that we are going to have them made as shakes. Then we get to the Cafe and to the shake counter, pie slices in hand. Only to be turned down by the grumpiest server I think I’ve ever met. Just felt like she couldn’t be bothered to make a shake. Telling us that we could only have a shake with pie from vastly understocked refrigerator right there. I think the staff here really needs some customer service training, plus all get on the same page! Missed out on 5 sales for shakes, and we just had to eat the pie.

Great pie, especially the pecan. It’s a down go earth homey feel with great country kitchen style cooking.
