Restaurant needs a deep cleaning. The grilled cheese was burnt and the table was dirty and Y'all needed to do better. Will not be back here not even for the pies it needs cleaned badly maybe call Gordon Ramsay.
Decided to try the "famous" pie barn. Purchased apple crumb, strawberry rhubarb crumb, jd pecan and banana cream. No decernable fruit in the apple nor strawberry rhubarb, just mush covered with a gagging amount of sugar,. Pecan was nothing but jelled brown sugar. The only redeeming item was the banana..flaky crust, real banana pieces and what tasted like a combination of fresh whipped cream mixed with pudding . Prices for pies and restaurant menu items are ridiculous...
It has been a few years since eating at this cafe. But, we do stop to pick up on of their great pies. They have been selling their pies for decades. They now have a special building just for the pies and other caned type goods. Not cheap but the very best,
