We went to this location last night, I've never had a bad experience at El Pollo Loco prior to this visit. The food was terrible, my quesidilla was cold inside cheese was not melted, my family got food poisoning sick all night and day today. I asked for the red salsa they said they didn't have any then the lady gave it to a man next to me right in front of me I asked her why she told me there was none and she said it's only for people who buy a burrito. I reminded her that we did purchase a burrito, and she said sorry. I will never go back to this location, and it really ruined El Pollo Loco for me as I typically have it for lunch once a week.

Ordered a tostada salad .. mostly lettuce everything was sprinkled.. litterly I almost thought they hadn’t put anything but lettuce.. I’ll try avoid going to this location from now on.. usually my favorite thing to get so I know how they come

Great place to pickup some good food to take to the park down the road and have a picnic. Prices are better than the other fast food places around there and the food is a lot better too.

Pro tip: Just because you cooked it, doesn't mean you have to serve it.
After two separate visits to this El Pollo Loco, days apart, I'm done. They serve the most unappetizing food. ? The BRC on the right looks...disgusting, and I can smell the burn. The shredded chicken and cheese pollo bowl I purchased over the weekend was not appetizing either and not full. I kept thinking that dark red thing was cranberry sauce.
The bowls I purchased from other locations out of state looked nice and were packed with food. This one....
This place just takes your appetite, or maybe that's what happens when you ask for the veteran or senior discount.
The location at McDowell & 99th Ave is newer and served better looking food, but my first bite of shredded chicken & cheese pollo bowl had a nice long bone in it. That's a photo for another review.
My mother didn't mention any problems with her two-piece thigh and wing, so I gave two stars.
I was recovering from a procedure, but now I can make my own food again. Thank goodness.

This is the worst El Pollo Loco that I have ever been to. We came in with a trust that it would be exceptional because every other one we ever ate at was great. Now I will Always check reviews before going in or ordering from. The service was not friendly. The tea was terrible. The chicken was burned and dried out. They fixed my double chicken bowl with the burned parts underneath so you couldn't see them but you bit into it before you could tell. Awful. I almost believe they did it on purpose because we were white. Just completely juvenile and unbelievable that it was so bad. Don't go there. Not worth it.
