“OMG! If you have not tried this place yet, you need to! The food was delicious! I will definitely order again and again.”

“So here’s the deal… before we arrived, my daughter looked over the menu and noticed that some prices had been increased for Valentine’s Day. Maybe that’s typical, but it didn’t feel like a great way to win over new customers. It seems like everywhere you go these days there are upcharges for everything. When we first walked in, it felt a bit like stepping into a diner because the tables were packed so closely together. That could have been due to it being Valentine’s Day, but it did make the space feel tight. We were seated promptly, and I will say the waitress was pleasant and attentive from start to finish. What rubbed me the wrong way early on was that they don’t offer complimentary chips and salsa. On top of that, a single burrito costs $18 plus tax — and that’s just the burrito. No rice, no beans, no sides. The plate looked sparse and uninviting. I’ve been to plenty of Mexican restaurants, even more upscale ones, that serve a more complete plate for that price. It’s hard not to notice the value gap. Being located in Old Town Buckeye, where there are other Mexican eateries nearby, it felt a bit like nickel-and-diming — especially when you’re paying premium prices without the extras that typically round out the experience. The food itself is genuinely good. Flavor-wise, they’ve done a nice job. Their attempt to position themselves as a more upscale Mexican restaurant shows in the taste, but it falls short on overall value. There’s definitely a balance that could be achieved between quality and price. If you’re looking for strong value for your money, this may not be the spot. They also add a credit card fee and still prompt for a tip. Personally, I likely would have tipped more than 15% if the overall value felt more aligned with the pricing. That said, the food will not disappoint. At the end of the day, this is a revitalizing area. If you’re expecting a scenic window setting and a high-end ambiance, you may want to look elsewhere. But if your main priority is good-tasting food, this place delivers.”

“THE BEST we have tired in AZ! We first tried them at Mortimer Farm and were super excited to find out they were in Buckeye! We went again last week in the walmart parking lot and not only is their food amazing, they are so welcoming.”

“We came here after church. There is no indoor seating. It’s a small patio with a small menu. The waitress was great. The food was good, but expensive. There are misters around the patio, but it was hot out there. The view is beautiful.”

“It’s been nearly 40 years since I last had Godfather’s Pizza as a teenager in the Midwest. I didn’t even realize there was a location here in Arizona until yesterday! I still remember their pizzas being loaded with toppings and easily the best in town.

After so many years, I expected things might have changed—that maybe the pizzas would be like most others today, cutting back on toppings. I once asked another pizza chain why a pizza with multiple toppings seemed to have less of each one. The employee said, “Since you have more toppings, we use less of each.” When I pointed out that I was paying extra for each topping, he admitted, “That’s right.” I remember thinking, “That’s insane!”

I’m happy to say that my expectations were completely wrong about Godfather’s Pizza. The pizza was just like I remembered—piled high with toppings, served hot and fresh, and made with genuine care. The toppings were falling off the slices because they were so generously prepared! Special thanks to Veronica for the warm service and great attitude.

Thank you, Godfather’s Pizza, for staying true to your promise of quality and abundance, no compromise. You brought back wonderful memories of my youth!”

“I'm pretty sure the young lady that helped me was on something. It was like she just stared at me, could barely make a full sentence, and spoke so quietly. It was like a bad comedy sketch of a bad customer service worker. She wasn't rude, but, it was weird. Anywho, food was good and accurate. So, that's something.”

“Have been coming here since we first moved out to Buckeye 5 year ago. Always fresh, great tasting donuts. And so much variety to choose from! There is a small fee for paying with card (like most small businesses nowadays) so bring cash if you can. Locally owned and highly recommend, will always be back!”

“I had an outstanding experience at Firehouse Subs thanks to Chandler and Noah. From the moment I walked in, their energy, professionalism, and attention to detail stood out. They were both incredibly friendly, efficient, and clearly take pride in their work.

Chandler made sure my order was perfect and took the time to ensure everything was exactly how I wanted it. Noah was just as impressive—working quickly while still maintaining great customer service and a positive attitude. It’s not every day you come across a team that works this well together and genuinely cares about the customer experience.

The food was fresh, made perfectly, and served fast, but what really made the visit memorable was the level of service these two provided. They set the standard for what great customer service should look like.

“So one day a coworker of mine said hey if I order some food from this place will you go pick it up and he offered to get me something as well and I said ok and to cut a long story short this led me to trying the Bone-In Buffalo Mild. He got me a 5 piece but when I got back to the store it was more like 2 for me cause I shared a few with the other two individuals working that evening and well let me just say this, That was about 3 maybe 4 weeks ago tops. I am going to use the number of the times I or me and my family going there to get takeout as the indicator of how good these wings are ! But it’s not just wings. They have BIRRIA and OMG my wife loves it …. So the amount of times since initial contact (LOL WEIRD space encounter verbiage) but the number is 4 so on average once a week average but I have confession that I hope my family don’t see and that is the two extra times I go without them during the day …, I know it’s bad but the wings so good you don’t want to share …, but hey enough of me . Go try them try something else try something different. My Bro at Jupiter Rings has one of the most diverse and interestingly delicious menus . From Birria EVERYTHING to Fish N Chips To Seafood & Smoothies, BBQ and Wings and lots of flavors and did I mention the wings have a vegan option. And this sauce is starting to go places and will continue to spread because it is that damn good ! So I hope I have at least encouraged you to give it try that’s all you have to do I promise and the MENU and their hospitality will do the rest.”

“Culvers is always a good option for a decent burger n fries after all they are the home of the infamous butter burger and they're always a hit, nothing fancy of course definitely my top choice for a chain restaurant burger but my favorite is the cod fish sandwich it's gonna run you about $9 just for the sandwich alone buts it's juicy, tasty and worth the money and we can't forget their delicious shakes if you're in need of a chilled milky dessert on a hot summer day”

Tonight I stopped by Buckeye Tailgaters by myself just to grab some food and unwind, and honestly...this place turned my whole mood around. There’s something about the atmosphere that feels genuine. Not fake-friendly, not overly polished, just good people, good energy, and that hometown sports bar vibe that makes you feel comfortable the second you walk in. 🍻🏈
I ordered the loaded potato skins and boneless wings, and BOTH were amazing. The potato skins were perfectly loaded with cheese, bacon, and flavor in every bite, and the wings were hot, fresh, saucy, and dangerously addictive. Definitely comfort food done right. 🔥
But what really made my experience stand out was my waitress, Zariah. She was an absolute doll from start to finish. Super sweet, attentive, welcoming, and just had one of those personalities that makes you feel like you’ve been coming there for years. Her cute long pigtails and positive energy honestly made the whole night better. She checked on me consistently without hovering and made sure I was comfortable dining alone, which I really appreciated.
It’s rare finding a place where the food is great AND the people make you want to come back too, but Tailgaters definitely has that magic. Safe to say I found my new little comfort spot in Buckeye. 💛”

“If I could give 10 STARS +, I would! We're semi frequent customers here & really enjoy the yogurt. I needed to request a special froyo cake at the last minute. The young man on the phone was super helpful getting me in touch with the owner, who was not in at the time. I reached out to her with an "Urgent Request" via email, & she responded right away, offering to drop what she was doing, go back to the store & custom decorate one that was in the back for my son's college graduation from ASU later the same day! She nailed it! She used ASU colors, & placed a Mortar Board Cap on it, along with a message from our family. We REALL appreciate the effort she put in to accommodate us. She could've easily just said "sorry", but didn't. And it was delicious! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”

“Ramiro’s has that classic, long-standing local spot feel—you can tell it’s been part of the community for years. I ordered the carne asada fries along with a tamarindo fruit drink, and overall, the meal delivered on flavor. The food came out hot, well-seasoned, and satisfying.

There were a couple of fries that weren’t fully cooked, but it didn’t take away too much from the experience. The tamarindo drink was refreshing and paired really well with the meal.

The dining area and exterior could definitely use some updating and a bit more attention, but if you’re focused on the food, it still holds up.

Overall, not a bad experience—solid flavors and a spot I’d consider coming back to.”

“Big shoutout to the area manager Sean. I had an olinrle for delivery order where I wanted a strawberry shake so bad. They have the best shakes. When my order got here the shake was nowhere to be found and it wasn't even on the yellow receipt which I am guessing it was sent to another kiosk to be made and both the worker and driver forgot to confirm. I was HIGHLY upset. Called the store but had to leave a message. Called the feedback line and her service was horrible. Sean received my voicemail and called me right back. He was very kind and apologized for the mishap. His customer service was extremely great and I can see why he is the area manager. I received a gift card and he processed a full refund of my $78. I ordered through the store site and they used Doordash so I am still waiting on that refund but with customer service like that I am no longer upset. I went here once before in person the week before and everyone was nice there as well. Just don't forget the drinks please!”
