“So here’s the deal… before we arrived, my daughter looked over the menu and noticed that some prices had been increased for Valentine’s Day. Maybe that’s typical, but it didn’t feel like a great way to win over new customers. It seems like everywhere you go these days there are upcharges for everything. When we first walked in, it felt a bit like stepping into a diner because the tables were packed so closely together. That could have been due to it being Valentine’s Day, but it did make the space feel tight. We were seated promptly, and I will say the waitress was pleasant and attentive from start to finish. What rubbed me the wrong way early on was that they don’t offer complimentary chips and salsa. On top of that, a single burrito costs $18 plus tax — and that’s just the burrito. No rice, no beans, no sides. The plate looked sparse and uninviting. I’ve been to plenty of Mexican restaurants, even more upscale ones, that serve a more complete plate for that price. It’s hard not to notice the value gap. Being located in Old Town Buckeye, where there are other Mexican eateries nearby, it felt a bit like nickel-and-diming — especially when you’re paying premium prices without the extras that typically round out the experience. The food itself is genuinely good. Flavor-wise, they’ve done a nice job. Their attempt to position themselves as a more upscale Mexican restaurant shows in the taste, but it falls short on overall value. There’s definitely a balance that could be achieved between quality and price. If you’re looking for strong value for your money, this may not be the spot. They also add a credit card fee and still prompt for a tip. Personally, I likely would have tipped more than 15% if the overall value felt more aligned with the pricing. That said, the food will not disappoint. At the end of the day, this is a revitalizing area. If you’re expecting a scenic window setting and a high-end ambiance, you may want to look elsewhere. But if your main priority is good-tasting food, this place delivers.“

“We order from here very often. The food is always so delicious! Very authentic Mexican food. I've already recommended friends and family to this place. The food always is served hot and fresh. I usually get the barbacoa combo and the meat is so tender and flavorful every time. We have tried so many things off of their menu and it never disappoints. Highly recommend giving this place a try.“

“We had fun here, enjoyed tasty salsa and chips while they prepared our meal. The wait was not too long. Our server has a warm smile. She checked on us to be sure we were good.
Really tasty food, very ranch-style. You would not be sorry to try this restaurant.
Oh, the seating is old west style with wooden benches.“

“Ramiro’s has that classic, long-standing local spot feel—you can tell it’s been part of the community for years. I ordered the carne asada fries along with a tamarindo fruit drink, and overall, the meal delivered on flavor. The food came out hot, well-seasoned, and satisfying.
There were a couple of fries that weren’t fully cooked, but it didn’t take away too much from the experience. The tamarindo drink was refreshing and paired really well with the meal.
The dining area and exterior could definitely use some updating and a bit more attention, but if you’re focused on the food, it still holds up.
Overall, not a bad experience—solid flavors and a spot I’d consider coming back to.“

“La Fiesta Market in Buckeye is less of a taco shop and more of a spiritual experience disguised as one. Their carne asada tacos are so good they make you question whether every other taco you have eaten was just an elaborate prank. The beef is grilled to perfection, smoky and tender enough to make a grown man tear up without admitting why. The seasoning hits you like a mariachi band playing directly to your soul, and the tortillas are warm, soft, and clearly made with the kind of love you cannot buy in a chain restaurant. By the second bite I knew I would sell state secrets just to get another plate. If I disappear for a few days, check here first and I will be sitting in the corner drowning in salsa and bad life choices but smiling the whole time.“

“Dont normally rate fast food...because...well its fast and cheap and oftentimes the order is wrong and thats mostly expected. HOWEVER, today was a fantastic experience and let me tell you why.
I ordered on mobile for pickup so I can grab and go and be on my day. Crap! I'm running late and I either pickup food and be late, or sacrifice the food and come back later. I call and actually get a manager pickup in under 3 rings. (most times places let it ring and ring and ring....and maybe you get someone) I explained my situation and the manager Arelia (please forgive me if I dont spell it correctly or if its the wrong name) said no problem, she can place it on hold for me and come on back when I'm ready. Cool, off I go to tackle my errands and tasks.
We came back, and when at the intercom I say I'm here to pick up an order, she instantly came back on and even remembered my name!!! Mind you this was 3+ hours later than when I called. Very friendly, very happy and was so awesome to deal with. Customer service at most fast food is mostly dead these days, but not today! The manager, Arelia (again sorry if its wrong) deserves some credit as it was just so nice to have someone who remembered and followed through just making us feel verry appreciative that good service just might not be dead afterall.
Explaining the star ratings:
FOOD: 3 out of 5 because... well its fast food, and its good, but its not like mind blowingly good. Their new steak melt burrito was pretty satisfying though. However Taco Bell is always a good trusty quick fix for some fast mexic....I mean Amer-xican food.
SERVICE: 5 out of 5 because I think my review goes over why. But this subject to me is why anyone would/should write a review online.
ATMOSPHERE: 4 out of 5. I actually like the new style of this location. I like the draw up door/windows it has for when it gets a better temperature they can let the outside in. It is smaller than other locations, but ultimately, I like more of the modern vibe. Wish there wasnt screens in your face promoting tp take your order instead of a person...but maybe thats how things are going these days.“

“I've had ok experiences with other Cafe Rios in the past, but this is an exceptional location! Walked in and was greeted by those on staff, ordering was easy and the food came out amazing! Abel was a great staff member, said hey as we came in, got us our food, even had a little conversation while the food got prepped! Very good staff member, and an excellent location!“
