We've rounded up Laveen Village's top Mexican spots for you to try.
“Came by for their Taco Tuesday Special over at Amadio Ranch. Ordered a few of their Al Pastor, Carne Asada, and Birria De Res tacos - $1 each. Such a great deal. Would have to say their Birria De Res shined among the three, generous serving of protein and flavorful especially when topped with their smoky Salsa Roja. Salsa Verde was good as well, it delivered a pinch of heat which paired well with their carne asada and birria de res tacos.Would advice people that wait times can be LONG, despite of placing an order in advance. Hopefully El Gran Sazon figures out the right system soon to effectively cater to both phone and on-site orders. Will definitely come back to try their Tripas and Quesabirria Tacos with consome —> Tripas seemed to be the crowd favorite as they ran out of it early.Highly recommend for you to check out and support this special spot out ??“
“I can’t have any meat, dairy and a lot of things. So to come to a spot where the owner(Candelaria)will greet you behind the glass and express her gratitude for coming and will tell you what is the best to order: ALL OF IT!!! She personally makes me veggie tacos papusa style!! Between her smile and her niece Diamond, her son and her staff EXCELLENT!! I don’t even feel like I’m in Arizona!! Go see Rancho La Candelaria!!Vegetarian options: Special order…“
“We were seated outside around 3-5pm, sunny but some flies were flying around. Waitress was polite, attended to our order, but did not charge appropriate prices. Food orders were done as requested, however pork belly tacos were 15% meat and the rest was pig fat/grease that did not taste great cold. Music was bumping and overall I’d give them another try.Kid-friendliness: Families are welcome“
“My favorite tacos in South phx. We always get pastor and birria, and flavor is always there, so i don't get all the bad reviews recently. I do agree that i miss the salsa bar, and that half a lime for 4 tacos sucks but the customer service is great.“
“When it comes to fast food Mexican this is the best available in the area. Bare in mind, this review is relative to the class of dining.Expect to spend $10-20 a person. Which is a bit steep for fast food, but I'd call this "premium" fast food and here is why, Federico's in Laveen has the ingredients to deliver high quality meals. They use traditional cuts and recipes (I believe Sonoran but I am unsure about that). They have so much potential, however, they lack consistency. We order from here frequently, but often we find something that's off or not up to quality. Most of the time it's the sauce, they seem to frequently forget ingredients (or possibly not mix it enough). Also, where is the limes?! I buy my own limes to squeeze on my carne asada burritos when I order from here. It would be great to have some included. All in all, from a relative standpoint Federico's earns a 4/5. Get the consistency down, drop the run down vibes, and give us limes! But, don't forget, it's still better then Filibertos.“
“This is a good place to share with people you love, the food is very good and they provide you with good service ☺️ I leave with a good taste in my mouth, I recommend it ? thank you Tortas el manantial ??Kid-friendliness: Children like the menu at this place, it is a pleasant and child-friendly place“
