“We had read about Bacanora and all the awards, and eating here did not disappoint. From the prawns to the cactus to the short rib, the food was excellent. Everything is cooked over an open flame in the restaurant and the atmosphere is wonderful. “Some places you visit once and forget. Tacos Rodriguez is not one of those places. I first came here with one of my best friends and we went all in — Carne Asada fries, Carne Asada tacos, the works. Everything was incredible. So when I found myself housesitting in the area, coming back was a no-brainer.

This time I kept it simple: a large Horchata and the Carne Asada burrito. Perfect decision. The burrito was packed, flavorful, and exactly what I remembered — the kind of food that earns a food truck a permanent spot in your rotation. And that Horchata? Honestly one of the better ones I’ve had.

The portions are generous, the price is right, the vibe is great, and the staff is genuinely friendly every single time. This place has consistency locked down, which is hard to find anywhere let alone at a food truck.

Tacos Rodriguez is the real deal. If you haven’t been, fix that.“

“I’ve always been a fan of Qdoba since I lived in WI. I drive from Maricopa to come eat here and every time I make the drive it’s worth it! Excellent service with very friendly staff. “Met my son here for lunch yesterday to celebrate his birthday. He told me the restaurant was highly recommended to him by friends. The food and service did not disappoint. Starting with the chips and salsa - the salsa was so good we bought extra to take home. He had the Enchilada Suizas with beef and I had Green Corn Tamales. His plate was so full he ended up taking part of it home for dinner. I ate most of my amazing tamales, only leaving a bite or two I just couldn't finish. Sooooo good. Probably the best green corn tamales I've had in a long time. The servers were pleasant and attentive. Overall, I'd happily make the drive from Tucson again. Thanks!“

“I used to be a laundry service person in 1981. For the first 6 years I was delivering the towels here. I got to have their food. Loved the food so much that even to this day we talk about the food.
We have lived in Texas for 39 years now and we still wish we could get the burros. We have been talking about a little vacation and your food would be a good destination. So glad that y'all are still in business.“

“I started eating lunches at Don Jose in 1966 while I was pregnant with my daughter. I ate there often because I worked nearby. As the years went by we ate there so many times the “original” staff knew us by name. When they closed down we were saddened, but were so happy when they sold the business (and recipes) and reopened. My daughter and family and almost every close friend I have continue to enjoy the great food, the family atmosphere, friendly staff and owners. I highly recommend Don Jose’. Best find of 1966 through today!!“

“We were attending a school carnival and Dr. Taco Therapy was a vendor. You ould smell the food across the field. Due to the event they had a limited menu but still a lot of good options. I ordered the Jamica and the birria ramen. Loved they brought their own salsa bar to the event. The Ramen had a lot of good quality meat. The jamica was very refreshing considering it was super hot out and not just a cup of ice with a little bit of drink. Id definitely come check them out i shared my food with my daugbter and she tried to take it from me so its kid approved for sure.
