We weren’t sure about stopping at this location at first. Google said “this place is open, you are close, and it’s rated well.” Pulling up it was DARK. And I mean itty bitty sign on the road wasn’t sure where I was turning into. But oh my goodness was my whole view about to change. We were greeted by staff before we even walked in the restaurant!! Based on the reviews, Cocina Madrigal is a very simple place with excellent food and service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The establishment offers both indoor seating and a perfect patio area. The food is amazing, with many highlights. The Bavarian cream churros are on another level, described as the best churros ever. The shrimp tacos, steak tacos, and trio tacos are all amazing. The steak quesadilla is fantastically made with a magical marinade, and the enchiladas have a sauce so good it is used for floating beans and rice. The Jamaica is amazing, and the beans are delicious with rich flavor. Though the food truck location can be tricky to find due to road construction, there are little signs leading the way. The experience is a solid 10/10, worth every penny, and the awards are well deserved.
