Everything was great as usual, but I have to say the loud music turn me off so badly. Wasn’t that way before. I don’t know if I can come back and eat in. But this is what this seems to be now let’s turn the music up so loud people can’t think much less have a conversation if their withsomeone or hear what someone says to them on their cell phone. I asked if they would mind turning it down and they were going to,but somehow never happened.”

They have two types of chai - sweet and spicy. I like to get a mix of both the sweet and spicy and it’s delicious.

They also have gluten free peanut butter cookies that are out of this world.

“I’ve been to Dennys from California all the way to Florida. This location is by far the best location I have been to ever. The server Tamea was absolutely perfect, gave us enough time to make our selections, but didn’t leave us sitting and waiting. The food was A++ Hot and not soaked in oil thank the cook Julian for that. Jill (the manager) was fun, cracked some jokes back and forth when we came in, you can tell the employees enjoy her as they were joking and having friendly conversations the entire time we were there. Would be 10 * if I could. Great staff, great service, and Great food!”

“A hard-to-get reservation worth waiting for!

I've tried many times to snag reservation when they are released each month. Luckily, we have amazing foodie friends who go often and have an in on cancelations.

Bacanora is located on Grand Avenue in Downtown Phoenix. It's an eclectic area with lots of interesting small businesses, murals on the walls, and stuffed animals hanging from the trees along the sidewalks. The restaurant itself is very intimate with only a few tables and some seats at the bar. The Sonoran inspired dishes come from the amazing creativity of Chef Rene Andrade...who won Best Chef - Southwest at the James Beard awards this year (doesn't make getting reservations any easier).

Everything is cooked over an open flame of a wood-fired grill. We let our friends, and foodie hosts, Brandon and Dana lead us through their favorite dishes... and we were not disappointed! We started with elite on the cob, guacamole, ceviche, and crude. With each dish we raved about how we couldn't believe each one could be better than the last. Everything was mouthwatering. The cocktails were unique and perfect as well. The kicker was our entree. The four of us shared the huge platter (not plate) of bone-in ribeye. It was cooked to perfection and accompanied by tortillas, quesadillas, beans, and blistered green chiles.Chiles. We walked out stuffed and high on good conversation and amazing food.”

“I wish I could give them 100 stars. By far my favorite “go-to” spot in Phoenix for a lunch break. The food is phenomenal, the staff are quite possibly the friendliest staff I’ve encountered in PHX, and I always leave looking forward to coming back for my next teriyaki bowl.

If you’re a PHX resident, driving through town, or on vacation, I highly recommend this spot for the best teriyaki in Phoenix by a long shot. 10/10.

Parking: Parking lot is medium. Not too small, just big enough. Some spots for parallel parking out front. I’ve been there at all times of the day that Blue Fin is open and I’ve never had an issue finding a spot.

I guess if it’s the worst case scenario, there’s always the public library directly across the street.

Kid-friendliness: Kids can be picky. If your kid can do rice and chicken, they’ll love it. Heck, even if they don’t like those things, Blue Fin will have something they’ll like.”

“First time visit, found it while reviewing other places. This day was a once in a lifetime experience that no other steak restaurant can equal. Order anything it will be perfectly made and unique in its own way . We were here on our wedding anniversary and surprised by a semi private room! There is no steak restaurant in the United States that can come close to their quality of food and chefs. If you go to another steak restaurant you will miss the best meal of your life and all the beautiful people that will help you and serve you. Missing this restaurant and going elsewhere is your mistake of a lifetime. If it costs millions and millions of dollars to eat here it’s worth double that. This is a once in a lifetime find. An oasis in Arizona that is worth a trip from the far reaches of the universe. I wish we were younger so we could have so many more perfectly delicious days in our lives to do it again and again. To all the staff and the guests it was a pleasure meeting you all and speaking with you through the meal. . This place deserves a rating of a million stars and more. It was a one day excursion to culinary bliss. We took home bags of food and look foward to a second dinner at home. From our hearts to yours. “If you’re looking for ice cream that exceeds your expectations, Novel is it. Quality in every bite, I was excited to try the ice cream I had heard so many great things about!

Ironically enough, when I sat down on the patio to enjoy my scoop, there was a couple visiting from the Netherlands. They started their trip to the US several weeks prior and tried Novel during their first few days.

They said it was *so good* they had to come back before their flight back home to Europe to eat the ice cream again!

“Finding a quality coffee shop that cares about their grind and pull can be difficult in the Phoenix area. I came across Case Study by chance this afternoon and it lived up to its current rating.
I ordered an oat milk cortado which was smooth, full of flavor and not burnt, acidic or bland. I can tell the barista cared about the grind and pull. Thank you!
The interior is clean, nicely kept up and has a nice modern charm to what appears to be somewhat "tired" surrounding buildings.
I didn't try any of the food, but the menu does look decently interesting. Pricing is comparable to other comparable coffee shops, although much more than you would expect.”
