“We went to Hilal grill for lunch. Place was clean and organized. Ambiance was great with very open space. We ordered many items from the menu. Lamb kahan and Chicken kabab were ok as those were more like tikkas than kebabs (kebabs are minced meat with spices). We also ordered samosas and those were ok, not as expected (like the one we get in India, but taste wise ok. Mutton Kadahi and Butter Chiken were good. “The place has got some good Desi food.The naan was fresh, warm and made in the most perfect way.Samosas are good but the vegetarian samosas are the best.Mantoo dumplings and the lamb shank were pretty good as well. “Great lunch I'm so glad I stumbled across Khyber Halal. This place is a local small Afghan restaurant with a good selection of dishes, and the portions are very generous. This was my first sampling of Afghan cuscine and everything was really very good. On this visit we shared the Chicken Kabob, Chicken Biryani, Uzbek Pulao and garlic naan. Everything was fresh, made to order, and so flavorful. The naan was fresh, warm, slightly crispy and made perfectly. The meat dishes had great flavor, the meat was moist/tender, and the plating was beautiful and the serving sizes is more than enough for two people. The staff felt like family. They were so friendly and kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. A must visit place for delicious food“
“Wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! This Indian cuisine is absolutely amazing!!! Had palak paneer, extra spicy. Sooo delicious. My brother in law is in town and was craving some, so we ordered from Star of India for the first time tonight! I’m sad I haven’t tried it before, but sooo glad I found it now! Preet, we’ll be back!! “This place literally has THE BEST samosas & I love all of their food I’ve tried. I recommend this place to everyone all the time. The only reason I’m giving four stars is bc this is the third time I’ve ordered delivery & they’ve forgotten my drinks. The first two times I called & they said I would be refunded, but I never got either of those refunds. I am hoping someone will see this & maybe pay closer attention to the drinks.“
