“If I could give more stars I would. I'm never disappointed when I come here. The dude is so friendly, I should know his name by now. I've tried every bagel sammie by now and all are delicious. I also don't gravitate towards smashed burgers but these are great! Don't get me started on the desserts too. Another plus is the monthly specials, they're always cooking up something new. Only negative is my lunch break makes hard to grab from their lunch menu but maybe they'll let me if I ask nicely at 1130, that's close enough right?“

“If you're looking for a great experience, go there! The food was wonderful and the service was good. It was a little hard to find as I was following someone, but it's just east of 32nd Street and Bell road about a quarter mile from the light on the north side of the street in a strip mall. There is a nice crystal shop Fantasia in the same place just 3 or 4 shops down from the restaurant.

“Incredible food and world class macarons, to be sure. One thing that can be said for Essence is that the food is wonderfully consistent, high quality, and reliably good.

But over the past 5 years, the service at the cafe has diverged in the opposite direction from the food. Servers are either overwhelmed, generally slow, or, as they were today, genuinely disinterested. Half of my order simply didn't arrive, including something as simple as a drip coffee. I mentioned to the server who brought my breakfast that I still hadn't gotten any coffee. Her response was that they were being made in order and left with no follow-up. By the time I had finished eating, I just went and got my money back.

It's the food that brings me back to Essence, but the inconsistency of the service is a huge drawback. I remember when it wasn't like this at Essence, and I wonder why things have changed. I want the old place back!“

“Excellent coffee, teas, and vegan munchies. Fun and imaginative drinks for any mood. Highly recommend trying any of their coffees or teas with their various flavored foams. The iced blueberry tea with blueberry foam is light, refreshing, and out of this world. Steep is also a warm and inviting place to come hang out and work. I am usually disappointed with vegan food offerings in coffee shops, but their breakfast sandy is delicious! The slaw in the sandy takes it over the top.“

“I’ve been vegan for almost 12 years. Slowly there have been restaurants that are plant based, but I’ve never found good vegan Mexican food, until now. A colleague and I ordered here and we’re absolutely amazed at how delicious and fresh it was!!! She’s carnivore and loved it. I’ve found a new favorite spot for sure!“

“Took my crime partner and our pup to OHSO paradise valley for Happy Hour/s!! Not only is OHSO the most dog friendly place in town they have a great craft beer selection. A lot of breweries are reluctant to serve anything but their own beer. Why? OHSO usually has about a 50/50 mix and it’s appreciated. Been into sour beers lately and have had a couple great “guest beers” there. They also mix up their own selections, not content to just sit on the same old same old. All the food has been good. We got the hummus and veggies for the first time and will get again when looking for something light. Crime Partner doesn’t care for beer but OHSO makes a great Mimosa, so bammmmm! And Pup gets her own bowl of water w/her name engraved (sharpy) free treats made from the spent grain and all the attention she can handle!!! BTW- I’ve never seen a dog fight here….a few hoomans, but never dogs! Check em out.“

“I've been coming here for almost a dozen years. The food never disappoints. Some of the servers come and go but some faces stay the same. Fritz will always be my favorite, and even when I don't get sat in his section, it makes me happy when he pretends like he remembers us. Some dishes change with the seasons, some stay year round because they're just amazing. The chef is meticulous with staging every dish that comes out and the taste is always on par with the aesthetic. We went for restaurant week this time and all the dishes were delicious. Even sitting next to a very loud annoying group couldn't ruin the enjoyment of my meal.“

I like this restaurant for these reasons:

1) The place is spotless and looks elite. I loved the washroom! The ambiance is very pleasing!

2) The quality is outstanding! I loved Veg. Kofta, the taste was excellent! My family ordered around six items, and the quantity was fantastic as per the price.

3) Last but not least, Amit and Dimple, the staff were very hospitable and polite. I liked their service. They were very patient and friendly!

“My husband and I visited Seasons 52 with family. They recommended it, saying Seasons 52 was one of the best places to eat in Scotsdale, Arizona. They were right! I ordered the wood-grilled filet mignon, and I cut it with my butter knife! That's how tender it was! Best steak I've ever eaten!“
