The pasties seem to come out a bit after opening, probably when the chef, who was there one day, delivered them. Loved everything we had on our first visit. Our second visit we had ice cream, which I did not like--more like shaved ice in terms of iciness, but my friend did still enjoy hers!“

“Stopped in on a whim and we were blown away! The entire menu is 100% VEGAN and everything we had was delicious!! The brussel sprouts were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The portobello pizza was so full of flavor! The drinks were perfect. The staff was so friendly and right on time with everything. We plan to make this a regular thing.“

“Ate here twice, getting the sweet and sour shrimp one time and the Malaysian chicken curry the second time. My traveling companion got the salt and pepper calamari and the tom yum shrimp - all of these were delicious and mimicked their "meat" counterparts superbly. “Second time I’ve been to this place, and I’m already craving to go back. We ordered the Veggie Gyoza, Spicy Udon Mein and HK Typhoon Style Claypot. These dishes were cooked and flavored flawlessly. I find that many restaurants don’t cook tofu well but Mifan has the best tofu I’ve ever had. I also enjoy the chill atmosphere, staff was nice and their food is very affordable. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Phoenix!“
“Excellent vegan spot! My brother and I were deciding on an all-vegan place to try (we are visiting from Metro Detroit), and we picked The Coronado. I’m glad we did! Food, drinks, and service were all fantastic. I liked the elevated but not over the top Mexican inspired food, and it was definitely different than other Mexican places. It isn’t just tacos, etc. the drinks were delicious and paired nicely. Highly recommend the flautas and chimichanga, I can’t decide which was better tbh. We also had the peanut butter chocolate cake and wow, it was so good! I don’t even like banana but it’s worth trying.It’s a very cute restaurant and it’s in an unsuspecting part of town. They also have brunch which looks super good. I am definitely coming back here when I have a chance. “Excellent coffee, teas, and vegan munchies. Fun and imaginative drinks for any mood. Highly recommend trying any of their coffees or teas with their various flavored foams. The iced blueberry tea with blueberry foam is light, refreshing, and out of this world. Steep is also a warm and inviting place to come hang out and work. I am usually disappointed with vegan food offerings in coffee shops, but their breakfast sandy is delicious! The slaw in the sandy takes it over the top.“
