“We checked in at 4:20 p.m. on a Saturday and were told by the hostess that it would be a 30-45 minute wait because they had started holding tables for dinner reservations. Several tables were empty, so it did not make sense why we couldn't be sat. After waiting approximately 15 minutes the hostess asked if we could be done by 6 p.m. since that is when the table was needed. We told the hostess we had two small children and were quick. We were finally sat. The service from the server was great. We noticed several tables were not bussed, and the table outside near the front of the business was not. It is not the visual appeal a restaurant should have. I shared my experience with the manager, Juan, who was so gracious and took responsibility. It seemed strange that a hostess would be turning away business like that when it was obvious people would be able to get in and out before the "6 p.m. reservation time." Besides the experience of checking in, the food and service were great. I am happy with how the manager, Juan, addressed my concern and trust that he handled it appropriately.“

“I don't understand why so many people are upset over their corn beef hash. No it is not from a store bought greasy can that almost appears to be dog chow (by the way I like it too). However! I found it good and fresh because it's home made. It is not fatty and stringy like most say, it is lean and shredded mixed with freshly fried potatoes. It's not full of sodium like the canned so you will probably have to season to taste. Hot sauce works for most, don't like it hot. A little salt and pepper is enough. I thought their pancakes where very good. Very airy, and good sized. Unlike many have written that they where to small. It is a bit on the pricey side, but I paid $13 for two filet O' fish sandwiches from M.D. So it's all a bit relative.

“Best Asian dishes I've had in too long. Instead of the usual fast food experience, each dish was actually prepared per order, was presented well and was flavorful. There's a small, clean dine-in area, and they were doing a brisk take out business. You won't be disappointed!“

My friend built his burger and asked for double patties. When it came, he said that if he'd known how big the patties were, then he would have ordered a single. But, it was so good that he ate the whole thing! We also ordered the stuffed jalapeño peppers as an appetizer. I ate two, but the others at my table said one was enough because they were spicy hot. They were hot, but they were very tasty!

(besides my fiance smothers it in A1 and butchers the real flavor) BUT I enjoy mine medium cook and always butter in your mouth delicious. We also recommend the calamari when available which last time it wasn't unfortunately.. and wash it all down with a strawberry daiquiri and couldn't ask for a better meal for dinner.“

Our server was very intent on making sure we were happy by asking about ingredients to add or substitute and how much dressing we wanted on our respective meals. The food was amazing and service was excellent. The restaurant was very clean and well kept. Love the Maine Root soda selections! This one is a “keeper” - we will be back.

“It's not a fancy place, but the food never disappoints. Chips are always fresh. The brushfire salsa is my go-to. Quesadilla with steak was delicious. The chicken dinner special was the perfect portion size (actually had leftovers). The spanish elote ? I highly recommend. Steak bowls, ordered as recommended, also delicious and the perfect size. Good bang for your buck in this economy.
