“We checked in at 4:20 p.m. on a Saturday and were told by the hostess that it would be a 30-45 minute wait because they had started holding tables for dinner reservations. Several tables were empty, so it did not make sense why we couldn't be sat. After waiting approximately 15 minutes the hostess asked if we could be done by 6 p.m. since that is when the table was needed. We told the hostess we had two small children and were quick. We were finally sat. The service from the server was great. We noticed several tables were not bussed, and the table outside near the front of the business was not. It is not the visual appeal a restaurant should have. I shared my experience with the manager, Juan, who was so gracious and took responsibility. It seemed strange that a hostess would be turning away business like that when it was obvious people would be able to get in and out before the "6 p.m. reservation time." Besides the experience of checking in, the food and service were great. I am happy with how the manager, Juan, addressed my concern and trust that he handled it appropriately.“

“Great selection of beers. The tap list rotates frequently, so there's always something new to try. Also a nice fridge with many beers/ciders in it that you can have them open. I haven't had any of the wine here but based on others who have, they seem to really enjoy it.They also let you bring in outside food/will call in an order for you to nearby restaurants which is cool.“

We had the meat lovers flatbread and then we had the buffalo chicken ranch because one flatbread just wasn't quite enough for two hungry people. I had the peach Mango seltzer which was quite refreshing after a very hot day. He had the Seth and the Beer Box (at the suggestion of the bartender) and while both were good he preferred the Beer Box (which just proves those who pour the drinks know what they're talking about).“

“We were there at 11 am today - Thursday June 6. The music was the perfect level. I could hear it but it didn’t stop any conversation. The menu is large and inventive. The portion sizes are huge. Everyone at our table of almost 20 loved their food. Brennan was the server for our half of our large table and he was amazing. A++ 100% for him. It’s tough to handle a large group and he was efficient and very nice. Not a bit of complaint when we wanted all separate checks. I’m glad our experience exceeded those of previous reviewers. I’ll be back!“

Until this big guy come up and tells my son and I that we need to keep our language at PG 13. Not sure what he meant by this. So I called him over to chat for a moment. He says we said something that offended someone. I have the upmost respect for servers and anyone in this establishment. Great people. We continue our chat and he tells me I’m 86 from this bar. The food is mediocre at best. I will say that the fish and chips on Friday night are great. I would like to talk to the owner of this bar to see what this guy really thinks he’s in charge of. We did nothing wrong. Except enjoy the place until he comes up and states his opinion. We come here at least 3 night a week. Totally out of line“

“It's not a fancy place, but the food never disappoints. Chips are always fresh. The brushfire salsa is my go-to. Quesadilla with steak was delicious. The chicken dinner special was the perfect portion size (actually had leftovers). The spanish elote ? I highly recommend. Steak bowls, ordered as recommended, also delicious and the perfect size. Good bang for your buck in this economy.

“Lakeside made upgrades which removed the lake theme. The blue floor was the best feature which is now covered up with brown flooring. Our table decided the new name should be Blanagans. Bland, bland, bland atmosphere. Now it is a standard sports bar. So sad.“
