“Haymaker has been our favorite local restaurant since we moved to AZ 6 years ago. When they moved across the street to their new location - it’s even more our favorite restaurant. The new location is bright, clean and airy. Food is the same great quality as their original menu. Breakfast for dinner is the best. Servers are friendly and very attentive. Braden is the best! “This place is a staple for us anytime we go out to Lake Pleasant. Honestly, even if we are not actually going to the lake, we will still go out of our way to stop here if we are even remotely close. It has become one of those places we just look forward to.
The burgers are great, and the service has always been really good every time we have been in. Everyone we have met there, from the staff to other people stopping in, has always been friendly and easygoing. It has a comfortable, local, lake-day kind of feel that makes you want to come back.
They have plenty of parking for boats and trailers, which makes it so much easier when you are coming from or heading to the lake. They also have outdoor seating, which is nice, but after a hot day out on Lake Pleasant, that cold AC inside feels amazing.
The place has been around for a long time, and you can tell it has a lot of history with the lake crowd. I also like looking at the pictures of all the nice catches over on the bait shop side. It is just a solid, dependable spot with good food, good service, and a great lake atmosphere.“

“5 star food service and atmosphere. Great menu choices for everyone including sushi not usually seen in a sports bar and even got to talk to the chef who is very informative as soon as we got there. A gentleman with a black cowboy hat said it was open seating. Suggested a few areas the waitress was there within seconds. It was busy because it was a Sunday afternoon games were on got the drinks fast and the food was served hot and in a reasonable time I would highly recommend this place. This was the first time we will be back.“

“We came with a party of 11 and had no problem getting seated even after being almost a half hour past our scheduled reservation time. They were kind enough to hold the table. Our server was excellent and we got all of our orders correct and pretty fast. All of the apps we had were delicious and servings for the main courses were cooked just the way we requested. It was fairly crowded but the noise level was low enough that we had no problems hearing each other from one end of the table to the other. The bar area has lots of TVs, but they are separate from the main dining area, so we didn’t hear them .“

“We are huuuge Biscuits Cafe fans and try to visit on a regular basis. Although this location isn't by our home base, we visit it on occasion. This visit we had Sydney who absolutely ROCKED the service to our table. The food was delicious and very timely for a Saturday morning. Everything I have ever eaten at Biscuits has been delicious - especially the jam. (If you know, you know.) Don't hesitate to stop here to eat. You will NOT leave hungry! Highly recommend.“
