Mercer's Restaurant is a fortunate discovery for Sun City residents, known for its delicious corn beef hash made in-house and not from a can. The menu also features thick cut bacon and perfectly cooked hash browns, as well as a highly recommended Reuben with lean meat, marble rye, and a side of thousand island dressing. The Friday soup is a standout homemade clam chowder. While the hot turkey and gravy with mashed potatoes can be a bit salty, the burgers have received positive feedback for their taste. The service is efficient, friendly, and attentive, and the atmosphere is enhanced by an older crowd, ensuring a peaceful dining experience. Plenty of parking is available.
