Each course features a couple of different options, ensuring there's something you'd like to eat. Usually with these types of restaurants there are multiple selections you don't want. They use a marscapone, so the cheese flavor is very mild.“

Every major city in the country has a restaurant like this, we are thrilled it’s now in our back yard and with a menu that changes with each season!!Chef Corey and team did not disappoint, from start to finish we were amazed at the creativity of the plates along with the creativity of the wine pairing that accompanied each course, which can be difficult to do at this level. For those that are into wine pairings and looking to elevate the experience, we highly recommend.It’s rare one leaves a tasting experience full, but my fiancé and I were comfortably satisfied with our 10 plate experience. Our flatbread took a few minutes too long due to kitchen error (we didn’t even notice that it was taking a while) and the manager comped a round of drinks and the flatbread. “Came here on a whim. Tried the hibiscus nonalcohol drink. Unique flavor, but to be honest was a little bit disappointed by how much ice was in the glass; it was filled to the brim with ice, so it really wasn't quite the beverage it could have been, having watered down rapidly. The meatballs with sauce & cheese were okay but slightly flat in taste and kind of reminded me of meatloaf. Therefore, I resolved to order the meatloaf for comparison, and at this point was pleasantly surprised by an absolutely delicious meatloaf, with a bit of crust. The brussel sprouts were fantastic, the best I've ever had, with what seemed to be a sprinkle of brown sugar that added to the flavor. Mashed potatoes completed the plate. The gravy was not overly heavy. Visually, this entree does not appear as colorfully as it tasted! I'd return to try something else. Service from Bre was wonderful.“

The fries were so good, I kept eating them even though I was full. The drinks looked great but we didn't get to try them. I have to come back some day if not only to try the PB&J Burger!Parking: A parking corral is on the other side of the adjacent building. We went at an unexpected peak time (3pm on Sunday). We still managed to luck out and find a spot in the shade.“

(2) Crab Cakes: Plump and fresh. I usually avoid seafood when not by the sea, but this proves that some desert spots still keep their seafood fare on point. (3) The Original Chopped Salad: It is large enough split and the ingredients/textures all balance wonderfully.Dessert: Banana Foster Bread Pudding - Disappointing. It was dense and lacked really any banana nuance. And it's extremely large for a dessert. I prefer simple and small for sweet bites with actual distinct flavor.Overall, I would absolutely return for their starters and mains. I would skip dessert and keep my drink simple (a gin fizz is not complicated, though) or perhaps just order from their cocktail list to ensure accurate delivery requirements. While tables are nicely spaced, as the evening wanes on it can get quite loud for conversation.“

After being here for 5 mins - I realized how eerily familiar it all was. It was because it's the sibling restaurant to my other favorite spot, The Macintosh. “My wife and I went to Virtu honest craft for date night and we absolutely loved this hidden gem located near old town Scottsdale. The mixed cocktails and wine selection here are outstanding! “Just had lunch at Karsen's Grill. We're visiting from SoCal, here for Spring Training. Walking around Old Town Scottsdale, we stumbled upon Karsen's, and while looking at the menu outside, a patron said, "This is our first time here, but the food is excellent." So, we went in. She was right!! I got the salmon Caesar salad-they 86'd the blackened for me, and my husband got the shrimp tacos, also minus the blackened. Excellent food, fabulous friendly servers! Sam and Rocky are the best!! If you are in Old Town Scottsdale, definitely hit Karsen's Grill for lunch before your game!“

I usually go there for breakfast or brunch, and the omelets, breakfast sandwiches, and skillets are all good. They have a wide variety of burgers, sandwiches, and dinners too.Parking: It’s in a strip mall with a Safeway and other businesses, so the parking lot is quite large.Kid-friendliness: It’s definitely kid-friendly, and even pet-friendly on the patio. Staff was great and accommodate us well they said food would take a minute which we expected but didn’t even feel like I did everything came out right our waitress was awesome so friends and patients with all parents and the kids. “This place. This chef!! OMGosh! I've gone to a few top restaurants in Phoenix/Scottsdale lately, some new, some old and I swear FnB is my favorite! Soooooo much flavor in everything we tried. The charred cauliflower was so amazing with peanuts and other spices as well as the brussel sprouts. I can't even explain the flavor of the brussel sprouts with curry, mint and coconut milk and cashews. No wonder they call the chef the "vegetable whisperer". It was literallly an explosion in your mouth! We also had chicken soup (not you Mom's chicken noodle soup) that was out of this world! It had rice, black grapes and dark chicken meat with some amazing spices and something that taste possibly like maple which is a phenomenal combination.
