“A delightful change of pace to the array of local fine dining establishments and experiences. An attentive staff, a boundlessly energetic chef and a creative approach not often seen outside the likes of major culinary markets. If you're looking for a down to earth approach to fine dining, with a lean towards exquisite cuisine and top notch service, done without excessive pomp and circumstance... this is your place.“
“Came here on a whim. Tried the hibiscus nonalcohol drink. Unique flavor, but to be honest was a little bit disappointed by how much ice was in the glass; it was filled to the brim with ice, so it really wasn't quite the beverage it could have been, having watered down rapidly. The meatballs with sauce & cheese were okay but slightly flat in taste and kind of reminded me of meatloaf. Therefore, I resolved to order the meatloaf for comparison, and at this point was pleasantly surprised by an absolutely delicious meatloaf, with a bit of crust. The brussel sprouts were fantastic, the best I've ever had, with what seemed to be a sprinkle of brown sugar that added to the flavor. Mashed potatoes completed the plate. The gravy was not overly heavy. Visually, this entree does not appear as colorfully as it tasted! I'd return to try something else. Service from Bre was wonderful.“
“Absolutely fantastic menu that does not disappoint! The service was excellent…..the venue itself stunning….but, most importantly, the salad and the diamanté pizza were both so original and beyond delicious!! If you have missed this gem, find it!! You’ll love it!!“
“This is the kind of place you need to return to multiple times, because there's no way to try everything in one go! We had the spicy Mac and cheese burger, the Tony Montana, and the Hot Dog. The fries were so good, I kept eating them even though I was full. The drinks looked great but we didn't get to try them. I have to come back some day if not only to try the PB&J Burger!Parking: A parking corral is on the other side of the adjacent building. We went at an unexpected peak time (3pm on Sunday). We still managed to luck out and find a spot in the shade.“
“We were referred here by an Uber driver related to the owner. The server was great, attentive and well informed in the food and history. He didn't steer us wrong on recommendations. They are known for their pastas which are home made! You can tell the difference between home made vs box. I had the ravioli lobster which the sauce was to die for. The gnocchi pesto is also home made which might be the best pesto we have ever had. You absolutely need to start off with famous pizzelle! The tiramisu is not your basic cake layers, this is unique and delicious. It's very nice inside, clean and welcoming.“
“There has NEVER been a time where I haven't had delicious food and incredible service. They treat you like family at Ravens and the food is ALWAYS amazing! I usually go for lunch because I work right next to it. Some of my favs are: Salsa and Guac Fried Pickles Caesar salad w/chicken“
“This is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to! The food was beyond divine! We came here with friends after spotting they had a separate vegan menu and I can’t fault the food, service or atmosphere. The staff were super helpful and friendly, attentive and eager to answer any questions we had about the food. The drinks were delicious and there’s something for everyone here. The food was next level! We shared the bottomless tortilla chips, had 2 vegan burritos and several cocktails. You must visit this amazing restaurant because it’s authentic and delicious! Also fellow vegans, you will not be disappointed. ?Vegetarian options: They have a separate vegan menuDietary restrictions: Vegan menu! ???Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor restaurant“
“Just had lunch at Karsen's Grill. We're visiting from SoCal, here for Spring Training. Walking around Old Town Scottsdale, we stumbled upon Karsen's, and while looking at the menu outside, a patron said, "This is our first time here, but the food is excellent." So, we went in. She was right!! I got the salmon Caesar salad-they 86'd the blackened for me, and my husband got the shrimp tacos, also minus the blackened. Excellent food, fabulous friendly servers! Sam and Rocky are the best!! If you are in Old Town Scottsdale, definitely hit Karsen's Grill for lunch before your game!“
“First, the service was friendly and helpful. The staff worked well together to make our dinner experience outstanding.I tried four entrees from our guests and even the appetizer of calamari was tasteful and prepared well. Wow! All was great and the sand sabs were the best. The ambiance was comfortable and WE WILL RETURN. I will share with all my friends and colleagues“
“Forno 301 is a weird one for me. I like it when a restaurant features a concise menu; in theory this means they put out higher quality food compared to when they try to do it all, you know what I mean? Salads, pastas, paninis, and pizzas. Keep it simple. Love it.I ordered the Forno 301 pizza, and to be honest, it didn’t knock my socks off. The center was completely soggy, but the rest of the crust was nice and crispy. The sauce was good and seasoned nicely, but the onion, mushroom, and sausage combo ended up being rather boring. Parmesan cheese was not offered for the pizzas or the pastas, and didn’t seem to be available, which felt like a letdown. I tried their gnocchi and I was less than impressed with the undersalted pesto. The bruschetta appetizer was the saddest looking bruschetta I’ve ever seen and not at all worthy of the price tag.As for the restaurant itself, it was loud, dark, and laid out in a very strange way. I guess that’s what you get when you buy an old fast food restaurant and cut corners on the renovation. The staff were friendly, but their archaic pen and paper ticketing system meant it was a pain to split our bill at the end of dinner. With the vast number of quality Italian restaurants across the valley, competition is stiff, and Forno 301 feels like a half-baked operation that left me wanting more.“
“We made reservations for 2 at the Village Tavern in Scottsdale on Resy to take advantage of the Amex Resy credit.Cocktails - inventive and strong and $2/off martinis on Saturday night!Food - Maryland crabcake - very soft, not over battered, very tasty. Side salad a bit salty.Beet salad was very good. Fresh butter lettuce, crisp beet, goat cheese. I only wish we got more beets!Entrees: prime rib dinner (8/10 - had better but for $30ish bucks a great deal)Prime rib sandwich with sweet potato fries (prime rib/bun was good)Dessert was a stellar (very tart) key lime pie.Service was efficient and friendly. All in all, a great dinner at non-Scottsdale prices! Highly recommend and would come again.“
“Forewarned - this place is super expensive. We did it once, but wouldn't go back. Experience is worth it, but probably more so for those who drink bourbon. We started with the jumbo shrimp cocktail ($10/piece). Then we went right into the main course - Filet and Rack of Lamb. Both were extremely good. We added lobster (+$75) to the Filet and a flambe to the lamb. I couldn't eat all of the lamb - 25oz. The next day's lunch was amazing :). And we had mashed for the side - a little bit too sweet. Wish the waiter had mentioned the additional cost, but that's what happens when you go to super expensive restaurants. It was an experience.“
“Stopped by this place before going to the Giants stadium for spring training. They said it was a 20 minute wait but we were able to get seated sooner. It was busy when we went but the service was fast and we got served quickly. Their coffee is good and we got water as well. The food was really good too, lots of options to choose from and lots of drinks as well. Definitely a place to check out in Scottsdale.“
“I have found a legitimate broker who has helped me in so many ways in the aspect of forex & cryptocurrency. At first, I was really skeptical that it won't work but I still kept the faith going until I saw a recommendation about Mrs Craig Vanessa who changed my financial status from grass to grace. Once again I'm really grateful for your help and support towards me and my family in this tough time of the year. “Great pizza and wings. You can order by the slice or get a whole pie. Staff were pleasant/friendly and professional. Really super vibe indoor and outdoor. They have a rewards program which is appealing. Pinball machines are a neat idea. Bonus for me is a 10 minute walk from my home. Night Owl AZ is a hoot!“
“Come here for happy hour and enjoy a culinary delight on a budget. Perhaps this review will become dated but I spent less than 50 dollars including tip on a great meal for two here during their happy hour. The burger was gigantic as was the quesadilla.“
“My dad heard about this place from a neighbor who raved about it so we took him here for lunch on a Saturday. It surprisingly wasn't very crowded on a weekend afternoon. We started with the calamari and octopus appetizers. Both were very good. I went with the Chilean Seabass and it was so tasty. My wife and dad liked their seafood linguine. Probably never would have checked this place out if it wasn't for my dad's neighbor. Glad we did.“
“What a cool little historic spot! First saloon in Scottsdale, definitely had that old southwest vibe going on. We got there at 11:00 when they opened and it was pretty packed. We were still able to get a spot at the bar. There was a band playing, which was cool to hear at that time of day. Lots of stuff around the walls to check out, including dollar bills posted all over the walls. They take the money and donate it to a children's hospital. I thought that was really awesome! The kitchen was super small, so just quick pub food like nachos and things like that. We didn't order any food, but the drinks were good. The biggest highlight were these cute chairs at the bar. Be sure to take a snapshot for your memory books!“
“This place is amazing. Glad I didn’t have to leave the hotel to find good food and good service. My server was nothing short of amazing. The entire staff is super kind Htet specifically. Knowledgeable as well. Will eat here even if I’m not staying at the hotel in the future !“
“What a great idea! The food was enjoyable and the popcorn was made without too much butter and salt. The chairs recline and the overall environment is pleasant and inviting. Fruit bowl was healthy and pretzel was soft and fresh, with multiple dips to choose from. The movie experience was enhanced due to the service and accommodations.“
“My favorite hotel in the Valley. Not a chain hotel but a charming, high end location with a history. Absolutely the best and they attract the most amazing, professional and helpful staff of anywhere I have ever been. The rooms are great and the bathrooms with shower and tub are top of the line. The salmon at ZuZu cannot be beat and the expresso martini is amazing.“
“If I could give them 10 stars I would! First of all, it was a complicated dinner with 50 people coming from around the world for a 90th birthday party, organized from out of town with no one in town to take charge. Hugh made this easy and painless and the food was amazing! They made several special request meals (gluten free, vegetarian) Entire family raved about the food, the service was outstanding, and the place was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better evening!“
“Good food, though service is super slow. Not many people on a Saturday night, but ... then again it's not convenient to find, park, etc. Pricing is high, as well. $24 for an old fashioned. $15+ for a glass of wine. $40+ for main course and all other food is al cart!“
“A gem of a bar to come to whether for the night or on a pit stop on the way into Old town Scottsdale. Friendly and decent service with a very large array of options for any type of drink you might like to have. Atmosphere is chilled and decor hip and fun - a great place overall!“
“Great service and atmosphere. The appetizers (beef anticuchos) were delicious and the sides generous in portion size. The adobo roast potatoes were unctuous and moorish. Only downside would be the tacos, which, although delicious, were overpriced in comparison to the other menu items. If you stick with the entrees, apps and sides, you won’t go wrong here. Plus the staff were all fantastic and friendly.“
“More than beats the hell out of waiting 5hrs for a puncture repair!! Wendie, the bartender, greeted me with a huge smile and kept my beer full. It's a fun, eclectic place, playing great music and it feels like you've walked into "Cheers", everybody is so friendly. Definitely recommend it if your just passing by, or looking for a great dive bar.“
“This was our first time going to this restaurant. We like to try new places and since it was near our son's house and got great reviews, we decided to try it. We were not disappointed. Somewhat fancy but not pretentious. Great atmosphere, service and food. If you want to splurge this is a great place.“
“Great dinner on the patio, they had heaters so we were comfortable on a chilly evening. The bartender served a perfect dirty martini it was the best I've had in a long time. I enjoyed the octopus appetizer. A huge portion, three large tentacles, delicious with a romesco sauce and small potatoes. My friends enjoyed the truffle fries which were hot and crispy. They split the burger which was very flavorful, cooked perfectly, and a homemade bun. I had the pomodoro pasta which was good but a tad dry. The chocolate torte was not too sweet and very chocolaty we loved all the food. The ambiance on the patio feels very quiet and secluded. Our server was also very good. Attentive at the right times and let us enjoy our meal without much interruption. I also left my jacket on the back of the chair and they kept it at host stand when I called the next day. I was impressed from start to finish with our experience and I'll definitely be returning.“
“The best time of year is when 50 shades creates their one of a kind Christmas pop-up. They combine the cool vibes of Snoop Dogg with the timeless elegance of Martha Stewart making a super fun and festive atmosphere. They have cocktails inspired by the iconic duo while surrounded by Christmas themed photos of the pair. Loved the unique blend of hip-hop and festive charm, highly recommend the experience.“
“Buddy and I had the best time celebrating New Years Day 2023 with the bartender , locals and owner. All great people. First time in Scottsdale, wont be my last and I will be stopping in Porters for a few!!! Wifey loved it too cuz it was like 4 hrs of free adult daycare while she got to shopping!!“
“It was a very good dinner and the wait staff was excellent. Yes, it is expensive, but it's Scottsdale so you know what you're getting. We bought the Chef's choice which included several plates. Spent around 200 with a 30 tip and four drinks. If you are looking to get stomach stuffed and a bit tipsy at a sub $100 bill, you'll probably be disappointed. This place is all about the taste. If you are looking to have a nice lil experience or take your significant other on a nice date with live music, this is a great time.I think the staff was the best part, I really did feel he tried his hardest to help us enjoy the time. For me, I am content with a Big Mac and conversation. For my date, she likes all the bougie stuff. Despite this, I'd say the cost was worth it for her happiness and the quality of the food. The music, nice area, food and amicable staff made it a very pleasant event. If you've got tons of disposable income, this could be a great spot for lunch, as they have lots of choices. If you are like me and just wanted to make a lady happy, it's a great spot for ambiance.“
“My family has booked on open table for TNDG for Easter and Mother's Day several times. The food, the view, and the service is exceptional. We've never had a problem with our reservations the manager gives us a call confirming the reservation a few days before. She's very friendly and accommodating. This year tables were sat at different times maybe they had less reservations than normal but it improved the flow at the buffet line, we did not stand in line waiting more then a minute on anything including the omelette station. Everyone is friendly and we never feel rushed.“
“We were visiting from Michigan for soccer and stopped in for dinner. Trish was SO friendly, as well as the waitstaff! The food was great and the portions were very generous. We had a couple of their vodka drinks, delicious! We even left with vodka to take back home. Thanks for a great first meal in Scottsdale. We will definitely be back when we are in the area!“

“Really cool little dive bar. The Christmas lights everywhere are something else and add another level to a night out. The bartenders are chill and prices are pretty fair for Scottsdale. They have a little food truck in the back with some pretty fair prices options as well.Parking: Tons of free parking available.“
“We have know Caramba’s since they opened their first restaurant in the West Valley. But it has been 8+ years since we have been to a store. We are part of a Taco Tuesday group. Every Tuesday around 12 of us get together to try a New Mexican restaurant. Last week was Caramba’s on Shea and Scottsdale.Wow. The food is still fantastic. Fresh made and served hot.We loved the atmosphere in this location. More like a restaurant. Less like a fast food cantina. And, the margaritas are “off the chain” delicious and pack a punch! We all agreed that Caramba’s is one of our favorites TT restaurants so far. The value for money, food quality, TT specials, and delicious margaritas all conspired to win us over.We have tried over 50 restaurants in the North valley, so we have a pretty good knowledge of what “good” looks like in a TT restaurant.Great job Caramba’s!!“
“We have been meaning to try this place for decades but always forget about it. We finally made it in and are glad we did. The environment is super chill and very western. Definitely want to come back to see a band in this setting. The food was much better than I expected. Ribs were a huge hit, soft, and fell apart nicely. The chipotle sauce had a great flavor but wasn't spicy. Just wish it came with some sides like it is pictured online. The cheeseburger was just ok. Not a thin patty but not thick and meaty either. Unfortunately, they won't cook it below medium as I prefer, but they didn't overcook it as the middle was still pink. Again, there are no sides as everything is al a carte. Highly recommend their sweet potato fries. Service was polite, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. We enjoyed our our meal. They also have some fun and humorous Handlebar J branded shirts and merchandise.“
“We walked here from our Airbnb on a Saturday evening and it was pretty empty. Staff and other patrons were all friendly. Great local place for reasonably priced drinks and free pool and darts if you’re looking for a low-key place to hang out with friends.“
“I visit Scottsdale every year and almost famous is always a good time and a great vibe. The bartender Angel is the sweetest person and always makes sure I’m well taken care of, always serves with a smile. If you’re in the old town area check them out and ask for Angel!“
“Awesome dive bar! We came for breakfast and some drinks and were not disappointed! The chicken fried streak was excellent!! Sorry picture was with it half eaten... it was too good! They also have some homemade hot sauce that is great. Tons of large tvs... excellent place to watch sports. Bartender was super “
“The hope was that this would be the neighborhood spot..its surrounded by over priced pretentious places. It started well but ownership seems to have abandoned it. Some issues: 1) a pint, ON TAP, is 8,9,10,11 dollars! wth? Happy hour still brings the price down to outrageous. You can get the same beer much cheaper close by. 2) HH used to be until 8...reduced to 7. 3) needs repairs....especially the bathrooms 4) get some great staff but can't keep them Lets get back on track WP or sell?“
“Best bar ever and thats because of the waiters and all the other staff there that make you have a great time always attending your needs we got a Pamela(dont remember last name something witha G) as a waiter and she was awesome during our whole “
“I asked for a recommendation, and my waiter said to go with the chicken parm. It was a pretty decent chicken parm. It cost $22 so, price-wise, I'd say it's comparable to Olive Garden, but you're getting a way higher quality of food at North Italia. The servers there like to talk amongst themselves a lot so getting my water filled up was kind of a struggle. The ambiance was very pretty and very nice. 8/10, good job yall!“
“Stayed across the street for 2 days and ate here both days! Delicious food, awesome service/wait staff, clean and great music! The food was so fresh. Best sushi we have ever had and so many fun types of rolls. (Got the crispy California roll-wish we would have tried others!!) Also had teriyaki chicken, orange chicken and the crab rangoons. Don't give this place another thought! YUM!!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp“
“Sonya is the greatest hospitality driven bartender I've encountered. The place is absolutely topnotch and it's Greatest watering hole this side of the Mississippi. I an absolutely delighted to return. Thank you Sonya for being the best!“
“Giligan's atmosphere is very dive bar but designer. It's funky space is filled from top to bottom with eye catching and old times decor. Visited 3/14/24 after a long day of work. We went during happy hour and they have good options the drinks are definitely doing their job and are not watered down or lightly poured, we had the starwberry margarita. The food I will be so honest is just bar food. Nothing crazy so if you're expecting 5 star you'll be very disappointed. This place truly embraces the neighborhood bar vibes and if you want a true feel of Arziona comfort this is where you want to drink!Special shout out to the solo male bartender yesterday there were about 40 or more partens in the bar and he was SERVING!!!!!!!!“
“Love this resort and everything they offer. The pools amazing the kids would spend all day and evening there if allowed. Located in the heart of Scottsdale. They offer a shuttle to shopping right in Kierland and the best restaurants in Arizona surround this place. The beds are extremely comfortable after a long day. They offer room service, pool dining and restaurants on site for the ones that choose to stay on site. This is a top go to for our family.“
“THIS IS THE PLACE! Alex is the most phenomenal bartender that took care of us and made the best conversation!! If you're looking for the perfect night cap spot THIS IS IT! If I could roll out a sleeping bag and stay the night I would Perfect chill + vibey spot for night tops or caps!!!“
“Stopped in for a quick drink after some bowling with friends and this was a very nice spot pretty spacious very clean and service was pretty fast. My only complaint is that this business is strictly money only they do not take any cards but they do have a ATM on site.“
“First time here and it was phenomenal. Veda was amazing. We went for our 10 year anniversary and everything about the experience was perfect. We will be back for sure. Had the Calamari and the light batter with the baby corn was so good. The French onion soup was so flavorful too. We had the prime rib and the rib eye. The prime rib has to be one of the best I've ever had.“
