“I would recommend everything about this restaurant. Your experience starts with the staff at the front, everyone is on point and attentive. I didn’t see a single time that the wait and floor staff left the area without seeking eye contact from other diners. Then ….. the kitchen. Watching during a mid-service rush, you will see the calm energy that only comes from a great team culture. Everyone focused on each and every detail. Nothing goes out that doesn’t meet the team’s high standards. This kind of brigade can only come from one thing. The Chef….. Cory Oppold has always led by example. He showed everyone how deep his character was during the “Sack Lunch” and In-Home dining year. I don’t think there is anyone I would rather work beside in a kitchen than Chef Cory. The Food…… Every component adding to the story… some whispers, some screams…… taunting, flirting, enticing the culinary listener to turn the page in anticipation. “We stop by when we are in Scottsdale. Came in on a random Wednesday (7/9) afternoon, and to our delight the fabulous Patrick James Jr. was performing great country covers. There was a small crowd in the bar. The bartender (sorry, didn’t catch his name) was friendly and efficient. Seemed to be having a great time with his customers. We overheard him talking about the vault behind the bar. I love the decor, and the seating is comfortable. I’m sure it’s impossible to get a seat on Friday or Saturdays though! We only grabbed a drink here, so I can’t speak on the food. For the music, vibe and bartender, 10/10. We will visit again next time in Scottsdale!“

“Although I have dined here on many occasions with no complaints,the service was poor.Me entire was brought well before I finished my appetizer.I didn't see my server and had to ask the hostess to have my water glass refilled.My mussels appetizer left my hands greasy and stained and I had to ask for a wet towel or something else to clean my hands so that I could access my wallet to settle my bill.Sort of a self serve dinner!l am returning in two weeks with 8guests and hope for better service.Also no one expressed disappointment in the service when it was called to their attention“

Stopped in for a Tuesday nightcap and was greeted so warmly. Sat at the bar just looking for a drink and was blessed by her presence and genuine personality. I typically read while I have my evening sip but found myself enjoying the music and her company. She took the time to have an authentic conversation, which I find rare living in New York.

Working in luxury retail has taught me the importance of hospitality over service. Hailey delivered authentic hospitality. She listened to me complain about the lack of water in my hotel and sent me home with a cup of water.

Truly enjoyed my time and above all, enjoyed getting to chat with someone who made me feel so welcomed. Looking forward to visiting on my next trip.“

“I typically don’t go to Mexican restaurants, as I really don’t like them. My friend drug me there and I went back again the next day. The shrimp tacos are to die for. I could eat them everyday. Even the chips and salsa was the best of any restaurant I’ve been to. I wish they had one here in Illinois! If I go back to Scottsdale, I’m going straight there to eat! “Pub Rock is a KC Chiefs bar, but they are so friendly and accommodating, that I (a HUGH Buffalo Bills fan ❤️🦬💙) have made this my local spot to come for Happy Hours, Karaoke, and even NFL games. Such a fun crowd of people and awesome live music during the week and in the weekends.“

“It was very fun tasting a variety of scotch. The ambiance was interesting and the man who did the tasting was amusing. I had previously done it with a host named Guy who wore a kilt and it was more entertaining. I thought they had snacks/food we could order, but did not, which was disappointing because this was a birthday celebration. Upon request, the host brought out some nuts,,,and we grabbed a burger afterwards. Overall....if you are looking for a unique experience and are a scotch lover....this is a good choice.“

“My husband and I were here 4 years ago and enjoyed it so much, we had to stop by again on our recent trip even though we stayed at a different resort. This is one of our favorite lobby bars for the atmosphere and the drinks. This time we had an awesome bartender Zack who even made me my favorite drink from 4 years ago that’s no longer on menu. We enjoyed his drinks and conversation so much we even went back after dinner for more. The cocktails are sophisticated and the bar is such a great place to sit and chat with the bartenders. Zack is super knowledgeable of cocktails and can make you drinks you’ve never even heard of! If you’re in Scottsdale, whether you stay at Phoenician or not, I highly recommend dropping by for a cocktail or two. The experience made our night!“
