“Super. Visiting from out of town. Old school NY or Chicago feel. Attentive wait staff, nicely timed. Had prosciutto w/ melon; the papparadelle special and the oricchelle elephante (sp). The latter veal dish was superb. Wish I could return tomorrow for breakfast and lunch and and and.zz“
“Absolutely fantastic menu that does not disappoint! The service was excellent…..the venue itself stunning….but, most importantly, the salad and the diamanté pizza were both so original and beyond delicious!! If you have missed this gem, find it!! You’ll love it!!“
“Came here after a week of traveling in Scottsdale. This was by far the best experience my companions and I have had while dining out. The Penne Vodka Pasta was superb. Our server Richard, was very attentive and made our experience here amazing. The staff seemed to genuinely care about our experience and the food was amazing. If I could give this 10 stars I would!“
“Tatum was our server & she was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I have HARDLY ever had such great food and wonderful drinks. Wine, beer, panini , bruschetta….I could go on & on. Such a memorable experience with friends on vacation!!!! THIS WILL BE A REGULAR SPOT FOR US!!!!!! You gotta come!!!!“
“We were referred here by an Uber driver related to the owner. The server was great, attentive and well informed in the food and history. He didn't steer us wrong on recommendations. They are known for their pastas which are home made! You can tell the difference between home made vs box. I had the ravioli lobster which the sauce was to die for. The gnocchi pesto is also home made which might be the best pesto we have ever had. You absolutely need to start off with famous pizzelle! The tiramisu is not your basic cake layers, this is unique and delicious. It's very nice inside, clean and welcoming.“
“It was my 73rd birthday, and our reservation was at 445 pm. When we arrived, the hostess was obviously annoyed. She was constantly checking her watch. While we were waiting to check in, several more parties arrived, and the reception area became congested. When she returned, she curtly announced that she first would check all the parties in and then seat them afterward. Quite an awkward arrangement. However, when she finally began seating, as we had been the first to check in, we were escorted to a tiny table (end table size) in the back of the dining room. It was the only tiny table in the entire dining room, and there was clearly insufficient area to necessary to serve a meal. Subsequent parties of two were seated at larger tables. The tab for our meal was $300. The food was superb, spoiled only by being so cramped that dishes needed to be stacked in order to fit on the tiny table. My advice... refuse the tiny table. The Italian Daughter should be ashamed“
“Enjoyed another meal with my wife on her Birthday. Summer the hostess so kindly placed roses on our table for my dear wife. Nico our server was very engaging, recommended a few entries, appetizers and wine. Nico and Manny the manager took great care to ensure our shell fish allergies were surely and properly dealt with. And they were.“
“If you enjoy fantastic Italian food, then Arrivederci Restorante is the place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere and the food. If you enjoy wine with your meal then there is a list of favorites you can choose from. Don't expect to be rushed because their food is to be savored .“
“Perfect place if you’re looking for a cute intimate dinner spot with good food. We had the Caprese salad, Homemade Pesto Alfredo with Chicken, and a couple of cocktails. Everything was delicious! The staff was also very kind and attentive.“
“Forno 301 is a weird one for me. I like it when a restaurant features a concise menu; in theory this means they put out higher quality food compared to when they try to do it all, you know what I mean? Salads, pastas, paninis, and pizzas. Keep it simple. Love it.I ordered the Forno 301 pizza, and to be honest, it didn’t knock my socks off. The center was completely soggy, but the rest of the crust was nice and crispy. The sauce was good and seasoned nicely, but the onion, mushroom, and sausage combo ended up being rather boring. Parmesan cheese was not offered for the pizzas or the pastas, and didn’t seem to be available, which felt like a letdown. I tried their gnocchi and I was less than impressed with the undersalted pesto. The bruschetta appetizer was the saddest looking bruschetta I’ve ever seen and not at all worthy of the price tag.As for the restaurant itself, it was loud, dark, and laid out in a very strange way. I guess that’s what you get when you buy an old fast food restaurant and cut corners on the renovation. The staff were friendly, but their archaic pen and paper ticketing system meant it was a pain to split our bill at the end of dinner. With the vast number of quality Italian restaurants across the valley, competition is stiff, and Forno 301 feels like a half-baked operation that left me wanting more.“
“Dinner was fabulous, and our server, Hunter, was amazing! This was our first visit and we had lots of questions. Hunter answered each one with ease and a smile, and even consulted with the head chef for us a couple of times. My husband and our friends had the evening's special, Grouper, and the fish and chips, and I had the Prawn Spaghetti. All of the food was superb! We topped it all off with the skillet brownie, key lime pie, and cheese cake. These desserts were awesome. In addition, it began to rain before we were finished eating. Hunter and the manager were very quick to re-seat us comfortably indoors even though the restaurant was full. We live in the East Valley, so the restaurant is a little out of our way, but despite this we will definitely return very soon.“
“My friend and I came here just at the tail end of the lunch rush, which is a good time because there was enough seating for us to make a choice. The place had a cozy, typical Italian salumeria ambiance. We ordered the beef carpaccio over green salad, the caffe crema, a Cosa Nostra sandwich, and a limoncello tiramisu. All were very good and the cafe crema and tiramixu were very rich and sweetened just right. Service was good, though it took a while for our food items to arrive. The savory items were reasonably priced, especially considering the quality, but the sweet items were rather pricey, considering the quantity.“
“This place is amazing! Grabbed lunch with my friend and this place did not disappoint. Patio sitting is perfect, there are heaters if you are a chilly gal, intimate sitting, great music and amazing waiters! The bruschetta was 9/10 we got the CHOOSE 4, smoked salmon & pesto, Mexican street corn, sweet n spicy pepper jam & goat cheese (SURPRISINGLY DELICIOUS), and burrata bacon arugula & tomato. All were pretty good! I could eat MORE. Great place for big groups as well.“
“We were visiting Scottsdale and I wanted Italian food. I found Sophia's Kitchen on Google, it had good reviews so we gave it a try.White Russian - EXCELLENTGarlic Knots -EXCELLENTAlfredo- EXCELLENTPizza, pepperoni/sausage - EXCELLENTService - EXCELLENTAtmosphere - EXCELLENTWe HIGHLY recommend Sophia's Kitchen ?“
“What can I say!?! I'm an Italian girl from Chicago! What's not to love?? Seriously though..the food is absolutely delicious and the people are so warm, welcoming and friendly. The price is right too! We always walk out with our arms full of goodies. We walked in and immediately loved being there. I wish my father was alive because I know he'd love it too. We can't wait to dine outside... that's our next plan when we visit Guido's!“
“Ate here before covid just returned to try it again and took our family visiting. it was so good we went back next night. jacob was our waiter and what a joy he was. he made the night with his service and personality. hope someday he will be able to serve also. we just can't stop talking about how absolutely great and perfect our food was. our kids travel all over the country and says they can hardly wait to come back for dinner. they also left a review i“
“I love small family owned and run deli's like this one, and this one didn't disappoint. The ladies working behind the counter were great. Very friendly and helpful. I had the meatball sub and it was very tasty. The bread is delicious. My buddy had a turkey sub and he said it was great. The prices are very reasonable. The decor is a little dated but don't let that fool you because the food is really good and the service with a smile was awesome. Would definitely go again if ever in the area.“
“My dad heard about this place from a neighbor who raved about it so we took him here for lunch on a Saturday. It surprisingly wasn't very crowded on a weekend afternoon. We started with the calamari and octopus appetizers. Both were very good. I went with the Chilean Seabass and it was so tasty. My wife and dad liked their seafood linguine. Probably never would have checked this place out if it wasn't for my dad's neighbor. Glad we did.“
“The most authentic Italian food in Phoenix!Haven’t tasted this level of pasta in years! The restaurant is quite basic - and exemplifies the food as to fundamental beginnings - all natural and organic! The temperature which often is forgotten with food served cold - proves the professional approach of the chef working diligently in the back!!Kudos!!So very refreshing finding this gem in the desert!!“
“WOW wife and I went here on a random date and AMAZING, best Italian food I’ve ever had in my life. Everything made from scratch true authentic Italian food we will definitely be back Laylani the hostess was great. Thomas the manager was phenomenal. Thank you for your service.“
“The food was amazing! The servers were friendly and helpful. Came here on a Thursday night and there was ample parking. For appetizer, our table shared the house pulled mozzerella and a special for the night, the Rhode Island style fried Calimari. I had the pappardelle bolognese with a glass of chianti for dinner. My fellow diners had the spicy rigatoni and the chicken parmigiana, and they all raved about their food as well. The portions sizes are healthy too. Will come back here again for sure.“
“Our favorite place since moving to Scottsdale! Authentic, charming interior, classy and the food is amazingly delicious! The Management and staff set the tone for the experience of dining here. Rentu (spelling ?) the General Manager delightful and personable and Cody our server for Christmas Eve dinner, superb. 5 stars all the way!“
“We had dinner here on a Monday night to celebrate an anniversary. The food was delicious, the homemade noodles were phenomenal. Truly the best fettuccine I have ever had. Staff was kind and patient while I took forever to decide. My only regret is not grabbing a cocktail!“
“I really hesitated between a three and a four star... the food is good and the service was spot on. We liked the choices on the small menu. The heavy metal music in the side room was unpleasant and the atmosphere is definitely lacking. Especially the entrance which is austere to say the least. The prices really are high, with $52 for the Steak Frites. $35 would have been more in line. Overall good experience but we will not be adding this place to our regular rotation and we would opt for other choices when we have out-of-town guests. This does not bode well for longevity once the newness wears off.“
“Great service - thanks, Emma! Pizza, chicken parm & spaghetti with marinara were all good to very good. Chicken parm needs to be plated so that all the chicken has cheese on it, but 1/3 of the chicken had no cheese, and the chicken was a little dry. I especially liked the Sicilian pizza and would order that again. We also tried the Meat Lover's pizza. I wasn't a fan of the Cesar salad dressing, but it was ok. The fried zucchini was good. The calamari was extremely rubbery, not crisp enough, and the garlic red pepper it was topped with was overwhelming. I think the men at our table ate it to be polite. We had Church Music beers on tap & Kilt Lifter in a bottle. The beer was nice and cold.“
“My husband and I love this place . Everything from the salads, meatballs, pizza, soup is all very good . We travel to AZ very often to watch our daughter play softball. I am very sad and disappointed though. I had a pair of AirPod pros that had fallen out of my purse about a month ago . I didn’t realize this . I pushed the find my device and it said they were at Pomos . Two young men said ohh ya we have them they have been here forever . They descried them to me . I said yes those are mine . Then upon getting them out of the bin discovered they were no longer there . Sad that employees are the only ones with access to lost items therefore it had to be an employee take them . They were a gift from my husband so makes me very sad and disappointed.“
“First time here and we were impressed with the food! Pizza was simple, but very tasty. Meatballs and sauce was delicious! Gelato was the best ever! Only negative, in our opinion, was the ambience; it was not too comfy…kinda cafeteria feel. Will definitely be back to try something else on the menu.“
“Four of us ate here 2 days ago. We sat at the bar, and the bartender, Eli, was gracious, funny, and attentive. The food was wonderful. The lasagna was awesome. It had the right amount of meat and sause. Many places have started putting in more vegetables recently, and that's a shame. I had a fish dish, and it was excellent, too.“
“The food , wait staff, cook, owner …. Can’t say a bad thing about any of it ! Bring your own bottle or two of wine is a great idea !! I have tried multiple items on the menu. Love them all. Desserts are home made !! Everything is so good !!“
“Excellent. Food is great and the service is spectacular. Everyone is so incredibly friendly.Vegetarian options: Plant basedDietary restrictions: They knew immediately about ingredients. I felt confident about their knowledge and that it was safe to eat here. (Have some severe allergies.)Parking: Parking lot is just south of the building“
“This little resto is a gem that takes you away to the Old World of Europe. Olivier is a charming host who makes your dining experience extra special. you must have the tiramisu - its at least as good as my favorite I had many many years ago in Milan. and the Beef Burgundy was gorgeous. even the bread and olive oil before dinner was divine. lI imagine anything you have on the menu would be a memorable delight.“
“I can't believe that I am seeing any bad reviews on this wonderful restaurant. Seeing that compelled me to say how wonderful it was for me and my wife. We sat at the bar, met a few locals, laughed and ate great food. Service and ambiance was a 10++. I'm going to eat here every time I'm in East Scottsdale. Great place...“
“I wish I could eat here everyday! The Valentina is by far my favorite pizza. Sweet and spicy!! We come here for special dinners with the family and everyone always leaves so happy. We came last week for me and my son's birthday dinner. Everything was perfect!“
“Had family staying at the Boulders where we ate at the Grill Rest. They drove pass your Restaurant and made reservations. The food & service was unbelievable. We live 32 miles away and will definitely return.Vegetarian options: Food was superb as was the service....Parking: Just off Scottsdale Rd. very convenient.“
“So far haven't got past the pizza, bruschetta and Mediterranean salad. Relaxed environment with and open kitchen and good staff, great management (helps the staff when needed). This is my go to spot before hitting a movie. Will keep coming back!“
“I haven’t had such a good meal in a long time! We started with a bottle of wine and the salmon bruschetta. My husband normally hates tomatoes and these had him searching them out. Then I had the tagliatelle and he had the risotto. Both of which were superb. Only regret is we discovered this gem on our last night of vacation.“
“Love this local Italian inspired coffee shop beskoke market and wine bar.Stopped in for some mountain views , cappachino and herbal tea . We also split a warmed up bluberry muffin that had a slight sweetened crunch on the outside and filled with warm abundant bluberries in the middle. Would come here just for their muffins. Delicious!!! We also met Hera the owner who has Brazillian roots and grew up in the Amalfi coast. Asked if she had something saw on IG on the menu and she told us all about her dinner specials. They sounded so appetizing we actually decided to return for dinner tonight. Hera opened less than a year ago and the coffee shop has a cool vibe with jazzy music and the mountains up the road so could not resist coming in. So lucky found this little gem in the Scottsdale area from Yelp .“
“This is a 6 out of 5 restaurant. My wife and I frequent a lot of places in the area and The Americano out-classed the majority of them. The service was phenomenal; thank you for the delightful evening Olympia! The pasta and ravioli were perfectly cooked; the oysters and appetizers were fast and fresh. The atmosphere is modern upscale chic making it a comfortably intimate dinner for couples and friends. Would highly recommend for dates, or an upscaled dinner with people you love.“
“We have visited here twice now, and the first experience was incredible. Stellar food, service, drinks loved it all, and have consistently told people how much we enjoyed it. Went our second time this evening for our second anniversary, and have to say was very disappointed overall. Started off well, we arrived a bit early for our reservation so we had a drink at the bar while we waited, and the bartender brought us glasses of prosecco for our anniversary which was a thoughtful touch. Once we were seated things went downhill. I had to ask twice for bread for our table which ended up coming the same time as my husband's meal. MY meal was twenty minutes AFTER his. (and I did check my clock on my phone to time it) He finally had to sit and eat without me so it wouldn't go cold. Waiter finally came by and said he inadvertently put mine in as a second course which honestly sounds like an excuse for he simply forgot. I ordered the veal chop special of the night which was $75. It was supposed to be cooked medium, but was much closer medium rare or almost rare, which I assume iscbecause they were rushing it after forgetting to put it in for twenty minutes. Also, I understand it's a fattier cut of meat; however, it seemed to have more than it's share of fat,and was disappointed in the dish itself. The waiter did offer us a free lemoncello they make in house (which we declined) but considering my meal was $75, it really isn't much of an apology offering. He did bring us a few biscotti cookies after and did apologize again, but the sincerity in the tone quite simply wasn't there; it felt artificial and by that point I was just ready to leave. Was our experience terrible? No, but it was certainly not up to the standards we expect from a higher end restaurant we are dropping a couple hundred dollars on between drinks and meals. I really hope perhaps it was simply an off night. Compliments to the bartenders they were very pleasant and the higher point of the evening. Our first experience was five stars, second was three, at best, so am being generous and splitting the difference at four stars. We couldn't wait to go back, but now we may stop and think before we do so again soon.“
“I absolutely love this place. The food is always on point. I just went in today and had the Il Purista sandwich. I ended up eating half of it there and then the rest for dinner at home. The bread is great, fresh mozzarella and peppers are just perfect. Can’t wait to come back again.“
“Great dinner on the patio, they had heaters so we were comfortable on a chilly evening. The bartender served a perfect dirty martini it was the best I've had in a long time. I enjoyed the octopus appetizer. A huge portion, three large tentacles, delicious with a romesco sauce and small potatoes. My friends enjoyed the truffle fries which were hot and crispy. They split the burger which was very flavorful, cooked perfectly, and a homemade bun. I had the pomodoro pasta which was good but a tad dry. The chocolate torte was not too sweet and very chocolaty we loved all the food. The ambiance on the patio feels very quiet and secluded. Our server was also very good. Attentive at the right times and let us enjoy our meal without much interruption. I also left my jacket on the back of the chair and they kept it at host stand when I called the next day. I was impressed from start to finish with our experience and I'll definitely be returning.“
“Best sandwich in Phoenix! A co-worker recently recommended Rinaldi's and this will now be my "go to" spot for lunch. Got the toasted Italian w/ giardiniera and it was a 10/10. Added a side of Mac salad and it made for a perfect lunch. The service was incredible and the atmosphere was fantastic. Can't recommend Rinaldi's enough and I can't wait to go back.“
“We stopped here on a whim before going to the aquarium. What a great decision. Friendly & attentive service from Daiyah (?) at the bar. We ordered the meatball sandwich & the Italian Beef sandwich. Both were served hot, bread was nicely crunchy, & both were very flavorful.“
“Stopped by for brunch after our original choice had too long of a wait. We were seated right away on the patio. Our food was very high quality and phenomenal! The food was flavored perfectly and not over done up like some other popular brunch joints. Glad to have decided to try this place. The breakfast sandwich was amazing!“
“A little restaurant tucked into a corner of a strip mall location at 100th street and Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd. Initially it took a long time for our waiter to come over to take our order, but once the order was placed the food came out very quickly and was good. Price was ok.“
“The pizza is to die, for it is the best I have had ever organic ingredients very light very fresh and there are many different options Perfect for everyone everyone there is super friendly and it is very Well, decorated inside I do not have a single complaint and if anybody is in the area, I definitely recommend I drove an hour to get here and it was worth it“
“Im from Chicago. I know Pizza! This Rosati's serves excellent Pizza as well as the Service was excellent! Tasted Quality and Pride in ownership. Almost every inch covered with sausage! Delicious sauce and cheese!Very nice pleasant people.I am Happy Happy Happy!!!“
“I was honestly extremely skeptical but wanted a meatball sub so we came here. We asked to split everything we ordered and I didn't expect them to split it for us. Service was fantastic and the food was amazing and super fast! Highly suggest you give this place a “
“I'm not usually a big fan of Barro's, but this pizza was not nearly as saucy as I've experienced at these other locations. I had the lunch special of a slice of pepperoni and the salad bar. Great service, good prices, and decent food. The restaurant was clean and busy.“
“DELICIOUS FOOD! Great place to meet up with friends and family for an amazing dinner. Everyone is very nice and personable. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for authentic, delicious, Italian food in Arizona. Won't disappoint!“
