“Giordanos offers a more upscale dining experience than most Cave Creek restaurants and a well trained staff. Salads were fresh and larger than many restaurant salads. A stuffed clam appetizer was well seasoned but the accompanying sauce was unusual and a little heavy. We really enjoyed the Calamari pasta in a white wine sauce, but thought the clam pasta (also in a white wine sauce) was over ly seasoned. Both pastas were perfectly al dente. The Vitello (with pasta) was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Given the larger portion sizes only a smaller dessert was possible and spumoni turned out to be a good choice. Our only real complaint is that it seems that those who order a whole bottle of wine (we chose single glasses of red and white wines) are offered the nicer wine glasses rather than the standard shaped glass. We noticed of course. Overall, Giordano's was a good experience.“
“Not only was the service amazing the food was incredibly authentic! I have to recommend the Pinsa (think pizza but better) and the Fettuccine Alfredo (the noodles are next level, based on the fettuccine I'd be comfortable recommending any of the pastas!)Will definitely be back up for a date night or maybe a whole family meal soon!“
“It was my 73rd birthday, and our reservation was at 445 pm. When we arrived, the hostess was obviously annoyed. She was constantly checking her watch. While we were waiting to check in, several more parties arrived, and the reception area became congested. When she returned, she curtly announced that she first would check all the parties in and then seat them afterward. Quite an awkward arrangement. However, when she finally began seating, as we had been the first to check in, we were escorted to a tiny table (end table size) in the back of the dining room. It was the only tiny table in the entire dining room, and there was clearly insufficient area to necessary to serve a meal. Subsequent parties of two were seated at larger tables. The tab for our meal was $300. The food was superb, spoiled only by being so cramped that dishes needed to be stacked in order to fit on the tiny table. My advice... refuse the tiny table. The Italian Daughter should be ashamed“
“Had family staying at the Boulders where we ate at the Grill Rest. They drove pass your Restaurant and made reservations. The food & service was unbelievable. We live 32 miles away and will definitely return.Vegetarian options: Food was superb as was the service....Parking: Just off Scottsdale Rd. very convenient.“
“This is a great casual place to enjoy well-prepared simple Italian food. Staff is helpful and great, ambience is very comfortable, taking us back in time. Slightly high on pricing, but typical for Scottsdale so a neutral. Since we started going there about thee months ago we've returned at least once a month and will continue to do so.“
“One of our go to Italian restaurants. Food consistently fresh and tasty. Tried the sea bass special last night and it was very good. Great service and family owned care. Good portions and lots of good menu options. Highly recommend for special occasions or just a great meal and service.“
“This is a classic "old school" Italian restaurant. Nothing pretentious about it. Tenured, attentive wait staff, excellent menu variety, and the food is excellent. Oh, and their wine list is both varied and reasonably priced. Very good bottles of wine to be had without dropping $100-200 per. Looking forward to my next visit!“
“We love this place. The place is like a little Italian restaurant on one of the side streets in any town in Italy. Alberto is the real deal charming and talented. The wood fired pizzas are fantastic, as are the specials. I find the marinara the best ever so light and fresh. Speaking of fresh, the bread is fantastic!“
“First of all, I would like to say, I am a “CHICAGO GIRL” who loves her pizza.Oregano’s did not disappoint. We were headed to Cave Creek and I decided to do a search to look for a good restaurant to try.I read all the reviews and checked the menuout before I make my decision to go to Oregano’s.As soon as we entered the restaurant,we notice how CLEAN it was. A total must for me to dine at any restaurant. We were greeted with a smile from a bubbly waitress Jennifer that was dressed for the holidays. What a doll! She made our whole experience extra special. We ordered 18” One-O Pizza, antipasto salad, LS Big Rig, Garlic cheese Bread with marinara sauce and drinks. As Jenny was taking our order for four, she suggested to order a large antipasto saladInstead of individual salads. What a great tip.I mention to Jenny, I read the reviews and people were complaining about their pizza crust being burnt and I told her I did not want a burnt crust. She totally reassured me my crust would not be burnt. When our pizza came out to our table, it was perfection! The presentation of the antipasto salad was totally inviting and well balanced.During our meal we had a visit at our table from “Mr.Michael” the manager. He asked us if we were enjoying our food. I expressed to him how outstanding the pizza and antipasto salad was and I was a girl who knew my pizza. He was very engaging and we shared with him how pleased we were at our total experience at his restaurant. I would suggest to anybody who is reading this review to give them a try and see for yourself what a gem of a restaurant Oregano’s truly is here in Cave Creek. We will be definitely coming back and looking for Jenny to serve us again.“
“Our friends invited us to go to one of their favorites that we had never visited. As a result, I read these reviews before we went. Quite a mixed, and sometimes harsh bag. Well, our experience was exceptional. My wife had gnocchi & I had veal Parmesan. Both really good. The waiter was so attentive & really made us feel special.“
“Had a huge order for a very large work group. We ordered a bunch of everything, and all the pizza tasted great, especially the mega meat. It was ready when we needed it and everyone was very nice. Some of the best pizzas I have ever had, and lots of the same comments from our group.“
“Spiga Cucina is an authentic Italian restaurant in North Scottsdale that has a ton of Italian dishes on the menu and I was able to try a few of my favorites! The restaurant has a fancy feel and is great for a date or friendly dinner occasion. The Ossobuco had a great presentation and was super tender. I loved the Pollo Parmigiana and the chicken had an amazing crisp/flavor to it. Both appetizers were great, I especially liked the Polpette (meatballs).“
“Move over Red Devil Pizzeria, you've got some rare company. I am happy to say for those who live near Scottsdale and Pinnacle Peak, you have a great Pizza place named Lorenzo's Pizzeria in your neighborhood. The service was excellent and the pizza was so good that my brother and I ordered an extra pizza to go after enjoying our dine-in Pizza. My brother and I have been reviewing pizza places throughout the valley for over 5 years.. Please see my other reviews. Anyway, now on to the good stuff... The Lorenzo's Pizza. The pizza was cooked to perfection with a zesty marinara sauce that makes the flavors on the pie come alive. Our server (Emily) was excellent as well. She came by our table serveral times to make sure we were enjoying our meal and to see if we needed anything. Lorenzo's Pizzeria has a great atmosphere and looks like they have great lunch specials (pizza by the slice etc..). And speaking of specials.. the price of a large pepperoni was a great deal especially for how good their pizza is. I definitely recommend folks to stop by Lorenzo's Pizzeria sometime to see how great Pizza can be.“
“We LOVE this neighborhood pizza place! Palmer, Dom, Sherri are all amazing! They make us feel like we're visiting family:-) Pizza is incredible! Best my husband & I have ever had and we're from the East Coast with NY pizza. Highly recommend!!“
