“We love this place! Their coffee by the bag is wonderful in addition to all of the specialty coffees available by the cup. Lots of delicious pastries are available. They have a lovely, dog friendly patio and the staff and owners are super friendly.”
“A nice little local hangout to enjoy wine and meet new friends. They also have a fantastic collection of wine for sale. If you are in the Carefree area and you enjoy wine...this is a must stop for you. Cheers!”
“Absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I did the 7 course chef tasting menu, and it was to die for! The chef is beyond talented, while using the only highest quality ingredients, he creates a masterpiece of flavors in every dish. The wife is absolutely a doll and so sweet. The establishment was beautiful with live plants flourishing throughout the place. We were visiting from Miami and will definitely be back! We wish we had you guys in Miami! Thank you so much again!!”
“Addictive! The burgers are juicy and flavorful with buns that are soft. The chicken tenders are freshly battered and come out juicy and not dried out. Fries rock and the food is fast. Thank you to all the gals who do an amazing job! ? to Tania on a job well done!!”
“Had the best Greek food ever at this fantastic restaurant. The outdoor patio isn’t overly packed with tables and it’s very family friendly. Had amazing service and the flavors were wonderful. Large portions and easy to share if you order appetizers.”
“Had a great dinner with friends. Service was awesome. I had the chicken piccata, and it was excellent. The pasta tastes fresh and made in-house.Also recommend the meatballs and the bruschetta.”
“Great gluten free and vegan options. Incredible flavors and experience. I honestly would’ve expected it to be more expensive than it was! We will definitely come back.”
“Black Mountain Coffee is my absolute favorite place. Everything about it is fabulous: the menu has a nice variety, Everything I've ordered has been delicious, but my favorite is The Easy Street Sandwich with the croissant, staff has always been professional/friendly and make you feel at home. The location is perfect for me; we enjoy going into the boutiques afterward or just a walk around The Dial and hear the birds.”
“The young lady who waited on me was so nice and helpful was great ?!! I would have gave a 5 star but it was the first time I have been there ! I will be going back ??Parking: At bash's store inside.Wheelchair accessibility: Again at bashas' store they had tables that you can pull up to.”
“We found this gem on a Monday late afternoon before a GCU basketball game, so there were not many people there when we arrived. The parking lot is large and well lit. The restaurant is quite a large space with plenty of room for dancing and a band which they have on the weekends. They also offer outdoor seating. Our server was friendly and brought us the best margaritas. Two of us ordered the fajitas and they were the best I have had! Massive shrimp cooked perfectly- not overcooked like some often do- with loads of onions and peppers. Everything was thinly sliced and so tasty. It was nearly impossible to finish this dish. It could have, and should have been, shared. But instead I took leftovers home. This is a big dish for the price, and one I want to go back for.Either the owner or a manager came by to see how we were doing and then he sent over two pieces of cheesecake. I really don't like cheesecake, but this was ridiculously good- not too sweet at all. So I finished that too! There is so much on their menu that I have to go back to try more.”
“Giordanos offers a more upscale dining experience than most Cave Creek restaurants and a well trained staff. Salads were fresh and larger than many restaurant salads. A stuffed clam appetizer was well seasoned but the accompanying sauce was unusual and a little heavy. We really enjoyed the Calamari pasta in a white wine sauce, but thought the clam pasta (also in a white wine sauce) was over ly seasoned. Both pastas were perfectly al dente. The Vitello (with pasta) was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Given the larger portion sizes only a smaller dessert was possible and spumoni turned out to be a good choice. Our only real complaint is that it seems that those who order a whole bottle of wine (we chose single glasses of red and white wines) are offered the nicer wine glasses rather than the standard shaped glass. We noticed of course. Overall, Giordano's was a good experience.”
“We stopped in with friends for dinner. James, our server, immediately stopped by we ordered cocktails. He then gave us some delicious warm rolls. After asking James for his recommendations, we ordered a variety of dishes including French onion soup, mussels, chicken with buerre blanc sauce, two types of fish and a cheeseburger.Everyone said their food was awesome. A couple boxes were brought home because the portions were so large.A special shoutout to James. His knowledge, enthusiasm and skill were second to none.”
“Not only was the service amazing the food was incredibly authentic! I have to recommend the Pinsa (think pizza but better) and the Fettuccine Alfredo (the noodles are next level, based on the fettuccine I'd be comfortable recommending any of the pastas!)Will definitely be back up for a date night or maybe a whole family meal soon!”
“The food was done perfectly, and the dessert ? were excellent.prices were reasonableDietary restrictions: I'm type 1 diabetic and they didn't give me flack about tweaking my meal, thank you”
“We dined early on a Wednesday night so the dining room was quiet. Great service. Decent selection but not much for the non-meat eater. No pasta dishes. They wanted to charge a splitting fee for splitting a Caesar salad. We contested it as we thought that was ridiculous. Three of our four meals were very good. My chicken dish was overcooked and dry. Two salads, 4 entrees, 3 drinks, $315.”
“From the veal soup to the slow cooked lamb shank, everything is made from scratch. You can taste the authenticity. The pita bread is unlike any other and perfect with the Cevapi sausages and roasted red pepper sauce....our favorite. And don't forget to try a freshly prepared dessert or two. On our last visit, we were served after the noontime rush and the owner had a moment to sit and visit at our mostly Croation table. She shared with us her passion for creating these dishes and explained how it truly comes from her heart. This is a small family-owned business (she proudly introduced her grandson, son, and daughter-in-law) and exactly the kind of restaurant we enjoy supporting. We highly recommend one of our favorite dining experiences in Phoenix!”
“Excellent service and the best steak I’ve had in a long time! Plus, they have a sign up program where you can get a free steak. Will look into that! Found out Arrowhead Grill is a sister restaurant, closer to us in Peoria.”
“Came on a Sunday at opening. Busy but efficient with enough employees to help. Lots of options on menu. Super delicious. Great price point. Wish they opened a little earlier during the ”
“It was my 73rd birthday, and our reservation was at 445 pm. When we arrived, the hostess was obviously annoyed. She was constantly checking her watch. While we were waiting to check in, several more parties arrived, and the reception area became congested. When she returned, she curtly announced that she first would check all the parties in and then seat them afterward. Quite an awkward arrangement. However, when she finally began seating, as we had been the first to check in, we were escorted to a tiny table (end table size) in the back of the dining room. It was the only tiny table in the entire dining room, and there was clearly insufficient area to necessary to serve a meal. Subsequent parties of two were seated at larger tables. The tab for our meal was $300. The food was superb, spoiled only by being so cramped that dishes needed to be stacked in order to fit on the tiny table. My advice... refuse the tiny table. The Italian Daughter should be ashamed”
“There has NEVER been a time where I haven't had delicious food and incredible service. They treat you like family at Ravens and the food is ALWAYS amazing! I usually go for lunch because I work right next to it. Some of my favs are: Salsa and Guac Fried Pickles Caesar salad w/chicken”
“The BEST burger I ever had! In from Chicago. Went there Tuesday, March 26 th. Lori was my server. The Best! Knowledgeable, beautiful, and gave great suggestions. Thank ”
“This is a Hopping place all the time there is limited seating inside but lots of feeding outside if it's not a rainy day there's plenty of tables. The food is quite amazing they do a good job here.”
“Very good pizza! Tastes just like the New Haven Pizzas(Pepe’s, Sally’s and Modern!) Nice char on the crust, you can taste all the ingredients! Highly recommend! Staff is always attentive and polite! We go once a week for our Pizza night!”
“I love BBQ!! The problem with most places is their sides are weak. This place is absolutely the BEST BBQ restaurant I have ever eaten at. From the meats to the sides to the dessert's, I could not recommend this place more! I wish I could give them 10 stars. Cody the owner was super friendly. This is our new go to in cave creek!”
“Food was really good. Completely satisfied with the food. The service was so so. They wrote our phone number down wrong so we never received a notification our table was ready so instead of a 20 minute wait it turned into a 45 minute wait before I said something. Chips and salsa came with the water, but we had to ask several minutes later for water glasses to drink our water with. Not a big deal, but kind of annoying. Granted, it was busy. It was “Final Four weekend AND a 5 day motorcycle rally. Our server was great and also seemed annoyed we weren’t given water glasses. Overall it just appeared staff didn’t care too much for their job. Would go back, but maybe at a different time of day.”
“We went to see our future daughter in law(Angel Mszanowski) sing her heart out. I believe that she'll be the next Carrie Underwood.Great place to hear her sing, to learn how to line dance and basically have a great time. Lots of movies have been filmed here, especially Western/ pseudo Western films.Vegetarian options: Mostly appetizers and some Mexican, Italian dishes... limited menu for vegetarians. Sorry.Parking: Free parking, plenty on weekdays but "good luck" on Fridays and Saturdays...Kid-friendliness: Kids of all ages welcome and encouraged. The night we were there, a pack of kids were being taught how to line dance... all dressed in their cowboy/ cowgirl outfits... complete w/ tiny hats and boots.”
“We've become regulars at this restaurant, visiting three Sundays in a row since discovering it just three weeks ago - that's how incredible the food is! We adore the rustic decor and laid-back vibes. Service every time was outstanding too! My mission is to sample something from each food category, and so far, every dish has been outstanding. On our first visit, we both opted for salads - I chose the Smoked Salmon, and my boyfriend went for the Mediterranean Steak, and both were fantastic. The next Sunday, I indulged in a veggie burrito with the medley potatoes on the side, it was still unbelievably large! Despite its size, I couldn't resist devouring every last bite - it was just that delicious! Meanwhile, my boyfriend enjoyed the Brunch Burger. Today, our third visit, I relished the Ricotta-Goat Cheese Toast with Smoked Salmon, while my boyfriend savored the Chicken & Waffle. Once again, our selections exceeded expectations. My toast was bursting with flavor, and the waffle was so light and tasty that syrup wasn't even necessary. The only minor critique was that my boyfriend felt there was a bit too much breading on the chicken. Overall, our dining experiences here have been heavenly, and we'll definitely be returning very soon!”
“Excellent lamb chops. Went here for the first time. Tuesday around 7pm. They were busy but No wait. Seated immediately. Prompt service, friendly waitress who suggested the lamb chops. Atmosphere was very pleasant. This was 5 stars. Perfect experience.”
“We love Dynamite Beer! The selection of beers is excellent, the service is welcoming and professional, and the food is delectable. The kitchen does not skimp on quality; everything from glazed bacon to flatbread pizzas to kale salad is flavorful and perfectly cooked. Yum! We'll be back soon!”
“We LOVE the English Tea Room - our favorite place for us girls! Excellent friendly service and Jo is a delight. Remembers us, spends time visiting with us and always provides a lovely atmosphere, delicious food and great items to bring home! So thankful a true high tea experience is available to us in the desert southwest.”
