“We came here on a Friday afternoon with my husband's aunt who lives in the community. We sat outside with a lovely view of the majestic mountains and beautifully maintained golf course grounds. Our server Rachel was very friendly and attentive. Given that it was a Friday during Lent, we much appreciated the seafood options on the menu. We ordered calamari to share as an appetizer, which was tasty. I also ordered a bowl of Manhattan clam chowder before my meal, which was also tasty. My husband and his aunt both ordered the tuna wrap, which was huge (his aunt had to bring half of hers home) and I ordered the salmon southwest salad, both of which were delicious. Even better, we very much appreciate the carrot cake dessert option, which is a favorite of ours to order anywhere it's offered (and we were surprised when Rachel asked "any room for dessert?" and my husband answered "well, let's see, do you have carrot cake?" and Rachel said "yes, we do, and it's delicious!" and indeed, she was correct!!!). All in all, a fabulous meal with a friendly server and a phenomenal view.”

“Wow! I am thoroughly impressed with this restaurant. We were driving home to Gilbert from Payson and decided to make a pit stop for lunch in Fountain Hills. Sushi sounded like the perfect cuisine after a day of strenuous hiking. First off, this place is absolutely gorgeous. Painted cement floors, large comfy booths, not to mention the beautiful artificial Bonsai tree in the center of the restaurant. Like another reviewer said, I'm not much on fake plants, but this was a nice touch and not too tacky. The service was pretty good, our server Emily checked in on us quite a bit. However, the best part of the experience was the food. I started with the Baked Scallop Dynamite Roll, which was phenomenal. My Dad loved his Lunch Fried Rice with Chicken as well. Surprisingly, the Miso Soup and House Salad we had on the side was delicious as well. Especially that salad, the dressing was to die for. Enough said, we'll be back to Oka for sure.”

“THE APP DIDN'T WORK! When I went to pay for my order online, the app had literally taken all of my customizations off the order. I didn't realize this until I got to the store and the pizza made was the wrong kind of pizza. The staff were so nice about it and not only refunded my money but made a whole new pizza the way I had originally ordered it.”

“Dined yesterday for a birthday celebration. Frenchie was our waiter and he always provides top-notch service to his guests. Shrimp appetizer was delicious and so were the two scallop main dishes. However, although one filet order was cooked perfectly, the second order had to be returned twice because it was overcooked both times. Seems as though whoever was on the main station in the kitchen did not know how to accurately determine if a steak was properly cooked. That's unfortunate due the cost of a prime filet that's now been wasted. Desserts were fabulous and made the whole birthday celebration a day to remember.”

“DJs bagels will ruin any other bagel place you have ever had. You will then have to drive to fountain hills because your family will only want DJs when craving a bagel. The staff are super nice. I had serious brain fog and couldn't count to 18, the staff never seemed annoyed even though I was annoyed with myself. The Everything, Salted, and Cinnamon and Sugar are my families top 3. DJs is a hidden gem!”

“Tonight I enjoyed dinner and a look at Fountain View Village. It was very cheerful and bright building with many areas for residents to gather. The residents I spoke with seem to greatly enjoy being a part of the community and all the activities it has to offer. The dining experience was exceptional with shrimp, Caesar’s salad, lobster tail and chocolate cake. It was absolutely a 5 star dinner with an exceptional staff. I would highly recommend looking at FVV as a living option. It is a lovely community with many happy residents.”

“There weren’t any other diners by the time I got here, but it’s a lovely, wide-open space. They do a lot of take-out. I had Stringbean Chicken with white rice; it was delicious! Nicely flavored and prepared quickly by an amazing chef. The young lady who seated me was very friendly. I didn’t feel rushed at all. Did I mention how delicious it was? This accompanying photo shows some of the food. It didn’t have long to live, as I ate every bit! If you live in Scottsdale, in Fountain Hills or near Sedona, 2 hours away like I do, this place is worth the trip! Bravo!”
