“We came here on a Friday afternoon with my husband's aunt who lives in the community. We sat outside with a lovely view of the majestic mountains and beautifully maintained golf course grounds. Our server Rachel was very friendly and attentive. Given that it was a Friday during Lent, we much appreciated the seafood options on the menu. We ordered calamari to share as an appetizer, which was tasty. I also ordered a bowl of Manhattan clam chowder before my meal, which was also tasty. My husband and his aunt both ordered the tuna wrap, which was huge (his aunt had to bring half of hers home) and I ordered the salmon southwest salad, both of which were delicious. Even better, we very much appreciate the carrot cake dessert option, which is a favorite of ours to order anywhere it's offered (and we were surprised when Rachel asked "any room for dessert?" and my husband answered "well, let's see, do you have carrot cake?" and Rachel said "yes, we do, and it's delicious!" and indeed, she was correct!!!). All in all, a fabulous meal with a friendly server and a phenomenal view.”

“Our steaks were excellent. I had the any strip and my buddy the Fillet. They brought us a tasty chefs treat and then another “bonus” item of Pork Belly. The bread was really fresh and delicious. A few minor mix ups. We didn't order salad sand they tried to bring another tables. We ordered creamed spinach. They brought us the first two sides. I accidentally asked where our cream corn was not cream spinach. They brought the cream corn, it was delicious, regardless. Attentive staff and overall a great experience!”

“THE APP DIDN'T WORK! When I went to pay for my order online, the app had literally taken all of my customizations off the order. I didn't realize this until I got to the store and the pizza made was the wrong kind of pizza. The staff were so nice about it and not only refunded my money but made a whole new pizza the way I had originally ordered it.”

“Just had a hiking group stop by Phil's after a couple loops around the fountain. I had the sliders which were excellent and my wife got a Julienne salad which was huge. “Wow! I am thoroughly impressed with this restaurant. We were driving home to Gilbert from Payson and decided to make a pit stop for lunch in Fountain Hills. Sushi sounded like the perfect cuisine after a day of strenuous hiking. First off, this place is absolutely gorgeous. Painted cement floors, large comfy booths, not to mention the beautiful artificial Bonsai tree in the center of the restaurant. Like another reviewer said, I'm not much on fake plants, but this was a nice touch and not too tacky. The service was pretty good, our server Emily checked in on us quite a bit. However, the best part of the experience was the food. I started with the Baked Scallop Dynamite Roll, which was phenomenal. My Dad loved his Lunch Fried Rice with Chicken as well. Surprisingly, the Miso Soup and House Salad we had on the side was delicious as well. Especially that salad, the dressing was to die for. Enough said, we'll be back to Oka for sure.”

“Tonight I enjoyed dinner and a look at Fountain View Village. It was very cheerful and bright building with many areas for residents to gather. The residents I spoke with seem to greatly enjoy being a part of the community and all the activities it has to offer. The dining experience was exceptional with shrimp, Caesar’s salad, lobster tail and chocolate cake. It was absolutely a 5 star dinner with an exceptional staff. I would highly recommend looking at FVV as a living option. It is a lovely community with many happy residents.”
