Palo Verde Reviews
Service and food were excellent, all the specials and desserts were the best food we've had in a while!
While staying at The Boulders we tried Palo Verde twice once for dinner and once for breakfast. My breakfast experience was ok. My latte and meal were good. The server was attentive and friendly. Dinner on the other hand was entirely different experience. Our food took forever to get, and they were not busy. The waiters seemed confused about were people's food went once it came out. We saw a family of five be seated, the father got up to get their own menus after a while. They...read full review
We came on a holiday so the menu is prefix. The food was good. Not great. I would recommend coming when it's not a holiday. Service was outstanding. Ambience great. Wonderful views. Would recommend just not on a holiday.

Palo Verde offers a delightful breakfast experience with excellent eggs Benedict on gluten-free bread and tasty French toast. The fruit options are fresh, especially the pineapple. Friendly staff and a cozy ambiance make for a pleasant visit. The restaurant is situated on the South golf course at the Boulders Resort in Carefree, serving Southwestern inspired dishes for breakfast and dinner. Guests can sit inside in a rotunda-style main room or enjoy the patio overlooking the course and pond. The setting provides a nice family atmosphere, perfect for a desert morning, followed by a visit to the pond where children can watch turtles and koi inch closer. The food is consistently excellent, with favorites like biscuits and gravy topped with chorizo gravy, cheddar jalapeno biscuits, and a spicy Bloody Mary or bourbon and peach schnapps iced tea. Among the standout dishes, the sea bass is regarded as the best ever, and the vegetarian options are flavorful and well-textured. Although the Easter Brunch in a ballroom was disappointing with small portions and no carving stations, the overall experience at Palo Verde remains highly positive. Friendly service and a nice wine selection complement the quality food, making it a place to look forward to visiting again. However, the setting can be less ideal on rainy days, with wet stone steps to navigate.
