“We had an absolutely fantastic lunch at JJ’s Deli in Scottsdale! I ordered the pastrami Reuben, and it was outstanding—tender, flavorful pastrami, perfectly grilled rye, and just the right balance of sauerkraut and cheese. Suzanne had the roast beef sandwich with sauerkraut, and it was every bit as delicious.
The portions were more than ample and easily large enough to share. Everything tasted fresh, generous, and full of flavor. This is exactly what you hope for from a great neighborhood deli, and JJ’s definitely delivered. We will absolutely be back!“

“First time stopping in and I can’t believe I didn’t know this spot existed right in the Midtown/Uptown area! We’re definitely adding this to our regular rotation.
My husband was craving a meatball sandwich and gave it a solid thumbs up—the sauce was a bit on the extra-juicy side, but the bread held up great and had fantastic flavor. I went with a slice of pepperoni pizza and a Greek salad. The salad ingredients were super fresh, and the pizza crust was spot on: crisp, sturdy, and not floppy or soggy at all.
What really made the visit was the hospitality. The woman working the counter was so warm and welcoming, and the cook even checked in on us as we were finishing up to make sure everything was great.
A fantastic, cozy neighborhood gem. Excited to come back!“

“Long time favorite for our family. Grew up with the Original Christown Mall location. It is still our all time favorite! What a Deli SHOULD be. So far there is no competition for fresh, hot deli meals anywhere in the valley. Sad there is only one location left but happy to get to them whenever we can! Thank You!!“

“This is a good place to have a good affordable lunch. I've had 2 sandwiches (good) and 1 Greek wrap (not as tasty) but $9.99 with sides is incredible these days. I plan to go thru menu. Right next door to my new job. Oh the customer service could be a little happier but they not sour either.“
