Host was super knowledgeable, friendly, and helped curate a great experience for each table.
Very interesting hearing about the history of scotch and looked out there, but the noise from the rest of the hotel was a little distracting
Greg is an awesome host and introduced us to some terrific Scotch. This is my 3rd time visiting and I'll definitely be back. Great, unpretentious spot to appreciate some great Scotch and learn while doing it

Ali Shonak Library offers an excellent scotch tasting experience every Friday at 6 p.m. The staff, especially Guy, is very knowledgeable about scotch origins and is passionate about teaching. The space is beautiful, and the available scotches are superb. Although only five tapas are provided, it is recommended to eat before attending. The staff listens to guests' preferences and offers great suggestions, making each visit enjoyable whether you're a scotch lover or new to it. Many guests appreciate the opportunity to expand their scotch knowledge and enjoy the ambiance of this local gem. Guests have enjoyed the educational aspect, with Guy providing prepared and insightful guidance. The ambiance is interesting, and the tasting can be fun, especially with live music, though it may sometimes be a bit distracting. Small bites are available, and additional snacks such as nuts can be requested. Visitors often find the experience entertaining and unique, especially if they enjoy whisky. Overall, it remains a popular spot for those looking to learn more about scotch in a beautiful setting.
