“The best faux dive bar in the region. This is a locals-heavy, friendly, welcoming place. You'll feel like you're home, if home to you is sandwiched between a retired contractor with a lifetime of stories and two golfing bros who just got back from a Bahamas dive trip. Alexa the bartender will never steer you wrong unless that's your plan.“
“Sonya is the greatest hospitality driven bartender I've encountered. The place is absolutely topnotch and it's Greatest watering hole this side of the Mississippi. I an absolutely delighted to return. Thank you Sonya for being the best!“
“Stopped in for a quick drink after some bowling with friends and this was a very nice spot pretty spacious very clean and service was pretty fast. My only complaint is that this business is strictly money only they do not take any cards but they do have a ATM on site.“
“Really cool little dive bar. The Christmas lights everywhere are something else and add another level to a night out. The bartenders are chill and prices are pretty fair for Scottsdale. They have a little food truck in the back with some pretty fair prices options as well.Parking: Tons of free parking available.“
“PROS: This place is the go-to bar for all happy hour events. My co-workers and I always come here and it's considered a great spot. They serve mixed drinks in normal size glasses compared to other bars and the bartender is very nice. A good amount of room to sit at and the place has a nice look to it CONS: They only have a 2 person bathroom which can cause a line with the amount of people they can sit and the tables aren't waited upon by a waitress/waiter towards 7pm onwards OVERALL: Come here for drinks, because if you're not you're missing out“
“Stopped by here at 7am on a Sunday to ask for jumper cables to jump my scooter battery. There weren't any so me and my dog ended up staying while we waited for my mom. The staff was nice they gave him water and a slimjim and a patron shared their chips with him. He had a great time and everyone loved his Dallas cowboy jersey. I normally wouldn't drink on a Sunday, but this (I'm almost sure of it) would definitely be a bar our lord would unwind in. An over indulged couple arguing about which wataburger is the best, while a man in a ICP shirt sings louder than the jukebox speakers to the the tune of John Legends All Of Me. The nearly packed bar seemed to enjoy it and even joined it at some parts, even waking up the tired and filling them with inspiration; a là church if you will. This unexpected yet familiar place nearly made me forget it was only 7am on a Sunday and me and my dog still needed to drive my scooter home. I will definitely return for more of the unexpected, and so will my dog…for the chips and slimjims of course.Kid-friendliness: Gave my dog slimjims.“
“My favorite dive bar to watch random 80s movies and throw darts! Everyone here always seems to be in a good mood!Parking: The parking lot out back is smaller, but I've never seen it where no parking was available. However, there's another large parking lot across the street where Echo Coffee and Dominos are.“
“Great dive bar in Old Town Scottsdale. Always a great time at Pattie's. During the day they have ping pong tables and other games. The evening gets crowded as it's very popular spot for the younger crowd... but us older people enjoy it too. Highly recommend making a stop at Pattie's while visiting Scottsdale.“
“A casual neighborhood dive bar. This is the place to watch the Minnesota Vikings on game day. This place bleeds Vikings purple! Very friendly staff, felt like part of the family on our first time there. The entire bar was in Vikings gear minus the one sole Chiacgo Bears fan. Server Colby was the best, every table was taken care of. Make sure you bring cash as it's a cash only bar. The drink prices were very low because of it. They have an ATM on-site if needed. I highly recommend Jupes!“
“I love Groggys, and they have the best mushroom and provolone burger ever! I love they have 4 pool tables and great staff! Nice people to meet and socialize with and Kareoke Thursday nights! I highly recommend visiting and hanging out for a fun place to meet others!“
“I love this place! I work at the Circle K next door and Gypsy’s is my favorite place to eat! The ladies and gentlemen who work there are always smiling and nice. They go the extra mile for the customers whether it is your first time coming in or your 100th time. The live music brings extra life to the place at night. For such a little bar—it packs a big punch of fun! Thanks for being great, Gypsy’s!!“
“Little hole in the wall lounge with great service and prices. The bar and the bathrooms were extremely clean and I can totally appreciate the "nice vibes only" policy. They even offer a cute little menu with really affordable snacks and apps. Will definitely be dropping off my husband here at my next visit to HomeGoods.“
“A must-visit spot to stand within the walls of Tempe music history. The stage is great for shows and the expanded space and arcade are perfect escapes from the noise. This bar is an unassuming powerhouse. The staff are laid back, the beer is cold, and the pinball is icing on the cake. It's always a good hang.“
“solid divey experience that feels homey. not middle of nowhere dive where machete man in the parking lots looking for you. nice selection of brews, nice bartender, i even didn’t mind the very bright christmas lights ( i take to lower lighting dives) but this place is cool. good stuff PHX“
“Total dive bar, but this is the bar that sponsors our kickball league, so we will support it. Service was good and right down the road from he parl that we play at. Added bonus as most local dive bars... super inexpensive drinks and $2 jello shots, which is a bad idea before a kickball game.“
“A great place to play pool. They have three bar box tables that well maintained. They have a tournament on Tuesday nights. The bar has a very neighborhood “cheers” bar vibe. There are dart boards and an outdoor patio. as well. Bar snacks and good service!“
“If local neighborhood dive is your thing then this spot will be your jam. It's tiny, old and has one pool table. Went there for my first time last night and was really surprised at how great this place is. Music was on point, everyone I met was cool as hell, and the bartender Maggie was the gem of the place. Highly recommend. I look forward to going back.“
“The Bar. has the best wings in town! Every cook will go out of their way to make your meal custom to your taste buds. Jenna has created an amazing vibe with her bingo and trivia nights. The bartenders are all absolute rockstars, that work extremely hard to ensure you have a wonderful time. I have never felt more welcomed and more comfortable at any bar immediately upon walking in as I do at The Bar.Kid-friendliness: During the day they have board games, darts, make an awesome grilled cheese and have sports or TVs that can be altered for you viewing needsWheelchair accessibility: No stairs and full ramp to get in“
“More than beats the hell out of waiting 5hrs for a puncture repair!! Wendie, the bartender, greeted me with a huge smile and kept my beer full. It's a fun, eclectic place, playing great music and it feels like you've walked into "Cheers", everybody is so friendly. Definitely recommend it if your just passing by, or looking for a great dive bar.“
