“Sue and I had lunch there today and we found it to be like a refreshing step back in time. It has an old-world classic cafe style along with counter stools. The food was very good and the portions were really good. I had a Club sandwich and Sue had Chicken Parmesan and they were both excellent. The service was friendly and prompt. And even though the place had a classic look it was very clean.“

When I go to order I see Laura the manager, who reminds me to put in my phone #, she is always friendly and personable. I once said to her - I appreciate you and she said : We appreciate you. Usually Makayla will bring my food and I love that she is always smiling and so sweet and kind- Part of the reason I come here is because the food is great and the other part is because the staff is AMAZING !“

“Haymaker has been our favorite local restaurant since we moved to AZ 6 years ago. When they moved across the street to their new location - it’s even more our favorite restaurant. Even though we had a reservation we still waited 30 minutes to be sat. I'm not a restaurant operations expert but think whoever is running the front of house isn't timing things or correctly.“

“My very sweet mother-in-law was craving fried fish and home fries, but wanted a place relatively close to her house. I took her over to Country Boys for a laid-back lunch. She said the fish, the fries and the coffee were all excellent. I had a potato skillet with scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, and onions.

The vibe here is friendly and calm, at least on a Friday afternoon. Lots of both and table seating.
