We tried out the burnt end tips, brisket poutine, and smoked wings - and let me tell you, it was some of the best barbecue I've had since we moved here from South Carolina. But as of lately every single time ive been there or ordered from them, they forget several important items or things taste weird and im just sad because this used to be my favorite place for breakfast. “We were able to be seated immediately on a Wednesday night! The service was outstanding and food was great. Our server was extremely attentive, and our food all came out in good time. The manager also came out to greet us!This is a family restaurant, so although we were able to be seated immediately just know that it's fairly crowded and lots of talking!“
“Our first visit to a Firebird restaurant. Enjoyed a weekday lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Excellent service. Good lunch menu options reasonably priced. Busy but didn't seem noisy. Surprised with a delicious dessert treat that we shared- crème brûlée cheesecake- best ever cheesecake! Definitely recommend.“
“While staying in Phoenix to visit family. We went for dinner 1st night while checking in late at our hotel. Asked what was open and close... They recommended I&J Fountain... 5 minutes from our hotel...We had a great time the first night with karaoke... Then went back a couple nights later with my Dad (70)..They had a one man band.. playing the best of county /rock oldies. Both nights the food was terrific!! Price was terrific!! The service was terrific! Our server Julian took terrific care of us both nights. Great server! Go in and ask for him. He has great recommendations and is super attentive.“

“Fabulous experience at Vogue. Our server was “spot on” had answers to all my questions, prompt, friendly and professional. The French onion soup was fabulous! Topped with a puff pastry / loved it!! The meatloaf is a definite must. A veal/pork blend-melts in your mouth. Was a great first experience for a traveler“
“Order was over $200 called one hour after it was supposed to be there. lots of excuses. Never came, ruined a birthday party. No apology or compensation for the fiasco that they created. I wasn't charged but that hardly made up for the disappointment and ruining a party.“

“This was our first time trying Culver's and it was delicious! The staff was awesome and brought us our food quickly. We tried a few different burgers and sides and they were all good.Deluxe Double ButterBurger: This was our favorite sandwich! The bun was buttery and soft while the patties were crispy and juicy. There weren't too many toppings, but what was on it completed the burger.Sourdough Melt: The sourdough bread was really good. The onions were fairly thick cut, but since they were grilled they were super soft. Overall a good burger!Wisconsin Cheese Curds: Our favorite part of the whole meal. We wish we had gotten a larger size. They were so good we ate them before finishing the rest of our meal. Highly recommend!French Fries: These are your standard crinkle cut fries. Nothing bad about them, but nothing to write home about.Malt with Brownie Pieces and Butter Cake: After having all that food, we got a medium malt and it was too much. But it was so good that we ended up finishing it anyways.“

“Came in while Linda was working, ordered a burger and fries. She was very nice to me, checking in while doing her rounds while the food cooked. Still allowed me to take my break and park my rig next door in the dirt lot, it had been a few years since I came through this way and I wasn’t sure if they still allowed us to take a rest break or not. If you see this place pop up on trucker path and you’re on US 60, Trackside is still a great place to grab a bite to eat and take a rest break. 10/10, it’s great to see a place like this still open and still trucker friendly. Thanks Linda.Parking: If you’re a trucker pulling a trailer, you’ll need to use the dirt lot next door. Plenty of room to maneuver and easy access to get back on 60.“
“This is one of the best, if not the best venue to come to in Surprise. The staff is friendly, food is great and the overall atmosphere and entertainment is amazing. They offer lots of different options for all different crowds, karaoke, live music, darts, pool, and so much more. Highly recommend coming to BSII!“
“Yummmm! We love Biscuits. Have been here 6 times now and it gets better each time. We usually get the meat lovers scramble to share. It comes with a side of pancakes or 2 biscuits and that makes the portion HUGE. We always get a cinnamon roll; it is giant and gooey. This time we ordered the French Toast flight. AMAZING! It's big tho, which was perfect for our group of 4. We cut the 4 different flavors into quarters. Highly recommend. The o my negative about this place is the wait time on weekends. We waited exactly 45 minutes for our table. Yuck.“

“Came in tonight with some friends and sat on the patio which is huge. Had music playing and lights, right on street side of Bell Rd. Great atmosphere. Our server was busy with other tables and didn’t come back for a bit. Ordered the salmon entree and wasn’t completely satisfied with the taste as it was pretty bland in my opinion, but I stopped what I thought was a busser to ask for a manager and it turned out to be the General Manager. He was carrying a full tub of dishes at the time and immediately sat them down and spoke with us and was very friendly and understanding. I asked him why, as the general manager, was he out on the patio cleaning tables and he just smiled and said “We are a little under staffed today so I just do what I have to do”. It was my first time at State 48 and if it wasn’t for that interaction I might not have come back, but I will be back.“
“Erika was our server and she helped make the best choice for our breakfast which was perfect. The food was cooked perfectly and the portions were spot on. The restaurant was clean but needs a little upgrade. I will be back again with my friends.“
“I got the all meat skillet and it was so good. The service was also great. Our waiter Peter has a photographic memory (didn’t need a notepad to write our orders) There were 7 of us and everything was exactly as we ordered. Highly recommend.“
