“This place is a staple for us anytime we go out to Lake Pleasant. Honestly, even if we are not actually going to the lake, we will still go out of our way to stop here if we are even remotely close. It has become one of those places we just look forward to.
The burgers are great, and the service has always been really good every time we have been in. Everyone we have met there, from the staff to other people stopping in, has always been friendly and easygoing. It has a comfortable, local, lake-day kind of feel that makes you want to come back.
They have plenty of parking for boats and trailers, which makes it so much easier when you are coming from or heading to the lake. They also have outdoor seating, which is nice, but after a hot day out on Lake Pleasant, that cold AC inside feels amazing.
The place has been around for a long time, and you can tell it has a lot of history with the lake crowd. I also like looking at the pictures of all the nice catches over on the bait shop side. It is just a solid, dependable spot with good food, good service, and a great lake atmosphere.“

“We stopped by FCT for a drink and lunch on their opening day. It was great! Owen was our server and he was attentive and friendly. Miranda, the manager, stopped by to introduce herself and welcome us in. So nice! They have lots of beers on tap and delicious food. We will be going back!“

“We came with a party of 11 and had no problem getting seated even after being almost a half hour past our scheduled reservation time. They were kind enough to hold the table. Our server was excellent and we got all of our orders correct and pretty fast. All of the apps we had were delicious and servings for the main courses were cooked just the way we requested. It was fairly crowded but the noise level was low enough that we had no problems hearing each other from one end of the table to the other. The bar area has lots of TVs, but they are separate from the main dining area, so we didn’t hear them .“

“First off if you’re looking for some fancy bells and whistles this is not your bar. Dive bar for sure. We came around lunch time on a Friday to a fairly busy time. Plenty of TVs, music not too loud and some obvious local frequent customers. We ordered quite a few things to try. We started with zucchini and wings. We then ordered a burger and their club sandwich as well as carne asada fries. We were told everything is fresh and when it arrived the lettuce, tomatoes etc definitely were. Our wings came with both celery and carrots which we love as well. I loved the long sticks of zucchini and it was quite good and I liked that the batter didn’t just fall off while eating. By far my favorite were the wings. They tasted fresh, were a little crispy and sauced well. The club was huge and fed two of us. Fries were crispy. Burger was good, but forgot our bacon. No biggie, but a burger is always better with bacon. Service was friendly and efficient. Though she did talk quite a lot and my husband had a hard time getting an order in lol. Again, she was still quick to help where we needed and our food came out pretty quick. Not sure if they’ve changed owners over the last few years or we came on the best day ever because our experience definitely didn’t match these other reviews. I also heard her say they do karaoke and such as well if you’re into that.“

“I LOVE Dino’s!! If you’re in the Goodyear / Avondale area you have to eat here! Delicious food ! Never a wait even during peak hours. Good pizza , wings , calzones. “Just moved back to the area . Absolutely excellent neighborhood bar ,with open mic entertainment and even great food.. as a GM of a fine dining Italian restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere and excellent service. I believe Gabrielle was our bartender and was so fast and nice“

“This is such a dive bar lol, and the parking sucks lol, but the FOOD! OMG, the food is delish! From sliders to salads you be be shocked how good everything is. We are usually a group of 10, every time ordering different items and comparing how yummy. The service is also fantastic. Just go, have fun being absolutely shocked. “A couple friends and I came here for their dollar wing Wednesday. There’s a lot of space, seating and a nice size bar area. The service was good and the food was good. The lemon pepper was decent. I kind of wish the garlic Parmesan was a bit more saucy. The hot honey bbq (I can’t remember the exact flavor) was saucy and the best one we had I thought. Cheese curds and fries not that bad either. Pretty cool hang out spot with pool tables and darts.“

“As a Louisianan I can say the food was great and the beer was cold. The bar tender gunner was a cool guy and I’ll be back the next time I’m in town. Zero complaints.“

“Failed to mention anywhere on the menu of peanuts in a TOP SIRLOIN steak dish. Brought my significant other for her 21st birthday only to spend the night in the hospital. After leaving the establishment, my party was forced to cover myself and her’s tab of dishes we weren’t able to enjoy due to their negligence as we had to sprint out of the restaurant. It was a memorable night, but for the worse. On what should’ve been a celebration, Red’s/Wigwam turned it into a nightmare. If they were careless from a foundational standpoint to glaze over something as common and as critical in food safety as a peanut allergy (on a dish that wouldn’t been remotely associated with the food group) I cannot imagine what other basic common sense and customer service areas they are lacking on. I wish I had more of a well rounded experience to reflect on, but as abrupt as the experience shifted it’s hard to really say much with what limited time we actually got to spend in the establishment, but from a back half perspective it was definitely far from ideal. Only consolation was that they packed the food (which put her in the hospital) to go for the remainder of the party.

I will say, our waitress Shannon was a sweetheart and this wasn’t her fault, it should be listed on the menu considering the context

UPDATE:
After a call back a couple days later, my experience changed. We were contacted by Isabel, the restaurant manager and she gave us a sincere apology which included a complementary stay at the resort and dinner as well as an update to the menu to protect future allergy sensitive patrons (which is most important) As much one can complain about an experience we had initially higher management resolved the issue to the best of they’re ability and for that I now have a different perspective of the wigwam/Red Allen’s.“
