“Friendly atmosphere. I was in the game room with a meetup group. The waitress was friendly and attentive, which was great, because we were a big group. There are a lot of games to choose from. I wasn’t impressed with their pretzel and cheese. The cheese was lukewarm and it had peppers in it, but no taste.“
“The fries were absolutely amazing cooked to perfection and seasoned well. The sliders were very dry, but wasn't expecting too much was very good with ranch and drinks were also good. Service was amazing and ambience was perfect for a sports bar.“
“It was nice go find a place where there was a variety form of entertainment besides just watching television: we got pool tables, dart games, music, and it wasn't all sports when it came to watching TV, we got something for everyone. Went to check out the atmosphere and drink, stayed long enough to enjoy the food. Good service all around.“

Being from the Chicago area and having Bar Louie start in our neighborhood, we felt right at home with the menu and options.I had the pepperoni flatbread, my son a burger and we split cheese curds and I would recommend all to any potential customers.The restaurant was quiet at lunchtime, and we noticed it was a lot more busy during dinner and we would love to swing by again before heading back to Chicago.Parking: Mall parking is available and consider the crowd at the mall for availability“
“We come HERE ALL THE TIME. We love it. I do have 2 issues, they both have to do with the roll up doors (that are always open) leading to the patio. First: there are ALWAYS gnats inside the restaurant. Second: it seems like as soon as our food gets brought to our table, someone lights up a cigarette or pipe on the patio. It's very off putting given the ashtray smell and the gnats. The service is always top notch. The food is consistently good. I like being able to pay through the app. Makes paying the check a breeze.“

“It’s a bar and grill with pool tables and darts on one side. On the main side they have karaoke 3 times a week. Tuesday night has Trivia and Karaoke. I go for the lunch specials and the Karaoke. They also have a good sized outside patio that has a misting system. I did bring my pet once and the outdoor was comfortable even though it was hot. They have a nice mix of people that go there. Very inclusive. Everyone feels welcome.“
“I enjoy the diverse menu, delicious food, great drinks and I’d even really love the ordering / paying through the QR code if it was a little easier to access. It took several tries for my phone to recognize the code and actually pull up the menu and I’m pretty accustomed to using QR codes. My friend was required to download an app first in order to see the menu and order , seemingly because she doesn’t have an iPhone. She then had to pay a service fee for using the app although given no other option. I will say the service was super quick though and once your tab is open, ordering additional items is super easy and quick without having to flag down a server. It was team trivia night and didn’t realize this until after we were seated and had ordered. We probably would have picked a different table had we known as we were just trying to have conversation and the trivia was rather loud. Neither of these slight inconveniences ruined my experience, just worth noting. I would (and will) return and I recommend you try it too.“

“Giving a fair review - the reason I chose this place was when I researched the bar, I was looking for black owned. It’s BHM, and it was important to frequent a cultured establishment. The owner may not be there during certain times, but there were also no POC servers.Glad I stayed and we ended up having a great time. The bar folks or normies were awesome and the karaoke was fun!!I believe the 2 ladies that helped were Tasha and Mickey (blondish, pig tails and glasses)?? Both were great!“
“Fun bar & grill. We came here after the Miles For Migraine event at the park across the street. It was a wait for the food but it was worth it because it was delicious and fresh. Customer service was slow in the beginning but picked up and was great the rest of the time. We will definitely be back here.“
