“First timer! Enjoyed the atmosphere- super chill, not loud, family friendly; kiddos, dogs. Mixed crowd age wise. The behind the bar staff is hospitable and offered samplers since we couldn’t make up our mind. Had some delicious cider! yes, cider- Apple Pie Hard! So good… I also like that they provide catering trucks an opportunity to show case their food! We enjoyed the Indian cusine from Sho Lov Food truck; tandoori wings, samosas, jazmine rice, chicken tiki masala. Fast & affordable. Delish… definitely stopping in again to enjoy the atmosphere, good drink and explore the food options.“

“Food and drinks were good. Parking is slightly messy, street parking or behind the building which seems like a tight squeeze in spots. Busy place with patio with awning in part of the outside in case it’s raining. Vibes are cute with string lights and a gift shop.“

“I come here to specifically get pesto alfredo pasta. Which used to be absolutely amazing. There was roasted heirloom tomatoes that complemented the presto so well and then the creaminess of the Alfredo pulled it all together for me. I’ve tried twice this week to see if maybe it was just cook preparation that day based off who’s scheduled. But I’ve had one outcome that was almost perfect just missing the tomatoes and my recent outcome that completely missed the mark and didn’t have tomatoes as well and on what I’ve been used to from here this is a downgrade from the kitchen. I’m very pleased with the server. The service as usual is absolute amazing. The bartender is on point and remembers regulars. It just sucks to get home to food that taste not as expected twice in a row. I don’t know if it was an expense cut back to change the recipe or if it’s a training issue where a new cook doesn’t know to include certain ingredients. But my pasta was not to parr. Loooooved my potatoes tacos as usual

Update! I’ve went back and tried again ( I will always be a repeat customer, the service is beyond parr)

I got my usual order and when I say it was exactly as it used to be ! The server was on point with answers to my questions ingredients and when I asked for specifications there was clarified questions to make sure my order was to my liking.“

“I went yesterday to the downtown Glendale location and I have the cream of mushroom soup and bread and it was amazing. The people are friendly. Jesus the co-owner and manager made my experience. Very delightful. I got to watch the thing be built and there are some amazing people working there I highly suggest this place“

“We are in town from Washington and have nothing but great things to say about Thirsty Lion. We went in for happy hour and bought 5 appetizers ( fried spicy cauliflower was our fav) . Multiple drinks. The waitress Karlie was a huge highlight of our visit, very friendly and knowledgeable. Never an empty drink or dirty plate on the table. You could tell she enjoys her job. We will be back whenever we are in town.“
