What a nice gesture! We were all impressed with everything about Twin Peaks and will be back soon!”

To say the food was amazing is an understatement. I was shocked at how gluten friendly they are, even to the point of having a dedicated oven for the gluten-free pizza us. My friend was overwhelmed with all the amazing options, and absolutely loved that she could pick whatever she wanted. We had the focaccia bread, the bacon, mac & cheese, and the fungi Florentine pizza. Dessert we tried the apple crisp and the tiramisu, both are which are gluten-free. The food was incredible. We will definitely be back.”

Or, 🤔 maybe customers should be warned that they’re not getting what they are paying for- unsavory and poor business practices. And update your menu! Spinatos is definitely our go-to pizza joint. Every time we order the same thing, the Mama’s Signature pizza with extra Italian sausage) and every time it’s fabulous! The sauce is amazing, and there is always ample amounts of tomato, spinach and garlic! SO GOOD! The crust is thin and crispy and perfect. NEVER disappoints!!”

“We went to Four Peaks Brewing to try their beer, and I absolutely loved their beer selection! 🍺 I tried the seasonal Grapefruit Hop Knob and the Oatmeal Stout, and both were great.
As for the food, the wings were just okay, but the Salmon BLT was amazing! The Brezelburger was also just okay, while the kids really enjoyed the fish and chips.
The sauces were okay, they were very runny and could definitely use more flavor. Overall, I really enjoyed the beer selection and the Salmon BLT was definitely a highlight!”

“Went there (party of two) last night for a meal of appetizers and drinks. We ordered the shrimp cocktail hoping for a chunky ceviche-type experience. The flavors were good and just the perfect kick. Our preference is a little less tomato juice and a little more of the chunky ingredients (reason for 4 on food). We also ordered the Queso Fundido. Very good flavors. Love the chorizo and the homemade corn tortillas.
Cadillac marg in a small glass...$19 (yikes!). Good but maybe not worth that price.

Downsides on this restaurant in general is how loud it is inside (reason for 3 of atmosphere) and how challenging to park(nothing they can do about parking).
Whoever owns this corner has put wayyyy too many busy restaurants in place for the amount of parking. So, if you want to come here arrive early as the restaurant is popular and they do not take reservations.
I definitely think overall the food is worth it and we will come back.”

I highly recommend trying it - it's Italian wood fired oven pizza, not greasy, not huge amounts of sauce and cheese like an American pizza. It's closer to a Roman style pizza (I used to live in Rome and Tuscany). Some good combinations although I always add extra ingredients. I think the pricing is very reasonable given the quality of ingredients. The size is more like an Italian pizza - not huge, so make sure you order enough if you expect American size pizzas.”

To add the very short of it at the start, if you live in Arizona and drink freshly roasted coffee daily and you are not buying from Cortez, you need to at least try a bag. My first order was because it was cheaper than other local specificity roasters. I keep returning for more because of Cortez’s unique selection of odd and exciting fermentations and processes (Juicy Lulo springs to mind quickly). It is some of the best coffee you will ever have. Story Time: Sorry, not sorry. I used to go down the street from work and pick up bags from another Arizona roaster; however, I was laid off from GM along with over 900+ other people. I found Cortez by searching for a local coffee roaster that I could order by mail that would not break the bank to save some money. I made my first order on Nov 8th, 2023, and ordered a bag of Columbia Ocampos, plus some other small 8oz bags from Cameroon. I made my first cup of Ocampos and quickly realized that it was one of the best cups of coffee I have had, and with that, he had me hooked because, on Nov 22nd, I ordered a second order, then Dec 10th, Dec 22nd; you get the idea... I have been drinking coffee daily from Cortez for over a year, and each new, unique coffee gets better and better. My standard order is a monthly 2lb bag of Vulcan Azul for espresso and each new drop. When writing this, it is Colombia Vergel, which is just… amazing! It is fruity, acidic, and a real treat for the senses; who knew coffee could be so wild and flavorful! I had the pleasure of meeting Ron Cortez at his cafe (The Bright Side) in Tempe once a few months ago. He was an absolute pleasure, and I felt I could speak with him about coffee for quite a while. I ordered a pour-over Finca Amalita (that is his farm, so cool!), which was made in a vandola, and to this day, I have not had a better cup of coffee, and I really need to find some time to go back. Anyway... long story short, buy some Cortez Coffee.”

The Ogbono is AMAZING! 🤤🔥 I’ve ordered it over 20 times from this restaurant, and it is consistently delicious! The flavor, spice, and perfect draw are everything you want in a good Ogbono soup.
I’ve tried it with tripe, goat, fish, and mixed meat. The goat and tripe were great, but the mixed meat is my favorite because some of those beef pieces are unbelievably tender—they practically melt in your mouth!
If you love some heat, you can also ask for it extra spicy. 🌶️🔥

“Ordered the large Chicago style pizza. It is exactly the proper ratio of crust/sauce/cheese/sausage. Yeah, it's deep dish. But not eighty two billion tons of burnt on the outside/doughy bleh on the inside with a tablespoon of ketchup and the cheapest dollar store greasy pepperoni swimming in the middle. The sauce they used is pretty close to bolognaise, more tomato and a bit less sausage. The tomato is allowed to shine right along with the protein and carbs. That satifying rope bridge of mozzerella tops it, from crust to lip. Had an appetizer plate to start. Mushrooms, mozzerella bites and fried ravioli, done just right. Do they have an air fryer in the back? Not too much oil remained to ruin the crispy goodies underneath. Much thought has been put into the menu. Balance has been found in their kitchen. Two IPA's and three Pepsi's later my partner in crime and I were well and truly stuffed. Punched a respectable hole in $100, with gas money to spare. Don't settle for gas station pizza or cardboard and ketchup. Aquaint yourself with the high watermark that Lou and his band of merry misfits have established. Widen your net. Wet your whistle. Stuff yer face. Is there better pizza out there? Yeah. But I bet you'll drive an hour to find it. Round up your circle, pool your dusty wallets and get in there. Memories don't make themselves.”

He this time delivered to our home for a Celebration of Life for our son.
