“I recently revisited this restaurant after being away from the Valley for several years and it was just as good as I remember! The whole snapper was fried to perfection, the calamari was soft and the dipping sauce was delicious!! Can’t wait to come back and try out some of the other items on the menu!”

“First time here, food was fresh and flavorful, we also got the carne asada nachos, they were good - chips were still crispy and had a lot of toppings. Rice and beans taste homemade which was great!

Only cons: there is a weird smell upon entering that kind of makes you lose your appetite before receiving your food. Tables/chairs are super worn down.
I’m not sure if they share the bathroom key with homeless in the area (bathroom is outside) but from the looks of it (which is very kind) at the same time it’s unsanitary to those who are paying and using the restroom then sharing the bathroom key with homeless people.”

“We used Taqueria Obson to cater our bicycling event. The food was fabulous and we received so many compliments on it! All the ingredients were fresh and they were pleasant people to work with. I will definitely use them again! I can't find the rating stars, but would gladly give them 5! The food was delicious and reasonably priced.”

“Crazy...

We walked in at 7pm on a Saturday night and got the only 2 open seats! We had the cucumber salad and the Pollo Asado plate. It filled us both up with extra which we have to the first houseless person we ran into.
The dishes were awesome. Especially the peppers in sauce.”

“The overall ambience is quaint and cozy in and outdoors. Service is friendly, speedy, and thorough. They know the menu and are happy to suggest items depending on your mood and spice desire. Food is over the top delicious!!! Can’t wait to go back.”

“Stopped by for their Monday $25 burger + wine pairing and it was so worth it!! I did try their house orange wine which was just okay, but the burger was amazing!

My girlfriend also wanted an espresso martini, but they were 'sold out.' But it was only 5pm on a Monday, I wasn't sure how that was possible.

We were also at a relatively small dining table and there was no where to put our purses down, I really wish small hooks under tables were more standard!

I'd definitely be back for their Monday burger special.”

“Platform 18 is a very fun experience! Wait staff was very professional and fun. We particularly appreciated our waiter, Parker, who was both attentive and personable. The 1920's train decor is very unique, and the moving screens provided a nice atmosphere. My husband said that his drink was one of the best he has had, and I appreciated the non-alcoholic options. We really enjoyed are visit, and are also are adding this to our list of unique places we want to bring out-of-town guests.”

“We went and had such a good experience. This is my new favorite restaurant. All dishes were perfectly seasoned with the right amount of sweet, savory and sour. We all shared several appetizers and entrees. Pork dumplings, chicken skewers and my favorite the beef salad. The dressing …. I could and have eaten it with a spoon. As entrees we had the short ribs, crispy pork belly with broccoli and a chicken and noodle dish and it all was super tasty. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and be sure to make reservations.”

“Hands down the best Asada Fries in Arizona and best I've ever had. The service is world class and better than what you see in 5 star resturants. This will be part of the planning whenever I'm in town. Can't say enough great things.”

“My husband and I visited Private Taste to choose desserts for our wedding. Sarah was happy to help us switch from a cake to cupcakes, and she made the whole experience wonderful.
We are both deaf, and Sarah was very accommodating. She communicated clearly by reading lips and using text-to-speech. She was patient and never made us feel rushed or dismissed. She was also warm and friendly, and explained all the flavors and details beautifully.
The atmosphere was lovely and welcoming, and so many of the flavors were amazing! I was especially impressed by the gluten-free cupcake—it was the best I’ve ever had: moist, rich, and full of flavor. Gluten-free cakes and cupcakes can often be dry, but these were perfect. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs gluten-free options. Several of our guests told us the gluten-free cupcakes were the most delicious and flavorful ones they tried!”
