“We stopped here for an early dinner while waiting for a delayed flight to arrive. We fell in love with this authentic Mexican restaurant. The food was so fresh and tasted excellent. Although the red salsa wasn't my preference the green salsa was amazing! I had a chicken Taco and my husband has a chicken quesadilla. Someone next to us was having the Birria which looked amazing and another table had a ginormous bowl of soup that also looked so good. We will absolutely be back. Also our waitress had the happiest demeanor and the best smile.”

“Like an authentic Mexican Country Restaurant, unpretentious, very cheap in what appears to be a Mexican Neighborhood in side of a Mexican Mercado or Market Place as if in side of a fort !They seem to be serving mostly Mexican population and don’t even serve regular American Coffee.Food quality is good and authentic!You even have to buy the water in bottles!.Their Guacamole and Hot Sauce is very good and authentic.Don’t expect good coffee at all, that is unfortunate.”

“Needed a coffee boost before I hopped on the road and found this wonderful gem ran by the sweetest woman. She welcoming and even offered to make me another coffee if I didn't like the one I had (I loved it btw). Got a Latte with cinnamon and it was delicious.”

“Truly exceptional. They have nailed the upscale tasting menus. There are plenty of add ons, but zero pressure to upsell anything. Each course features a couple of different options, ensuring there's something you'd like to eat. Usually with these types of restaurants there are multiple selections you don't want. It's beautifully tucked away near Old Town. Will be back!”

“I hardly ever leave reviews but I truly felt like this place deserved it. This is the best Mexican food I’ve had in Phoenix. Not only that, but the staff were so incredibly nice. My husband and I ordered an online pickup when I went inside to pick it up and it wasn’t ready they offered me a seat and water. I didn’t wait even 10 minutes over the suggested time for pickup. Everyone I came into contact with was friendly and the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. We got a chicken torta, asada sope, shrimp cocktail, guacamole and chips. Our total was around $63 with a tip. We thought it was a good price for the quality and quantity of food. We will definitely be back!”

“My kids and I had a GREAT time at YCs Mongolian grill. You pay per bowl kids size, medium or large. Then you stack it as full as possible with protein, veggies, and top it off with noodles. There are extra bowls by the sauces where you get to create your own sauce. They have a board with suggested sauces but we created our own.There is also a rice and soup bar included with your entree. “Valentine has been on my list for a long time so when we finally made it to Melrose for dinner we pulled no punches on our ordering. If we didn't get everything on the menu we were close. The restaurant itself is cute and delightfully photogenic which helps set the tone for a great meal. On the cocktail front, most were good. The only standout to me was the hatch chili margarita served in a glass boot which was as tasty as it was eye catching. Similarly, most of the food was above average with nothing being bad. The Elote pasta is the standout - it was outstanding. Basically this is a carbonara style pasta with Elote flavors instead of the traditional bacon. The execution on this dish is perfect. Prices are quite high for what you get on most dishes and cocktails and if there was more value, I'd likely have a better rating. That said, I'd return and I definitely would like to come back for pastries from the coffee bar if driving by in the AM.”

“We saw Thanks A Brunch pop up on Uber Eats. Since they had some vegan options, we decided to try them out. We got 2 Vegan Breakfast Burritos and 1 Vegan Pesto Breakfast Sandwich. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Part of our party is not Vegan, and they loved the food as well. We will definitely order again and try out all of their options. So happy we found them.”

I don't even think they make it there but where ever it came from it's delicious and paired perfectly with my vanilla latte. Service was great, and the outdoor swing and climbing vines are so cute and quaint. There's something whimsical about this shop, makes me want to come back for more!”

“Eliot is the best. He always comes in here with a cheerful attitude. He remembers our order. He is conscientious about seeing when we need refills on drinks and always prepares a drink to go. It’s kind of hard to chat him up because The Restaurant is always busy and everybody wants to sit in his section. He is very popular here and we choose to come to this Dennys over others because of him despite the extra driving distance.”
