“....that secret sauce though.... On one of my monthly walk, talk and drops (flyers) I stopped in here on the good word of a friend in the know. He was right. This place is top notch! Malki, the owner, was working as usual and wearing many hats. She prepared the chicken shawarma as if she’d made it hundreds of times. It was quick and many others were right behind me waiting to put in. An order for the famous wrap. I like everything on it and extra spicy with the secret sauce. Pure deliciousness in every bite. Fast and friendly service and to top it all off, Malki is an awesome community member, participating in making the corridor a better place for the many local businesses. Only On Apache man! ...... I have been in community economic development (neighborhood level economic development) since 2012, helping start ups and small businesses to grow from surviving to thriving. My focus areas are commercial and cultural business districts, generally around public transit. I’ve assisted over 1000 businesses in all areas of technical assistance, access to capital and direct grants.“

“Great experience at CAVA! I ordered a lamb meatball bowl with half rice and half greens. Very tasty, and they don’t skimp on ingredients! I had the falafel last time…very good. My husband had a steak pita and he said it was amazing! We will definitely be back. I love how Mediterranean has become popular in the fast casual food industry.“

“Lunch was a couple of gyro and salad plates. They offer several ways each can be made. The Mediterranean gyro and Greek salad were excellent, though I asked for no hummus on the gyro and got it anyway.
Portions are generous and the taste is authentic, but we prefer another place
for even bolder flavours.
It is apparently no longer Mika's, but now is called Elli's Greek. Same menu but with a couple of additions.
Atmosphere is nothing special, but you will feel comfortable.“

“Friendly service, great prices, generous portions, delicious food! Will definitely be back. The chicken shwarma wrap was a standout, and kebab pita was great. We couldn't pass up the homemade desserts, but we were so full from dinner, we took it to go. We thoroughly enjoyed the baklava later that night. Don't skip it!“

“Nice little place in Tempe for some casual Greek. We opted for outdoor seating on one of the last nice days before the summer heat kicked up! Went with a classic Gyro & fries, then ended with a slice of baklava cheesecake (too rich for a single person, but JUST right if you share or have the self-control to take home leftovers)“

“Visiting Tempe, AZ and it was strongly recommend by our daughter to eat at Kalos Grill. We all had Rice Bowls (1 - falafal and 2 - lamb). Holy Moly folks, this was, hands down, some of the best I have had!! The flavor, the amount of food, the presentation, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I recommend this place 110%!! Support the Kalos crew!“
