“I think it's simply my favorite restaurant in Tempe. The Ramen is excellent, but I'm addicted to the egg bowls. I think I've tried everything on the menu at this point, and I can confidently say you literally can't go wrong here. The owner and his family are all wonderful people as well, just a pleasure to stop in and chat with over a bowl of Ramen.“

“My impressions on my food and drink:

I had the Melon Creamy Soda, which was refreshing and delicious!

The Takoyaki balls are pancake balls with octopus in the middle of them. They’re surprisingly delicious and quite wonderful!!! 🤤

I didn’t like the Crunchy Spicy Yellowtail Sushi. I haven’t had yellowtail fish before and it wasn’t appealing to me. Plus, the sushi wasn’t made the way I’m used to having it.

The seaweed salad was awesome! 👍

The service:

The service was done very well! I was attended to right away. Also, it was easy to get Mia and the other workers attention when I needed it.

Both workers were respectful and kind. 👍

The atmosphere:

The place was nice and quiet when I came in, but there was music put on soon afterwards. Not all of the music was to my liking, but I have no control over what music they decide to play.

The place was very clean.

I would come here again. I think it’s worth it. 👍“

“I’ve been coming to Dozo for the past 5 years. Every single time has felt so nurturing. The staff is very attentive and caring. The food is delicious. I love their ramen and sushi options. Cute and cozy atmosphere that isn’t too loud so you can have connecting conversations if you bring friends 🥰“

“Got Uber eats from Silverlake Ramen today. It came quickly and neatly packaged, which I loved, however, portion of soup 🍜 was much smaller than it is on location, liquid barely filled the bowl it was brought in , Leaving clients with the impression that unless we go in person to Silverlake Ramen, (Which is a cool location in general ) should probably just skip it :( -“

“I’m a Japanese person living in Arizona, and I really appreciate having a place like this nearby where I can get relatively affordable, authentic Japanese food.

I usually order the katsudon, which is consistently satisfying. The ramen is a bit overcooked for my taste compared to what you would expect in Japan, so I always request the noodles to be cooked firm when ordering.

The atmosphere is also very nice and photogenic, which makes it a good spot for dates as well.“
