“We are in town from Washington and have nothing but great things to say about Thirsty Lion. We went in for happy hour and bought 5 appetizers ( fried spicy cauliflower was our fav) . Multiple drinks. The waitress Karlie was a huge highlight of our visit, very friendly and knowledgeable. Never an empty drink or dirty plate on the table. You could tell she enjoys her job. We will be back whenever we are in town.“

“Very pretty in the evening it is super crowded,not a fan of big crowds so if you like less people go way before dinner. Servers were great,new server was also great. Its very pretty inside and outside.It is super loud,but,here its pretty empty earlier.=)“

“I was very impressed with the unique offerings at this quaint, out of the way eatery; the menu appears to have something for just about everyone. We stopped by for lunch this week which was the first visit for both of us. I ordered one of the Vegan options and my lunch companion ordered the new French Dip, both dishes were exceptional and the service could not have been better. Of all the new restaurant finds I have come across over the past few years, this place tops my list. Looking forward to my next visit, there are so many unique menu options I am eager to try!“

“One of my favorite spots to eat and drink in Phoenix. Plenty of beers on tap to choose from and also a good selection of cocktails. Everything I’ve eaten here has been excellent - my personal favorite is the buffalo chicken wrap. The crush (smash) burger is a close second, however. The patio/balcony area has incredible views of Camelback Mountain and the surrounding desert landscape. If you’re in the area, this place is a must!“

“Dexter was fantastic!!! Give him a raise, he was the best bartender in all of downtown Phoenix!! He was personable and he served great drinks. I enjoyed the My Dear Ronda and the Hibiscus Daquiri. The Dustcutter is a great stop if you find yourself in downtown Phoenix!“

“The food and service were both exceptional!! We know great food and love to cook. We are often disappointed when dining out, but not at CPH. We ordered the chopped salad, short ribs, meatloaf and gooey butter cake. Absolutely knocked our socks off!! The flavors were deep and complex and everything was perfectly prepared. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough!! (The atmosphere is also really lovely!)“
