“Randomly found this coffee shop online when looking for a new spot to meet my friend. AMAZING!! All the staff is extremely friendly and personable. Great drinks and good prices. I love that they’re open super late; it was so nice not to rush out of there and catch up with a friend. Parking was easy to find. I will be coming back! If you get the chance, try their version of the “viral” dot cake. It’s the best one I’ve had! So yummy!“

“Let’s see if you care enough to respond- So disappointed!Why are you charging for 20 oz drinks and serving in obviously undersized cups that when weighed are only 15 oz including the cup?!? Using holiday cups w your logo and paying for them by undercutting what your regular loyal customers are paying to get is a lowsy way of doing business. Stop using the undersized cups to up off your regular loyal customers as a means of paying for your holiday cups! Or, 🤔 maybe customers should be warned that they’re not getting what they are paying for- unsavory and poor business practices. And update your menu! No excuse to not serve sugar free and low fat options when diabetics and weight conscious clients are also paying clients who now have to go elsewhere because you don’t serve them! Shame on Bikini Beans! Or did you think that girls in things w sweat dripping off their bodies while making our drinks and overly sugaring drinks will make up for inadequacy?!? And make sure that your scantily clad servers at least wear antiperspirant and take the time to write what the drink is on the lid so when omeone orders two or more (as I have been for sometime now) they can actually tell which drink is which! Do the photos below look like something you’d pay for and actually consume w confidence?!? Now let’s see if Bikini Beans even cares enough to reply!“

“The coffee is incredible here. I feel like I get something different every time and I’m never disappointed. My only problem is that I can never work my way through the entire menu, especially because they have fun new seasonal drinks frequently! I only wish they had a seating space—they only have a couple of chairs because it’s a small space. Do note they have a surcharge for purchases made via card.“

“This quaint coffee shop sits in a small courtyard with beautiful, lush plants surrounding it. You could walk right past it and not even know it is there, but it is worth finding. “Great staff, quality food, and excellent service. We had a small issue with one of our dishes, and the team addressed it immediately and professionally, which we really appreciated. The restaurant was busy with several tables ordering around the same time, but the kitchen and staff handled it without missing a beat.

We tried a nice variety of the menu, including salads, pasta, and lamb, and everything was very good in its own right. The ingredients tasted fresh, the portions were solid, and each dish felt well prepared. Between the quality of the food and the way the staff handled our experience, Opa left a great impression. We would definitely come back.“

“Love this place. Have been a customer since before they moved to their current location.

Staff are always friendly. The ambience is chic and cute and comfortable and I love it. Other coffee shops should take a page from their interior design book. :) Also, they have this adorable little photo booth.

Biggest limitation is there aren't a lot of electric outlets...so not really a premium place if you're looking to work and need to be plugged in. Also, BIG windows, so it can be a bit bright...but that's a matter of preference - I like a little darkness, but lots of folks will appreciate this.

P.S. Also, if you've been to their Ahwatukee location...totally different vibe...a lot friendlier and warmer here...whereas the Ahwatukee location can feel a bit clinical and the staff a bit cold.“

“I went to this Press Coffee every day during my business trip, and it quickly became my go-to spot. Their lunch options are excellent, and the cold brew is especially great.

Everything on the menu from sandwiches to burritos and breakfast items is tasty, fresh, and good quality without being too heavy or greasy.

They also have a nice little outdoor patio, which makes it a very pleasant place to take a break.“

“One of my favorite healthy places to get breakfast or lunch when I'm on this side of town! Portion sizes are good for me, I ate half my veggie burrito at this point in the pic. The Paradise Glow drink tastes very good, no crash. A tad bit pricey, I added 2 extras in my burrito and altogether was $20. They do have good deals sometimes and points do add up for discounts! Enjoy!“

But I was pleasantly surprised at how cute and nice this Cafe was, how great the food was including the drinks, and how friendly and quick the staff was. This was our first time in and we'll leave back for sure with the kids. They had freshly squeezed orange juice, the coffee was awesome, and the food was so incredibly tasty and fresh!“

“This review for Cortez is long overdue. To add the very short of it at the start, if you live in Arizona and drink freshly roasted coffee daily and you are not buying from Cortez, you need to at least try a bag. My first order was because it was cheaper than other local specificity roasters. I keep returning for more because of Cortez’s unique selection of odd and exciting fermentations and processes (Juicy Lulo springs to mind quickly). It is some of the best coffee you will ever have. Story Time: Sorry, not sorry. I used to go down the street from work and pick up bags from another Arizona roaster; however, I was laid off from GM along with over 900+ other people. I found Cortez by searching for a local coffee roaster that I could order by mail that would not break the bank to save some money. I made my first order on Nov 8th, 2023, and ordered a bag of Columbia Ocampos, plus some other small 8oz bags from Cameroon. I made my first cup of Ocampos and quickly realized that it was one of the best cups of coffee I have had, and with that, he had me hooked because, on Nov 22nd, I ordered a second order, then Dec 10th, Dec 22nd; you get the idea... I have been drinking coffee daily from Cortez for over a year, and each new, unique coffee gets better and better. My standard order is a monthly 2lb bag of Vulcan Azul for espresso and each new drop. When writing this, it is Colombia Vergel, which is just… amazing! It is fruity, acidic, and a real treat for the senses; who knew coffee could be so wild and flavorful! I had the pleasure of meeting Ron Cortez at his cafe (The Bright Side) in Tempe once a few months ago. He was an absolute pleasure, and I felt I could speak with him about coffee for quite a while. I ordered a pour-over Finca Amalita (that is his farm, so cool!), which was made in a vandola, and to this day, I have not had a better cup of coffee, and I really need to find some time to go back. Anyway... long story short, buy some Cortez Coffee.“
