As an ASU student, I stop here almost every morning, and their matcha is truly the best I've ever had nothing else compares. But what makes this place special is the people.

“Tamosan is one of my favorite spots in the PV/Scottsdale area! My friend and I come in frequently to study and hang out in their comfy atmosphere. Favorite drinks are an iced Bloobies matcha, banana matcha (limited time) or an iced latte with cinnamon and honey! “I have been coming here since they were on the corner of 7th, and I absolutely love this place. The coffee is perfect, the seasonal drinks are fun, and the new cake flavors they roll out have been amazing. Mika (I hope I spelled that right!) is one of my favorite people to see here — always a great experience. Locally brewed beers (even nonalcoholic rootbeer) on tap; Mythic Goat's amazing coffees; a fabulous deli; kitchen producing paninis, fresh-baked croissants, and killer cheese/salume boards ... I could go on!! They have Trivia nights, the locals do Game Nights (Mexican Train Dominoes are the current obsession); there are wine tastings ... I DRIVE to come here several times a week.“

“I love this coffe place, the ambient is unique! My only suggestion is to add some healthy balanced dishes to the menu...I will not have somewhere else for food. I enjoyed their orange juice and coffee.
A note about customers: I noticed a few dog owners with their dogs coming in. It is an outdoor setting, but still watch out for dog allergies if you have them acute. I cannot tolerate dogs inside the house, but outside I am ok.“

“This cafe is a great local spot to visit if you are ever in Arizona. The aesthetic of the place feels very comfy and gives local vibes. The friendly staff is a plus as the service was wonderful. This place is great to meet up with friends, relax, or even have a quick business meeting. The coffee is high quality and tastes amazing. The coffee taste is slightly different and tastes a bit sweeter than other comparable coffee places. They even have different types of designs that go on top of the coffee. This place also provides healthy organic options for drinks as well which is great for health conscious individuals. Besides the drinks, you have the choice to get some local bakery items along with your coffee as well. I personally did not try the baked goods but heard they were great from other people. I would say the average amount spent here is between $5-15 per person depending on if you get a snack. The cafe is in a small town so you could also grab a coffee and a snack then go shop or check out other local stores. The entrance was a little confusing because it was in the back of the store. Bright Side Cafe is inside of The Mercantile which is a little boutique shop. The only entrance was towards the back if you wanted to be right where the coffee shop was. If not, you would have to walk through the entire store to get to the cafe without any signs showing you where to go. On their Google listing, they should have the parking situation and directions on how to directly get to the cafe. This would make it a lot easier for people to find if they just park in the right spot instead of walking through the whole store.“

“Let’s see if you care enough to respond- So disappointed!Why are you charging for 20 oz drinks and serving in obviously undersized cups that when weighed are only 15 oz including the cup?!? Using holiday cups w your logo and paying for them by undercutting what your regular loyal customers are paying to get is a lowsy way of doing business. Stop using the undersized cups to up off your regular loyal customers as a means of paying for your holiday cups! Or, 🤔 maybe customers should be warned that they’re not getting what they are paying for- unsavory and poor business practices. And update your menu! No excuse to not serve sugar free and low fat options when diabetics and weight conscious clients are also paying clients who now have to go elsewhere because you don’t serve them! Shame on Bikini Beans! Or did you think that girls in things w sweat dripping off their bodies while making our drinks and overly sugaring drinks will make up for inadequacy?!? And make sure that your scantily clad servers at least wear antiperspirant and take the time to write what the drink is on the lid so when omeone orders two or more (as I have been for sometime now) they can actually tell which drink is which! Do the photos below look like something you’d pay for and actually consume w confidence?!? Now let’s see if Bikini Beans even cares enough to reply!“

“The atmosphere is so cute and reminds me of a cabin in the woods, complete with a fireplace, couch, and cushioned armchairs. There is a lot of “America” vibes going on, from country music playing through the speakers and donations collected for the military. Also, their drinks are yummy and surprisingly inexpensive compared to Starbucks.“

“Lunch at Beginner’s Luck in Old Town Scottsdale was amazing. The vibe is fun and laid back, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a midday meal while exploring the area.

The food was outstanding and was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything we tried was delicious and well portioned, and it easily stands out from typical lunch spots in the area.

“Thea (the owner) is awesome!! Love having this hidden gem in my neighborhood. I come every week and she’s awesome, best price for drinks anywhere, and a great vibe inside.

There’s always puzzles and games to play too so it’s a fun place to go and just hang out.

The prices are so reasonable I always leave a 30% tip and it’s still cheaper than other coffee shops.
