“We found this place on accident and what a happy accident it was! This cutely decorated, instagramable looking coffee shop is hidden away inside of a apartment complex and business area off of McDowell nearby the Desert Botanical Garden and Papago Park, which is where we were headed before stopping at Daily Drip. I think their menu is a little too big honestly since it's a lot to look at and decide from. It's 7 TV screens of items, that's quite a bit. They could successfully pair down their items and people would still love it. This is a personal preference though, as some people love places with huge menus, I prefer a more concise menu to help with the decision fatigue that comes along with too many choices. However, all that means is that I will come back and try some of the other items that I thought sounded yummy. Today I was super happy with my choice. I got the iced coconut blue matcha latte. It's delicious. My honey got the cocao turmeric latte which is very good too. It's like a sweeter golden milk latte. It would have been better at 50% sweetness, but that's just our preference. I usually think most drinks are made too sweet so we could have asked for it to be adjusted. Next time I plan to try a coffee drink, crepe, and hopefully have room for their good looking deserts. The chicken pesto toast we shared today was really tasty.“
“I visited this establishment recently with a friend who had been here once before. Everything was really delicious. The service was excellent. My friend and I both had the honey lavender latte and I would highly recommend it. I got the Eleanor Benedict, which was really good. My friend got scrambled eggs her way and enjoyed it. Both of us got the potatoes that came with and I didn't need to add any seasoning to the potatoes they were so delicious! I think it's my new favorite brunch place and I cannot wait to go back.“
“After grabbing a few books at The Poisoned Pen bookstore, I strolled over coffee. Spring in Scottsdale is beautiful, and Old Town is lively with spring training tourists all around. It was a gorgeous morning to hang in Old Town. The shop is in a small old converted garage attached to a building with multiple independent businesses in one room shops. Each weekend it's a hang out for car enthusiasts. It's such a cute little spot with trees and grass and room to move for little ones and furry ones.I wanted cold caffeine, and the baristas suggested a chili & maple iced latte. It was a perfect blend of slightly sweet with a little bite. I sat and read while I listened to the conversations around me from all of the out of towners. I really do love Arizona in the spring.“
“Today is our 2nd time here while visiting Scottsdale. Super friendly baristas, and very cute and relaxing environment! LH knows their coffee and have scrumptious baked goods. My hubs and I ordered cortados and a Lemon Raspberry cookie. We enjoyed every sip and bite! We usually like our cortados smaller but the taste was great! We also don’t think the cookie was GF even though we were told it was. If you are gluten intolerant just order coffee. =)“
“Cute, hidden gem of a coffee bar in a residential area literally a stone's throw away from the hustle and bustle of Old Town Scottsdale. I needed to get some work done and initially tried to go to Sips but they were closed today at 4pm! I fired up my Yelp app and checked Google also and this place seemed legit so I gave it a try. This is right off 69th St and tucked slightly into a residential area. I parked on the street and walked in. Once inside, it's a community oasis. Lots of people inside having coffee, beer, working. Barista was very nice and welcoming. I ordered a 12 oz iced latte with oat milk with some caramel. Total came to under $10 with tip. I sat outside and batista brought me my drink. Wifi available and lots of neighbors definitely come here. Dogs are also allowed and there were some really adorable ones here. I'd definitely come back to this spot as it is low key, friendly, chill and a great spot!“
“My boyfriend and I had the best experience here. We were visit from Chicago and tried this restaurant out on Easter Sunday. Our food came out sooooo fast!!! We ordered and turned around then boom there was our food hahaha. Everyone in the atmosphere were so kind from the front door to the waitress to those not even servicing us. Let’s not mention how great the food was. My boyfriend cleaned his plate!!! I left like one piece of bacon and 4 small cuts of pancakes. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone especially visitors.“
“My love language is doughnuts so everywhere we travel we find a doughnut shop. This might be one of my all time favs. We actually rode our bikes from The Scott and it was so worth it. We ordered the lemon and braspberry. Both were so fresh, light, airy, and just tasty. The lemon doughnut was like something I have never tasted...the consistency was insane! We also took three doughnuts back to the hotel. All were like no other! We can't wait to go back on a vaca to Scottsdale and try more doughnuts!“
“Dropped by here on Easter; surprising that they were open and happy that they were! The two employees that helped us were super funny and accommodating! The cherry on top was the gelato, but the customer service is top notch! The atmosphere was very clean. Thank you for making our evening! Highly recommend this spot!“
“Adorable coffee shop in North Scottsdale. Their chai was so good and I saw they offer coffee flights which looked delicious. What makes this place truly special is their pottery classes. The instructor was incredibly patient while guiding the group through the planter making process. Highly recommend and I will be back to try the coffee flight!“
“This is my fourth visit to Amelia's and the food and service have been consistently exceptional. I keep bringing new friends here and they all love the vibe. Tonight they also had live music, which we loved. The cheese and charcuterie board is delicious-especially the tangerine marinated olives-and don't miss the southwestern board-my friend raved about her enchilada. My new favorite place to dine!“
“We are used to being spoiled with great French bakeries in Canada. This place does not disappoint! The creativity is amazing, starting with the pumpkin pie spice croissant! We came at the end of the day and bought a baguette - but the rumor is that the bread sells out by 9 in the morning so get their early! We went home and had toasted slices of baguette with fontina cheese and pickled red onions - a great dinner for a cold night. We’ll be back before 9 AM next time!“
“I go here a lot for coffee. Place is nice and great seating areas. They have great espresso but I feel like I am always getting someone new to making coffee drinks and they end up messing up my drink in one way or another. It's not complicated. Needs consistency. Otherwise it's a good spot.“
“This place is a gem! The coffee & pastries are so delish and the atmosphere is very open & easy going. The baristas are all super friendly. Really great music playing at all times too. So many seating options available. Also they sell mythical coffee by the bag and sweet little bags made from indigenous people in Columbia. Highly recommend.“
“Scoop and Joy is fun and amazing! Their ice cream styles are my favorites now. My brother told me once to try this place because, according to him, Scoop and Joy have unusual and pretty delicious desserts, especially ice cream. I've been a big fan of ice cream my entire life, and this place is truly a heaven for me. It's so good and amazing! Can't wait for my next funnylicious ice cream!“
“Vibrant full flavored coffee. On the fruity side but still well rounded.I enjoyed a decaf expresso shot which stood on its own without cream. And which was surprisingly robust for decaf. The place has a really classy modern decor and the server was polite, friendly, and professional.“
“Widest range of gelato options. And all tempting and surprisingly different from one another. They are very generous in giving out samples. The ambiance is well for the food. They have mole outside seating to bring your dog with!Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Almost all gelatos seemed vegetarian.Parking: Ample parking around the place. It’s a big complexKid-friendliness: Kid friendly“
“The food was amazing! The servers were friendly and helpful. Came here on a Thursday night and there was ample parking. For appetizer, our table shared the house pulled mozzerella and a special for the night, the Rhode Island style fried Calimari. I had the pappardelle bolognese with a glass of chianti for dinner. My fellow diners had the spicy rigatoni and the chicken parmigiana, and they all raved about their food as well. The portions sizes are healthy too. Will come back here again for sure.“
“I dig it! I've been to the location off raintree and North Scottsdale, and now this location at the waterfront. Excellent coffee, plenty of seating, and a cool vibe.Parking: There is underground parking at this location, as well as a parking tower across the street. You'll just have to walk a short distance.“
“I have been to the Pony Express numerous times and the most recent ownership has by far made it one of the best little restaurants in the area. The food is great and service-to-match. Thanks so much for being the go-to restaurant in the area!“
“Customer service, coffee and FOOD were all so good!! It’s such a cute atmosphere too. I asked the barista for a surprise drink and I LOVED it. I can’t remember what they gave me, I think it was lavender and toasted marshmallow later but it was scrumptiousDietary restrictions: Can do a bowl instead of the Sammie (gf friendly)“
“Was having a long day and ordered my Aftershock at the walkup window. I was going to use the app and Reiny the barista said the scanner was down. I told her I could go back to the car to get my wallet and she said "I got this." SO ??? MY DUTCH BROS. Not corporate but HUMAN and every one I go to knows what genuine customer service truly is.“
“A cozy boba shop next to fry's. Inside there is a lot of seating and some board games to chill and hangout. I got the mango matcha with fresh milk with boba. I really enjoyed the drink was not too sweet and tasted amazing. The boba was just ok thought. It was not sweet, which maybe was intentional to not over sweet the drink? They do have a large selection of drinks though which is nice. Service was good and helpful with describing what the drink is.“
“I had an amazing first time here, my waitress Juliana did a great job helping me. And the food was perfect! My drink was always full and I’ll be coming back for sure! Thank you the best first experience I’ve had in a long time at a breakfast place! 10/10“
“My husband and I loved this beautiful coffeehouse! From the aesthetically pleasing and yummy coffee flight to the over the top best pancakes I have ever had to such a delicious breakfast burrito!! We would be here weekly if we didn’t live over 2,100 miles away!“
“When you first walk in you're transported back to the 70s with the wallpaper to decor to the music it's a whole vibe. The donuts are amazing! They are a brioche style donut so they're not as sweet as a regular donut. It's light and airy with amazing flavor coming from their icings as well. You definitely HAVE to try this place out! Highly recommended! They are also women owned business and the service is always excellent!“
“The selection of shakes and fusion teas is amazing! The owner, Mary Beth, made this out of towner feel right at home and made some very awesome suggestions. This is a definite stop for me whenever I’m in Scottsdale! Keep up the great work Mary Beth!!“
“I got there late so the selection was smaller but the donuts did not disappoint. Always fresh and the taste is consistent. The apple fritter or bear claw are phenomenal.Parking: There is plenty of parking spotsKid-friendliness: Several tables and chairs for the family to eat inside.“
“Cute little coffee shop in Scottsdale! This was one of the first places we stopped by upon our arrival from Las Vegas. We chose to grab some coffee and some food before heading out to our hotel. This is a drive-thru place but we decided to go inside. They have lots and lots of drink items to choose from, including ice dragons. Even though I had like three cups of coffee earlier that day, I just had to have a fourth. I ordered their signature creme caramel drink and my parents ordered two other coffees that I don't remember the names of, plus they also picked up a butter croissant. My boyfriend doesn't really drink coffee so he didn't get anything. They had some really good coffee and I wish I swung by here again before going home. The service here was friendly and very quick. Sweetwaters also sells a large variety of items, such as drinking glasses, tea kettles, and t-shirts. They were celebrating the Lunar New Year, which is the year of the dragon, by selling a limited edition glass with a dragon on it. Also included inside were lots of artistic portraits that I truly admired. They have lots of seating inside and outside, which makes it a great place to work or meet up with a friend. One thing that I saw here that I've never seen in a coffee shop before was a printer. This here is a smart idea and I think that all coffee shops should have printers available for their customers.“
“Food was amazing came out super quick and everything was its proper temp. Service was also amazing they were very attentive and answered any questions we had. Lastly the aesthetic of the restaurant is so so so cute very photo worthy for sure. Little hard to find parking lot and building but other than that no complaints.“
“AMAZING coffee, I literally come every day. However, the pastries, my GOD are they dry. I have tried probably over 10 different pastries at Lux in general, and they lack in flavor and moisture. Unless, of course, you like all of your pastries to taste like scones. Please get a new process for baking, your coffee shop would literally be the best in the valley if this improved! Also - Scottsdale location is exponentially better when it comes to customer service. Every interaction I've had here has been pleasant and genuine. Your sister location in downtown phoenix needs some help in that department. (Or some new staff in general lol.) Love you guys! <3“
“I love how intelligent the young kids are that work here, there is definitely hope for the future of children. Nowadays there’s baby’s having babies and baby’s doing drugs playing with guns and I love coming here when I have doubts with mankind because when these young kids are genuinely happy and welcoming it reminds me that there are good people out there I. The world“
“I enjoy this place. The menu is huge with so many options including things you never see anywhere else. The only thing I've tried here that I didn't really like is the coffee, not a deal breaker, just order fresh juice and get a coffee elsewhere.“
“A couple weeks ago I happened to literally walk by Schmooze. Coincidentally I needed to find a brunch spot for a last-minute Bridal Brunch. The second I walked by I knew it had to be Schmooze. The owner, Tony, has put a lot of work into developing the patio & it shows. I felt as if I had been transformed to a European patio. Schmooze does not take reservations but allowed us to use the back patio. It was perfect for our brunch. Plenty of space and private. Plus I loved that people individually ordered at the counter or via QR code so there was no awkwardness with splitting the bill. Now for the food. 10/10 recommend. I got the Egg BLT breakfast sandwich but requested the croissant. It was delicious. The croissant was perfectly flaky. Best one I've had West of the Atlantic. Others in the party ordered the Seared Salmon Salad, BBQ quesadilla, Mediterranean Omelette, and Chilaquiles. Everyone loved their food. This was my first time to Schmooze and I will definitely be back!!“
“Our server PAIGE was amazing! We loved the wine and the place was SO CUTE! We cannot wait to return when Paige is working. Sat-Sun-Mon. She explained all the wine and told us about the charcuterie boards / which we will definitely get next visit! Recommend the Dry Rose and the Mistake wine!“
“This is my favorite Dutch!! I've been a Dutch regular for years, but this location is the only one that has prompted me to leave a review. The morning staff is SO GOOD. Emma and Justin are my favorite and beyond fantastic with the level of service they give and I'm always excited to see them working when I come through! It's such a boost in my mood to stop by first thing in the morning and be able to chat a little bit while I wait for my drink. The rest of the team is great as well and I have never had less than a stellar experience here. See you guys tomorrow! :)“
“This place has a Very delicious combination of CBD cold brews that hit my recovery day just right. I drank mine so fast that I had to take a pic for proof! Utter disbelief. 5 out of 5 Really delicious stuff!Street Brews also provides a variety of cold and hot regular coffe/ herbal tea options that are equally as accommodating, but I truly feel that their real expertise lies in herbal infused Roasts. My wife had the red eye cold brew with caramel and called it a 3 out of 5. Her daughter ventured into the caramel Frappe, but was expecting a McDonald’s look alike and was sadly disappointed by the presentation. 3 out of 5 for her, but I do take the McDonald’s comparison into consideration. They both said that it smelled great in there so I guess the organic coffee beans are maintaining full flavor this time of year. Perhaps a little nugget to consider if visiting Scottsdale in the winter and need a great cafe with great coffee. The wall art was laden with the coffee drinkers mantra: Life begins after coffeeWhich happens to be my wife’s words to live by.All in all the hipster attitude was more asthetic than atmospheric. Not one negative vibe emoted from our barista, and it will be a staple in all of my future coffee endeavors in the Scottsdale area for years to come.“
“I’ve been here a few times… the coffee is amazing, and the avocado toast is to die for… just be aware, because of the popular brunch spot around the corner the parking situation is challenging and the lines (at Press) can be long on the weekend. (I’m assuming folks grab coffee while they’re waiting for their table to become available at the brunch spot.)If you don’t mind sharing the seating options are ample, and they have a great shady patio… if you’re looking for a chiller vibe without as many people coming and going and fewer families, I would recommend visiting at an off hour … but do visit, it’s an amazing spot!*update: they were so busy this last time I visited, there was a mix-up and my avocado toast which i ordered “for here” was in a to-go box in the online order queue just dying there…. Also the outside of the box is pretty dirty, forgivable, but yeah… I won’t be visiting during peak hours on the weekend again.Parking: Super busy strip-mall on the weekend, you may have to take a few laps to find parking. Press is located off a popular walking path, so you could ride bikes or walk.“
“Arrived at the window to a bubbly, friendly and so sweet server named Justin. Soo fabulous and informative. I wasn’t really thinking of getting something, just wanted to look, but when he started explaining to me their gf and non-dairy shakes/sundaes I had to. It’s so rare to find a dessert spot that fits my diet so seamlessly. Had wonderful conversation about Japan as he made me an affogato shake and my wife’s sundae. He was delightful. So grateful to experience this wonderful place. Will absolutely return! The soft serve is coconut based and so good. The seating on the sidewalk was cool, but especially during summer I could see it as less than desirable. Highly recommend you give it a try.Dietary restrictions: Very extensive DF/GF options“
“I've been coming here for almost 15 years. They have been in business for well over 20 and there is a good reason. The coffee is THE best. The espresso drinks are great, but what really sets this place apart is drip coffee and the whole beans. The staff here is also reliably awesome. I've been coming here long enough to have seen several different "generations" of staff and they are always fun, attentive, efficient and kind. The only problem with this place is that when you are somewhere else, or god for it you have to go to a Starbucks, you will be forever disappointed by subpar coffee.“
“Love this local Italian inspired coffee shop beskoke market and wine bar.Stopped in for some mountain views , cappachino and herbal tea . We also split a warmed up bluberry muffin that had a slight sweetened crunch on the outside and filled with warm abundant bluberries in the middle. Would come here just for their muffins. Delicious!!! We also met Hera the owner who has Brazillian roots and grew up in the Amalfi coast. Asked if she had something saw on IG on the menu and she told us all about her dinner specials. They sounded so appetizing we actually decided to return for dinner tonight. Hera opened less than a year ago and the coffee shop has a cool vibe with jazzy music and the mountains up the road so could not resist coming in. So lucky found this little gem in the Scottsdale area from Yelp .“
“We came here with a large group (10 girls) after a long morning walk. They were PACKED! We waited in line for a bit but the line moved pretty fast, which was nice. Some of the girls ordered food while most just ordered drinks. My chai latte was pretty good. The reason this place gets 5 stars is because their breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito were AMAZING!!! The girls who got food shared bites with everyone because they wanted the share the joy of their delicious food. Collectively we agreed their food was amazing and outshined the drinks. I would 100% go back and get breakfast!! If you go here, make sure to go on a hungry stomach and get the food because you won't be disappointed.“
“Cute little neighborhood Cafe friendly staff real homey atmosphere!! They’ve got a comfy couch and coffee tables but they have a nice mix where there is actual seating for dining..,great coffee wonderful menu !! will definitely be coming back because I know I’ll be craving their awesome avocado toast absolutely the best!! And the pricing is completely affordable!!“
“BEST coffee ever!! Abby is so kind and patient and she makes the greatest coffee and always goes above and beyond to ensure a happy customer. I look forward to my morning coffees here and would always recommend this place for its service, coffee and delicious treats!“
“A nice breakfast spot close to the Scottsdale Marriott. We had chiliquilles and chicken and waffles. The coffee was hot and came in large mugs. The service was great and the food served hot and fresh. It was a little over $40 in all and all the plates are priced about the same. The servings are large enough that us oldsters prolly could have split a plate and still be filled. One suggestion, add hashbrowns to the menu!“
“Everything was delicious!! It was our first time here and walked since we live a 20 minute walk away. We tried the cookie cup with the strawberry cheesecake scoop and the vegan chocolate ( just be warned it’s made with coconut milk so it tastes like a Samoa Girl Scout cookie) then you get to pick a macroon flavor which we picked fruit pebbles YUM, and the homemade toasted marshmallow tasted so fresh and delicious. We also got a green tea with strawberry syrup and blueberry and black pearls and it was equally delicious!! Will be back a lot forsure“
“I love this place. I tried their açaí bowls and smoothies and liked them all. I haven't had something I didn't like yet. And I feel like their menu items are pretty unique I never know what to order which is a good thing. This is my go to bev place since I live so close but they're closed on the day I crave it the most.“
“Really cute little shop that offers gluten free crepes! I called ahead and spoke to one of the owners to make sure they could accommodate Celiac and she confirmed to me their entire process to keep their gf crepes safe from cross contact. Once I arrived, both owners walked me through how they cook their gf crepes on a separate griddle and where they get their gf batter from. It was a breath of fresh air for a restaurant to have proper Celiac protocols to offer up without me having to play a 20 questions game. I felt very safe eating here and am thankful for businesses like them who take accommodating allergies seriously!Dietary restrictions: Celiac, gluten free“
“The croissant was incredible! They have gluten-free bread, but I think it’s pretty bad tasting compared to their regular bread. It wasn’t even golden or anything like their regular bread. I wish they had good tasting, fresh gluten free bread.“
“I embarrassingly come here nearly every day for well over a year, and I love everyone that works here! I haven’t had one negative interaction ever. The only reason I wish they wore name tags is so that I can compliment them all by name. Even after they merged stores, the new faces have been so sweet. It’s just a known fact in my circle of people that I just love the Black Rock baristas near my house. Hopefully, this message gets back to them, so they know how much I appreciate them!“
“Fastest service I've probably ever had! We were in a bit of a hurry to make it to the DBacks game and the staff was definitely fast. Food was great and seems like the owner or manager was walking around checking on patrons and was very friendly... seemed genuine ??. We're from Tucson but we'll be back again sometime because of the service and food. We had the avocado toast and the omelette special with coffee and a latte. For the manager/owner, thanks for pointing out that green tomato I thought was an olive ?... delicious.“
