“I love Steve's- it's a short walk from my house and is a great place to take myself for an artist's date! People go there to have conversations, to write, to play cards, to create. It's wonderful. I'm especially fond of their breakfast sandwich on a croissant and their classic. The baristas are the best.“
“These are the best donuts I have ever had! Literally better than even any place in Arizona and Cali. The variety is great and consistently fresh. The donuts are even good saved for the next day. The customer service is great and it is a fun place for kids to pick out donuts. I will be a lifetime customer.“
“My coworkers and I came for breakfast because we had meetings during lunch time and needed some comfort food and we weren't disappointed.I had the eggs Benedict and my coworker had the farm skillet and we shared because we were both torn between the two dishes. It was a great choice. Great service and like I said the food was delicious. Only downside would be the parking but is worth it.“
“First time visiting Tempe- we are heading to Mariners Spring Training. stopped in to have breakfast/lunch. Omg!! so good and seriously the friendliest service. Lafayette, the owner was SO nice. food was outstanding as well. my husband had the best Smoothie he had ever had. highly recommend !“
“Nestled in a quaint plaza, this one-of-a-kind gem effortlessly captivates your attention from the moment you step inside. Offering a diverse array of options, each dish boasts enticing flavors that promise a delightful culinary experience. My wife opted for the Blintz, a tantalizing creation featuring Ricotta cheese, House Strawberry Jam, and Whipped Cream. The Strawberry Jam, was interesting , offered a unique twist that deviated from the expected traditional flavor profile. On the other hand, I indulged in the Caponata, a medley of Roasted Eggplant, Red Pepper, Tomatoes, Capers, and Mixed Greens. Having experienced an extraordinary crepe in France last May, I may have been anticipating a lighter, more calorie-friendly version. The staff, notably Jeff, the amiable owner, exuded friendliness and accommodation. Engaging in conversation, he added a personal touch to our dining experience. The establishment also showcases the works of local artists on its walls, creating an artful ambiance. A small plant gallery further supports local artists and businesses.Immersing ourselves in the relaxed atmosphere and vibrant, hip vibe, we relished not only the delectable dishes but also the overall charm of this unique establishment.“
“Pancakes are delicious and huge any size you get. Food is good. A little loud in the restaurant but very nice place to eat with friends or family. I will return.Parking: Common parking.Kid-friendliness: Good kids menuWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access is available.“
“we are in town for ASU Family Weekend so of course we try to find local hidden gems!! Daily Dose exceeded our expectations!! Jordan out server was so sweet, fun talkative and joined right in on our jokes. the food and our coffees were just absolutely delicious! This was by far a great way to start our day with 2 omelettes, came with all the fixin's and then some; thank you Jordan and staff for hooking up up right!!“
“I love coming to Hurts when in town and brought a new person with me. The quality of the donuts are as always fantastic! A bit disappointed in the decrease in size. Very disappointed on the lack of selection. Karley represents your company in a positive light on top of being helpful, kind, and understanding. Karley deserves to be recognized as an outstanding member of your team!!!“
“Went for the breakfast buffet and was quite happy. Service was great and the view was amazing. Nice when a buffet includes juice, found most don't a charge extra. Food was decent decent but what they lack in food they make up for in service and scenery. Price was high for the limited buffet menu but this place you're really paying for thr view. Didn't realize the Angles spring training was on the opposite side of the hotel during the time I am visiting this area so had to pay for parking but valet was the same price so treated myself. Overall experience was good and will return.Parking: Parking was occupied for spring training. Super friendly valet helped me out by charging same as what I'd pay to park and walk from a long walk away, basically parked as close as to the entrance as possible to the restaurant. And who wants to walk far after and all you can eat buffet.“
“I had my first Waffle House experience at this location and could not be more delighted. This place is filled with charm and I'm a bit jealous there are non in my area.Likes- full transparency. You get to see the servers working on food. It's amazing that they are responsible for taking orders AND making food- clean environment. I have favorite restaurants back home that aren't as clean as this place- I love the decor and styling. Most chain places have dropped nice touches like tile on the wall.- great prices and filling food. I had the special plate that included grits. The waffles were nice and fluffy and the grits were perfectly cooked with a lovely buttery taste. The bacon was crisp but had chew.- Coke drinks (the Diet coke was very crisp)- our server was very friendly and mostly attentive (I probably would have asked for drink refills if she wasn't so busy).- the flatware is good too. I hate when you go to a place that has great food but the utensils are so rough!Kid-friendliness: my kids love it“
“Really amazing place, I came here just last night around 2 am, and the guy working the shift was super nice! Exceptional service, the lady was super sweet as well, my friend dropped his fork and right away she gave us a new one without us having to ask. The food was amazing, the ham was super chewy and the crunchy crispy bacon, the pecan waffle was a HIT for sure. Eggs were perfectly sunny side up as I asked for. I recommend coming here they’re reliable and delicious for an empty tummy. Also pricing is really good for what you get.“
“I always tend to go to restaurants where they have a variety of gluten-free options since I have celiac disease, but when I looked at the menu it says gluten-free but when I asked the server he told me that they do have gluten-free but not everything. I ordered regular eggs hash browns and gluten-free bread. I enjoyed my eggs very much. The hash browns honestly we're a bit oily which as you can see I did not finish. The coffee was a bit cold and when I asked the server she said are you sure? We just literally put a new one out but it was cold . I don't know if it was just me but my coffee was cold .The atmosphere was amazing though . Please make sure you always ask if you are on a gluten-free diet or have celiac.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free/Celiac.“
“Mmm… the photo does not do the experience justice. Groovy Snooze, in the heart of the city's student district, is a nice escape from the golf and cowboy hat-wearing folks closer to the city. Tempe is a land of nose-piercing progressivism, yet this place offers everything for the discriminating vegan or carnivore. For me, the delight was the habanero pork belly bacon - four spicy, thick bits of pig that balanced splendidly with the sweet pineapple upside-down pancakes. One serving was enough for me, and it was served in a creamy cinnamon sauce with a dollop of cinnamon butter in the middle. All so good! Our friendly waiter kept the coffee mugs and water glasses filled. It's a way better option than the chains, and the prices are around the same.“
