“First time there. Restaurant was very nice and clean. Our waiter was awesome, the atmosphere was very pleasant and a nice family place. Food overall was mid. I ordered eggs benedict - the whites on my egg were so runny/raw, instead of ham steak they used sliced ham which wasn't even fried it was cold on top of the english muffin, the sauce was good but overall the best part of the meal was the potatoes which were warm and good., the eggs/ham were room temp if even that. My daughter took me for brunch she likes the place, I wanted to go to a diner, she chose there - I am not a fan. Presentation of the food was nice, but i like my food warm/hot that plate felt like it was sitting there before i was served.“

“The owners are nasty ppl that are literally stealing from guests. The "cash discount" is the guest paying the transaction fees. However, they're charging you for debit card transactions that dont exist. They are pocketing that money! They treat employees like garbage, and the kitchen is FILTHY!!!!!! MO NEEDS TO SEE A PSYCHIATRIST.“

“I took my mother there for brunch and we absolutely loved it! The food is delicious. The vibe lives up to its name, very cozy and quaint. The staff is amazing. We truly enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend this spot and not just because it holds my namesake, “Nook”!🤗“

“Brunch with Mrs. V. @ one of our fave brunch eateries in downtown Gilbert. Frannie ordered the Chili Verde Benedict which she described as absolutely amazingly. I ordered Juan’s Breakfast Tacos (My go to) which had flavor for days. A beautiful Fall day, 85° and sunny, provided perfect weather for outdoor seating. Our server, Camille, was extraordinarily friendly, and engaging. The GM, Mariam visited our table and presented us with a complimentary cinnamon roll pancake (off their “secret” menu) courtesy of Camille, which was incredibly thoughtful and delicious. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!“

“I came in with my mother and waited not too long, it was a reasonable time considering they were busy. I just wanted to recognize the employees for doing what they do and dealing with the people that they do. Me and my mother observed a women belittle the staff because she had a party of 11 and wasn’t sat where she wanted and at the time she wanted when her party wasn’t fully there and the restaurant was full with big parties already. This Women started belittling the staff even before the manager even spoke to her. You could obviously she was a racist women as she also talked down on me for defending the staff(I am a black women) this women spoke about their skin color(the manager was Hispanic, one of the host was I believe black and the other host was Hispanic)
The manager was very friendly to this party and tried to resolve the issue while the women sat there yelling at her before she could speak. I personally asked the women to leave myself as she was causing a seen and was talking so low of the staff. All the host were amazing and kept their cool, I specially wanna give shout out to Adian for standing up for their manager. We later asked to speak to the manager(she said her name was Michelle) she was honestly such a lovely person. She was running food,checking on tables and cleaning floors making sure everything was okay with customers . We wanna give this staff a big KUDOS to all the staff. The food was amazing,fast and the place was surprisingly clean from what we use to see here years ago. I heard the women said she was gonna write a review so I wanted to make sure my story was out before hers, Because they did not deserve the way she spoke to them.“
