“I went to this Press Coffee every day during my business trip, and it quickly became my go-to spot. Their lunch options are excellent, and the cold brew is especially great.
Everything on the menu from sandwiches to burritos and breakfast items is tasty, fresh, and good quality without being too heavy or greasy.

“I almost always have a positive experience here. One thing I wish they would fix is that dreaded block of time in the middle of the day when they don’t use the speaker box to take orders, so it takes twice as long to get your drink. Other than that, I like this place and it’s a reliable go-to for my caffeine fix.“

“The atmosphere is so cute and reminds me of a cabin in the woods, complete with a fireplace, couch, and cushioned armchairs. There is a lot of “America” vibes going on, from country music playing through the speakers and donations collected for the military. “It's a nice and clean store with a pretty good selection of fruits and vegetables in both organic and regular. Nice little deli section is the first thing you pass when you enter. Perfect to get a good sandwich and leave without having to go through the store to exit. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Much more available but I only went in for some fruits...first time here“

“Yesterday, while doing a little damage at Scottsdale Fashion Square with friends, they casually suggested we pop into the Nespresso Boutique to sample a few of their new flavors.
And let me tell you… that was financially irresponsible advice. ☕️💸
Within approximately 60 seconds of walking in, I met Shannon, who immediately became both my espresso dealer and enabler. She guided me through the newest flavors, including the Coconut Vanilla and Yuzu Vanilla, plus a few classics like Pistachio Vanilla and the Chiaro. Somewhere between sipping tiny cups of caffeine and discussing flavor notes like I suddenly host an espresso podcast, I completely lost control of the situation.
One minute I was “just looking.”
The next? I was walking out with FIVE boxes of Nespresso pods… despite the small detail that I do not actually own a real Nespresso machine.
I currently own a single-shot, hand-pump travel Nespresso that I use exclusively while camping. That’s it. That’s the setup. I’ve basically been making luxury forest espresso like a caffeinated park ranger.
But after this visit? That little camping machine is about to become my full-time personality until I inevitably convince myself that purchasing the Creatista Pro is “self-care.”
The store itself was fantastic though; super welcoming, zero pressure, and honestly just a really fun experience. Shannon made the entire visit feel more like hanging out with a very knowledgeable coffee friend than shopping.
10/10 would recommend… And if anyone needs me, I’ll be aggressively frothing oat milk in the wilderness. ☕️“

“This review for Cortez is long overdue. To add the very short of it at the start, if you live in Arizona and drink freshly roasted coffee daily and you are not buying from Cortez, you need to at least try a bag. My first order was because it was cheaper than other local specificity roasters. I keep returning for more because of Cortez’s unique selection of odd and exciting fermentations and processes (Juicy Lulo springs to mind quickly). It is some of the best coffee you will ever have. Story Time: Sorry, not sorry. I used to go down the street from work and pick up bags from another Arizona roaster; however, I was laid off from GM along with over 900+ other people. I found Cortez by searching for a local coffee roaster that I could order by mail that would not break the bank to save some money. I made my first order on Nov 8th, 2023, and ordered a bag of Columbia Ocampos, plus some other small 8oz bags from Cameroon. I made my first cup of Ocampos and quickly realized that it was one of the best cups of coffee I have had, and with that, he had me hooked because, on Nov 22nd, I ordered a second order, then Dec 10th, Dec 22nd; you get the idea... I have been drinking coffee daily from Cortez for over a year, and each new, unique coffee gets better and better. My standard order is a monthly 2lb bag of Vulcan Azul for espresso and each new drop. When writing this, it is Colombia Vergel, which is just… amazing! It is fruity, acidic, and a real treat for the senses; who knew coffee could be so wild and flavorful! I had the pleasure of meeting Ron Cortez at his cafe (The Bright Side) in Tempe once a few months ago. He was an absolute pleasure, and I felt I could speak with him about coffee for quite a while. I ordered a pour-over Finca Amalita (that is his farm, so cool!), which was made in a vandola, and to this day, I have not had a better cup of coffee, and I really need to find some time to go back. Anyway... long story short, buy some Cortez Coffee.“
