“Walked in, it was very dark but it's summer. It was dark, cool and pretty great environment. The cocktails are handcrafted but they are not pretentious. This is a casual and fun environment, they are incredibly friendly, our Mixologist was Kalo and he was awesome. I love this place, I recommend this place for a first date, after work cocktail or anytime. Amazing!“

We stopped by for lunch this week which was the first visit for both of us. I ordered one of the Vegan options and my lunch companion ordered the new French Dip, both dishes were exceptional and the service could not have been better. “We are in town from Washington and have nothing but great things to say about Thirsty Lion. We went in for happy hour and bought 5 appetizers ( fried spicy cauliflower was our fav) . Multiple drinks. The waitress Karlie was a huge highlight of our visit, very friendly and knowledgeable. Never an empty drink or dirty plate on the table. You could tell she enjoys her job. “We have been unimpressed with food since we have moved here. In Gilbert everything tried to be eclectic or unique.... some good... most bad. The Mexican food in this area is junk... I needed a cheap dive for sports with piles of fried tots and this is it. Food was trashy and excellent. Bill was half what I'd spend at most places and the service was friendly. We went in the side entrance and my wife almost made me leave because smokers on the patio, and it felt like it had a clique group. Nah, we had our 1 yo, 3 yo and 9yo with us and even the other regulars made us feel welcome. it's a bit of a drive for us but I'm glad I tried it“
