“I have visited Tom Yum Thai Restaurant on just about every occasion I have visited my parents in Peoria. It is very good food and pleasant staff. On a visit on Wednesday, Megan was working. She immediately recognized my mom and asked why she hasn't been in recently. My mom was very happy to be recognized so warmly. During our lunch, that happened with almost every table! Megan KNOWS all of here customers... and they LOVE her back. With such dedication and commitment, I assumed that she was the owner, but I learned that she isn't. For all the customers I saw in 90 minutes, I can easily say that Megan is half the reason they come. When did you last have THAT influence YOUR decision to go out for a meal? Thanks, Megan! “Wow, what a great meal so unexpected.Especially for that price point!!!! Around $7-$8 per person. The staff is super nice.Patient helps you out with the menu when you haven't been there before. The drying through is a little confusing, though. I could still only downside, as I wanted to have pork, but they mainly serve chicken for the meat. Healthy and delicious everything tastes fresh from the veggies to the grilled chicken. I was very surprised. Portions are big enough to share when meal.Or if you each order your own meal, you'll have enough to have the next day.“

“Ordered to go and it was fantastic, quick service, food was plenty hot after a 15min ride home. Steak medallions were cooked perfectly and super tasty and the chicken madera was superb. Cheesecake & chocolate layer cake were awesome.“

“My fiance and I tried the fish tacos since we saw online that everyone recommended them. They definitely did not disappoint. They were amazing. The fish was breaded nicely and cooked perfectly. Coming out hot with fresh cabbage and onion/cilantro. We absolutely loved and appreciated the nice salsa bar with plentiful amounts of salsas, lemon/limes/jalepenos/onion/cilantro. The mango lime Agua Fresca was so refreshing and a delight for the hot summer days.

We ordered our meals from the self serve screen and had no issues. Easy to navigate and customize if need be. There was a lovely young lady that was already waiting by the register and asked us what size drink we had ordered to give to us after we had ordered.

For the atmosphere I really enjoyed the coastal Baja theme but could tell it was a-little dated.

All in all, We will definitely be back and continue to spread the recommendation’s especially for the fish tacos.“

“My husband and I normally stop and go thru the drive-thru at the Panera on Happy Valley Rd after hiking in the area. We always order the cinnamon crunch bagels. In the last few weeks, we’ve had some of the absolute best, freshest bagels ever but, today, the cinnamon crunch bagel was one of the worst we’ve eaten. It was dry, not much taste, and we both thought it might possibly be a day (or more) old bagel. What’s going on????“
