“We had my grandmother’s 101 birthday dinner here Friday the 15 . There was 11 of us and it was wonderful. Food was delicious, atmosphere was quiet enough for her to be comfortable but what made it memorable was the waiter. The gentleman who waited on us ( brown hair ) was extremely knowledgeable kind patient and attentive. I am only sorry I can remember his name but hope that whoever reads this can use the details and figure it out and give him the recognition he deserves. “I stayed overnight near the airport and looked for a place that served vegan breakfast. What a find! The restaurant is located in a neighborhood in the Coronado Historic district, not some crowded strip mall with a busy parking lot. There was seating inside but I sat outside under huge mesquite trees that kept the temperature comfortable. It was a nice atmosphere. The owner waits on customers and enthusiastically tells them about the different items, all thoughtfully very different. There were lots of dishes I wanted but settled on the Pale Desert, a tofu scramble topped with a large biscuit and gravy. I also got a side of roasted potatoes. My meal was delicious. I also bought this home made rosemary chocolate chip cookies to go. Haven't tried them yet but my I guess they too will be delicious.“

You should definitely order extra servings and bring Early Bird Vegan to potlucks, office parties, family events, and serve it to nonvegans who would have no idea it’s vegan unless they saw the name (I have done so— and even cheese-addicted “vegetarians” (yeah… they need to evolve) are supremely happy with Early Bird Vegan food)!“

They were incredibly easy to work with, our team loved them, and most importantly, the scookies were SO good. They showed up with plenty of time to set up, had fun music playing for our employees, and provided great service and recommendations for everyone. “This was my first experience eating Ethiopian food, and it was fantastic! The menu offers extensive options for vegans and those who prefer healthy foods. My date ordered the vegan combo, and I particularly enjoyed the carrots in the atikilt wot—they were sweet in the best possible way. I ordered the Doro Wat, which was savory and spicy. The injera, a bread that is like a cross between a tortilla and a pancake, was unique and delicious. They serve a variety of drinks, including Mexican Fanta, Sprite, Diet Coke, Coke, and Pepsi. Their traditional tea with honey and ginger was also soothing and a perfect complement to the meal. There's a full-service bar as well. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, with entire tables of families chatting amongst each other. Every month, usually around an Ethiopian Holy Day, there is a buffet. If you're unsure of what Ethiopian food to try, I recommend starting with the buffet. I will definitely dine here again, especially for breakfast, which I just missed this time! Next time, I'll be ordering the kwanta firfir and scrambled eggs for breakfast—it has my name on it!“
