I only rate it a 4 star because I wish the table layouts were better. We had a large party and the table doesn't leave room for the staff to bring the different pots without someone having to move or worry about things being dropped on them.“

“We stopped by Yard House at Westgate on the 4th of July after finding out the fireworks had actually been held on July 3rd. We were a little disappointed, so we decided to grab a drink and a small appetizer instead.

Tiffany was our bartender, and from the moment we sat down, she made us feel genuinely welcome. We haven't received service like that in a long time. She was friendly, attentive, personable, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. Even when she got busy, she made sure we were taken care of.

Marshae also helped us throughout the evening while Tiffany was assisting other guests, and she was just as kind, attentive, and professional. They made a great team, and we truly appreciated the excellent service from both of them.

The only downside was the queso dip. It wasn't what we expected. Rather than a creamy queso for dipping, the cheese on top had become crispy and almost burnt, and my husband ended up scraping much of it off the plate. Unfortunately, it's not something we would order again or recommend.

Overall, the outstanding service from Tiffany and Marshae completely turned our evening around. We came in disappointed after missing the fireworks, but we left having had a genuinely great experience thanks to their hospitality. We'll definitely be back because of them.“

“Located in a strip mall around 43rd Ave and Dunlap. I was greeted by a friendly waitress. I was waiting for friends, and ordered a Thai ice tea. It was delicious. Not overly sweet. It was just right.
All of the choices looked great, and I settled on the lunch special #2 Red Curry Chicken. Lunch specials are served with an egg roll, rice and the entree. It was very good. I will plan to come back soon.“

This time we came to celebrate our 23rd anniversary and we were greeted by our server, Kiah. Best server ever! She was so attentive, very friendly, very professional, and really added to our experience. We laughed together - but she was also respectful of our celebration, and gave my husband & I space to enjoy the food and each other. Next time we come, we will certainly ask to be seated in her area. At the end of our meal, DJ, the General Manager, came by our table to make sure that we enjoyed the food. We sure did - but we also raved about Kiah. DJ was wonderful!, very friendly and appreciative. Thank you Kiah and DJ - you made us feel like royalty. Highly recommend Olive Garden Glendale. “This is not commentary on the food itself, but an issue that customers need to be aware of when ordering delivery. Many restaurants are doing this, and this is yet another...do NOT try to tip the delivery driver through them. They subcontract the services of people like Door Dash, and when a tip is added to the order the delivery driver will never see a dime. The restaurant KEEPS those tips. I always tip in cash myself, because multiple restaurant chains are doing this to drivers that end up making as low as $2.50 in TOTAL for bringing even a large entire catering order to someone. This exact scenario occurred with an order from this location.“

“Assolutamente fantastico!! Never has there been an Italian restaurant that offered so many wonderful choices for just about any diet. Are you kidding me? Zoodles? Spaghetti Squash? This is also one of the few places left that still have angel hair pasta and they use deliciously perfect Roma tomatoes. No sugar added tomato sauce AND everything made in-house? Wow...that's about all I can say about this wonderful gem in the desert. Everything had taste bud pleasing flavor, portion sizes are perfect and at a very decent price. Not to mention service was perfect, immediate and very accommodating. Whether this was a lucky night for us, or the usual for this wonderful place, they have new fans that will back for more. There is a ton of variety to the menu which requires more visits to experience. Don't pass this place up! The only suggestion is the artichoke leaves could be a little more tender using the baby leaves only, however, they are delicious and worth a try.“

“Top marks across the board! My family and I have been dining in here for years and have never had anything but good things to say about them. So for our wedding my wife and I had a German themed wedding that could be described as an old world decorated ceremony and dinner with an Oktoberfest reception. Anyways, we needed food to be catered and there being only about two restaurants in the valley that could support this, we were able to come to an agreement with Chef Luis and his staff here at Haus Murphy's. This was a wedding planned for a max of 175 people to attend, there was not that many to attend but we ordered enough food for that amount of people. Our request was for giant pretzels and stuffed mushrooms for the cocktail hour with their mustard and cheese dips. Main course was Eisbein, The BIG Smoked Beefy Bratwurst, Kilometer, spätzle, potato pancakes, German potato salad, and sauerkraut. Chef Luis nailed it!!! The food was definitely one of THE MOST talked about hits at our wedding and I could not agree more! I love this place and it will always be high on my recommendations for friends and family who visit the valley and is a Downtown Glendale treasure.“
