“We stopped by Yard House at Westgate on the 4th of July after finding out the fireworks had actually been held on July 3rd. We were a little disappointed, so we decided to grab a drink and a small appetizer instead.
Tiffany was our bartender, and from the moment we sat down, she made us feel genuinely welcome. We haven't received service like that in a long time. She was friendly, attentive, personable, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. Even when she got busy, she made sure we were taken care of.
Marshae also helped us throughout the evening while Tiffany was assisting other guests, and she was just as kind, attentive, and professional. They made a great team, and we truly appreciated the excellent service from both of them.
The only downside was the queso dip. It wasn't what we expected. Rather than a creamy queso for dipping, the cheese on top had become crispy and almost burnt, and my husband ended up scraping much of it off the plate. Unfortunately, it's not something we would order again or recommend.
Overall, the outstanding service from Tiffany and Marshae completely turned our evening around. We came in disappointed after missing the fireworks, but we left having had a genuinely great experience thanks to their hospitality. We'll definitely be back because of them.”

The soup portions and the vermicelli bowl portions were quite large. The fresh spring rolls were a touch disappointing (very heavy on iceberg lettuce, small shrimp, no pork). The fish sauce chicken wings were fine, though the wings themselves were small. Service was very friendly.”

Pinball machines and other games. I wondered about the empty parking garage lot but there's more parking in the back. Staff was super nice and helpful. I got a great sour and when I told them it was the reason I came, they gave me a sample of another. They said they change the drinks out about every 2 weeks. Ordered a mushroom Swiss burger that I did not expect much more than average bar food out of but it was huge and delicious. One of the best I've had in a while. I may become a regular.”

“We went to Jimbo's Sports Bar & Grill to celebrate my best friend's 50th birthday, and we had an awesome time.
The live country singer was really good, and the music was loud enough to keep the place fun without making it hard to have a conversation. I had the classic cheeseburger, and it was fresh, juicy, and one of the better burgers I've had in a while. My wife ordered the BBQ burger, and she loved it too.
The crowd was friendly, the atmosphere felt safe, and it was a great mix of locals just out having a good time.
The owner came over to greet us, and you could tell he really cares about his customers. He made sure the birthday boy had cold beer, great food, and good music all night. That kind of personal attention is hard to find these days.
Of course, my best friend and I had to keep an eye on our smokin' hot wives because those Arizona cowboys kept wanting to flirt with them and ask them to dance! 😂 It all added to the fun and friendly vibe of the place.
If you're looking for great food, live music, friendly people, and an owner who genuinely cares about making sure everyone has a great time, Jimbo's Sports Bar & Grill is definitely worth checking out. We'll definitely be back!”

Wow...that's about all I can say about this wonderful gem in the desert. Everything had taste bud pleasing flavor, portion sizes are perfect and at a very decent price. “Top marks across the board! My family and I have been dining in here for years and have never had anything but good things to say about them. So for our wedding my wife and I had a German themed wedding that could be described as an old world decorated ceremony and dinner with an Oktoberfest reception. Anyways, we needed food to be catered and there being only about two restaurants in the valley that could support this, we were able to come to an agreement with Chef Luis and his staff here at Haus Murphy's. This was a wedding planned for a max of 175 people to attend, there was not that many to attend but we ordered enough food for that amount of people. Our request was for giant pretzels and stuffed mushrooms for the cocktail hour with their mustard and cheese dips. Main course was Eisbein, The BIG Smoked Beefy Bratwurst, Kilometer, spätzle, potato pancakes, German potato salad, and sauerkraut. Chef Luis nailed it!!! The food was definitely one of THE MOST talked about hits at our wedding and I could not agree more! I love this place and it will always be high on my recommendations for friends and family who visit the valley and is a Downtown Glendale treasure.”

I would get it again for sure. The fries were nice too. They reminded of frozen fries but didn't have that frozen fry taste. Just the crunch without getting hard and they were pretty much all the same length. I wanted to get meatloaf but they only serve It on Mondays. So we'll see.”
