“My daughter and I visited The Blue Corn Cafe & Bakery today and it was amazing! We were able to sample some of the goodies before we decided. My daughter got a Strawberry Vanilla latte (with no coffee) and said it was the best drink she’s ever had! I got a white chocolate latte and it was wonderful! We got some goodies to go, and we will be back for more!”

“What a wonderful evening having dinner here! We were treated to a show from Jonathan Sherrill and couldn't stop tapping our feet and enjoying all the tunes he shared. On top of that, the food is excellent- our new favorite Mediterranean spot! The lamb is so flavorful, the beef and chicken shawarma are delectable. The salad and pickled veg, baba ganoudh and hummus are perfect pairing. You gotta go!”

“While there is nothing wrong with the offerings, they do become boring midway through your meal. The lack of extra like broccoli, onion, carrot, mushrooms, etc. to balance the meat and rice is disappointing. The service was great and the staff is fun to chat with. The atmosphere wasn't the best and it can be handled. The younger staff members sleeping with electronics and clothing sprawled out was unacceptable in any circumstances.

“I went here for the first time today all the way from Maricopa and it was amazing! So authentic and delicious. My favorite is always the sauces and salad and it didn’t disappoint. A great surprise was the little side dish that came with the bowl! I also went to purchase their lentil soup make at home kit and they provided it for free since it was my first time. That is top tier and genuine service! Highly recommend.”

“Gertrude is amazing! I have to say that first and foremost because when you have service from someone this attentive, this friendly, and this witty??? YOU SING THE PRAISES! So now, for the restaurant. It's very low key, comfortable, great decor and atmosphere. But of course, the important part is the food. I had the spinach stuffed manicotti and OH MY GOODNESS! My wife eats a vegan diet, and had eaten prior to my first time because of all the options. She has never had the same thing twice and as loved absolutely everything! Price wise? It's very affordable and you get bang for your buck! Bottom line, if I'm craving Italian, I cannot imagine going anywhere else. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“I'm giving this place 5 stars across the board. Almost perfect in every aspect. I ordered the Hawaiian plate with BBQ chicken and BBQ beef...absolutely delicious! The portion size is not the biggest, but the quality is definitely there. The mac salad was phenomenal, and had that slightly charred aftertaste with a near perfect texture and flavor. There really isn't too much bad to say here, other than the portion size being a bit small for my liking but that's more a matter of personal preference...I'm a pretty big guy and like to split meals this expensive into 2 meals unless I'm starving. Cost was around $13 which is pretty standard. Definitely recommend this over Love Hawaiian BBQ up the street. Will absolutely be coming back.”

“Really great Thai place. The yellow curry with chicken had a great depth of flavor. Everything was cooked perfectly in the curry. The heat level was a 2 which was very subtle. The egg rolls had nice flavor as well. The Pad See Yew was delicious. The rice noodles were a little over cooked, making them a bit mushy. I got a heat level 3 and it was the perfect amount. The atmosphere and service were fantastic. We will definitely be back.”

“I was shocked when a friend took us to this place. I lived in Phoenix for 11 years before and never been to this restaurant. We drove 30 miles from Gilbert to Ming-Gee. I had my skepticism at first tbh. But after trying their meals. They have earned my business in every ways. They offer Cantonese cuisine that it’s so authentic. It brought back all my childhood memories. It’s just that good.”

“We ordered through the drive-thru. When we went to the window to pay, we learned they accidentally rang in one of our meals as large. They corrected it but gave us a large shake anyway, since they were already making it. When we got home some time later, we realized we were missing one of our orders of fries. It was too far away to go back. Bummer.”

“I want to give a big shout out to the person running the drive through today the 30th of July around 5:00 a.m. I just got off work and decided I was hungry, so I came up ordered my food and went to the window to pay for my food. However, I'm getting my card back after paying and slipped my fingers because I was so tired after working a 10 and a half hour shift. The person running the drive through apologized profusely as if they did it themselves. They kept a cool demeanor the entire time you are very kind prior and after the incident. So I just want to give a big shout out to them for being a great worker and a great person in general. I'm tired and I'm not one to like people this early in the morning but this guy did a stand-up job. Great service great food.”

My only issue is that I ask for certain things when I order the food and they have a hard time accommodating, but other than that everything else is good.”

We had a fairly large party and our waitress was on point. It was our 2nd time coming here and will definitely return. We came on a Saturday at 5pm and got seated immediately.”

“My girlfriend introduced me to this very affordable gem! So, if I could add stars? I would! This is easily the best meal I've had since pre-covid. This is by far the best kept secret in the valley. This place needs to make AZ's #1 list for burger places! This beats out Scottsdale joints by a significant margin. This place's motto needs to be "we serve happiness on a plate." Literally! I can't explain how good everything was, even during a packed house on Friday evening. If you don't try this place? You're missing out. Please do not mistake this small ma and pa business for a larger franchise with a similar name. This place wins.... hands down!”

But something seems different with the orange and lime sherbet. It tastes more like a creamsicle ice cream than sherbet. Did your recipe change? It does not taste as good in my opinion.”

“The place to go for coffee in North Scottsdale. It offers delicious and high-qualify coffee, matcha latte, and other beverages in a very pleasant setting with views of the McDowell Mountains and the Valley. The staff is very friendly. It’s a great place to read a book or the newspaper. I have been coming here for over two years and it was my son’s first stop when we left the hospital after he was born. It’s a very special place for us. The staff and regulars have seen my son grow up.

I figure the wait will be about the same, but I had a 6 drink order and figured if I ordered on the app all the drinks will be made correctly even if I have to wait the same time. Showed up 5 minutes before the scheduled time, was told I could park, and they'd bring it out to me. Assuring it'd be faster. They did have a rush, and it was a lot of drinks, how ever when I hit the 40-minute mark of waiting, I did go up to the window. All the drinks were ready and made in the fridge. They were very apologetic. I'm not sure where the miscommunication happened, but I would have rather been in line than told to park. I'm almost positive every car I would have been in line with, had already left.”

But when I went yesterday we normally do drive thru but we sat there for 15 mins and no one came out like normal, we even honked which we felt bad about . So we decided to just go in. Immediately the entire place stunk like a sewer. We weren’t acknowledged for about 15-20 mins and when she did take our order she kinda rude about it. All of the staff seem so depressed. Then another 15 mins later we get our 2 drinks. My friend got a small and I got a large. She gave us both jumbo . I’m honestly not complaining about that but you guys might wanna know that. “This is my favorite pho place and it is all about the flavor or should I say depth of flavor in the broth. Hot and sour ramen soup with chicken, beef, and shrimp and loaded with veggies is actually my favorite but watch out because it is Hot. I also love the short rib pho but ask them to take it off the bone as it is way easier to eat that way. That is an unctious bowl of pho and reminiscent of pot roast. I hardly ever go a week without the hot and sour ramen soup though. Highly recommended.”
